Peter was excellent. Very polite, considerate and listens to all questions. Peter conducted a thorough snag review of our property for at least 5 hours and was professional throughout. His report was excellent and highly detailed with photo's for every snag and description of the issues. Peter's reports has been of major importance to getting some major snags completed by our house builder.

If you are looking for a Snagger, use The House Inspector. You need go nowhere else as there is no-one better!

He was a genuinely lovely guy who took the time to explain everything to me and sent over a very thorough report with pictures and description about the issue and the solution needed from the builders. His attention to detail is second to none, he was here from 8.30-4 checking every aspect of my new home. He found things I wouldn't have thought of checking and gives peace of mind.

Fantastic experience with Pete, the House Inspector.
I recently bought a new build house in Oxfordshire and knew I wanted a professional snagger. However I really wanted someone locally based that I could contact directly, rather than just one of the UK-wide companies.
The House Inspector came up as part of my search. Pete was very easy to contact the via phone calls/ texts/ WhatsApp and he arrived promptly on the agreed date, which was 2 days after completion. He was here for 5+ hours and sent me the full report with 155 snags the same evening.
Overall, would definitely recommend - as a first time buyer this is all very new to me, but I feel that Pete was professional and very reliable.

Really pleased with the service from Pete, he was very friendly and personable, his attention to detail was impressive, and he took the time to explain things so we would understand any issues that he raised. Raised some snagging things that we'd never have even thought of, so definitely worth getting it done.

We hired Peter to inspect our new built home before we had our home demo inspection. He is one of the most professional yet friendly person within the home inspection industry. He was on time and made an effort to work along with the site team which kept our minds at ease. The report he provides with, at the end is self-explanatory and can be used to refer back when we go to inspect our home. I recommend Peter a 100% for any home inspection to be carried out.

Peter with his wealth of industry expertise carried out a comprehensive snagging inspection for our new build and we are very pleased to have it done before we moved in. We were aware that most of the new builds were rushed off for completion, missing a few things which could prove to be a nightmare if not picked up early.
Hence, we got Peter to do this survey which looks at more than just the cosmetics of property and all of the various issues that might crop up, from anything that falls below high standards of workmanship through to inadequate finishes to painting work and many more.
In the end, we received a professionally written report which we presented to our builder. An absolute gentleman and a thorough professional, Pete is the person we would always recommend for your snagging inspection.

Pete from the House Inspector is polite and professional. His work is to an excellent standard and I had my report within a day. Couldn't believe he found even the most minute snags and our house builder is now actioning the list of items. We asked Pete to do our snagging inspection a few weeks after moving in. He was very engaging from the off when asked about the merits of snagging at any stage. Clear and deliberate about what we can expect. He was able to fit us in on short notice (a bit of luck as he appears to be pretty busy - a good sign) demonstrating his flexibility. He came and went about his work in a diligent manner and was respectful of our space (a definite bonus). He has a good eye and picked up a number of things that our untrained eyes would not have spotted as a 'snag'. alongside this, the communication around and the speed of production of the snagging report cannot be faulted - I had it by the end of the same day that Pete attended. It is not hyperbole to say that his work has saved us hundreds or even thousands of pounds and untold hours in the future. We are very happy to recommend The House Inspector Ltd for the quality and value of the work. An additional benefit is that Pete is a keen runner and is seeking to raise funds for charity through his efforts. I'm in favour of engaging firms supporting the community and society in general.

We had a comprehensive snagging report on a new build we purchased 9 months ago. Pete carried out a thorough inspection and produced an extremely accurate report with over 160 issues (yes, I know, bit depressing for me as the homeowner to see them all together). He spotted so many issues in places I didn't even think of looking into, including a major issue with a garden retaining wall. He spent a lot of time in, out and around the house, as you can tell by the level of detail in the report. And Pete was genuinely lovely to deal with. Overall very recommended to anyone dealing with snagging issues in their new build.
