Great brand, very poor customer experience.

I’ve been a loyal North Face customer for years, buying jackets, snowboarding gear and bags. Unfortunately, my experience with The North Face Renewed has seriously tarnished my view of the brand.

Trying to economise, I ordered and paid for a jacket. They sent me a suitcase. The jacket was then unavailable, so they couldn’t replace it.

Mistakes happen — it’s how you put them right that matters.

Instead of simply refunding me, I had to return the suitcase (no problem returning it) I never ordered and wait for their warehouse to receive and process it before they would initiate my refund. Customer service simply repeated “policy” rather than taking ownership of a mistake entirely of their making.

So: no jacket, no immediate refund, and all the inconvenience sits with the customer.

A textbook example of how a simple mistake can become a very poor customer experience.

I won’t use The North Face Renewed again and, based on this experience, couldn’t recommend it.

Bought a long gilet , couldn’t get it anywhere else , just stumbled on this website , I have had my delivery and after inspection it is perfect , very happy with my purchase

I purchased a duffel bag from there, and the condition was listed as 'good'. I understand it is used by another customer and the quality was not 'Like New' or 'Excellent' but this is below what 'good' should be. The images would show all the stains and it would also be mentioned, but to my surprise they are NOT all mentioned, maybe once for a huge stain (which was too big to hide). When the item arrived, it had quite a lot of small stains all over the place, like pen marks here & there, with black marks everywhere, and the painted logo "THE NORTH FACE" was wearing off. It was very obvious that the previous owner owned the item for maybe 3-4 years and traveled the world with it, if that's a testament to how durable North Face products are, but I do wish I had known it was actually lower than second hand Oxfam or charity shops quality. Maybe I should not be so harsh because I purchased items being 'good' quality as opposed to the higher ones, or maybe North Face should NOT be selling items like this to maintain their reputation.

Avoid at all cost. I would rather buy something from Depop than this so called official “Northface”. Big mismatch between the photo and the real clothes. Thrift shops like Uptown provide better quality

If coats have an overwhelming smell of cologne when you receive , don’t think it has been renewed.
AI customer response is to send it back.

Wish I'd checked the reviews on here before ordering and not assumed that it would be the same great service you get ordering from The North Face.

Ordered a jacket but received someone else's order, a box full of a fortunes worth of items. I could have rubbed my hands together and thought yes I'm quids in here I'll keep this and shove it all on vinted but no I was honest and let them know.

They started a return which is refunding me £11.35 less than I paid because its charging me a return fee. Customer service claim this won't be the case and the full amount will be refunded but I don't trust them.

They have also sent a return label that I need to print off when I don't have a printer, I've reiterated to them 3 times I physically cannot print it off and I'll need a qr code to have it printed off at the drop off point but they are refusing to change it.

Why exactly am I having to carry around this massive box to return it anyway, they should be collecting from me!!

Honestly avoid them at all cost

Tried to order from them again after receiving an email saying the coat i wanted was in stock.. BIG BIG BIG MISTAKE TRUSTING THEM AGAIN. They took nearly two weeks to get back to me after i chased them up basically saying they needed to check with the warehouse.. turns out my coat wasnt in stock and never sent out so they issued a refund..I THEN GET A EMAIL TO SAY THE COAT IS IN STOCK STRAIGHT AFTER THEIR EMAIL.. You guys are a scam website, absolutely useless, just a heads up i am reporting you to trading standards, this company is NOT real and will NOT send out your coat. TAKE THIS AS A SIGN TO NOT ORDER WITH THEM. I am 100% sure the company is not real. Go into a third party store like JD or SIZE and avoid this company like the plague.

Awful customer service.

Purchased a jacket ‘like new’ the coat I received had large burns on the collar, when contacting customer service to have a significant reduction in price I was offered a measly 20% seeing as the coat ‘like new’ was £160 and the condition best describing it as ‘good’ was around £84

I have had 3 experiences buying Nuptse coats off renewed- two have been amazing at brilliantly reduced prices, the other I sent back as smelled terrible.
Pros: fabulous buying genuine North Face coats at reduced prices
Cons: a chance you get unlucky as I did and have to face the return cost.

I ordered a size M 3-in-1 jacket from The North Face Renewed for £105, but I received a size L instead. When I tried to return the item, I was told I would only be refunded £94, meaning the return shipping cost is being charged to me. I didn’t send the wrong item—so why am I being treated this way?

On top of that, I haven’t been able to reach anyone for support. It has been three days and no one has responded to me.
