Going to open an account on Saturday
On Saturday I went into the Nottingham Building Society to ask about the Money Saver product that was in the window for Money Saving Week. I was asked what the rate was and I said 4.25. It was found. I also had to go through a electronic check which was successful. It didn't take long to open and was straight forward.

Easy Withdrawal Process
OK, it was only simple transaction (a small withdrawal to my bank current a/c) but the process was so easy and the money was in my bank the next day so we'll done The Nottingham ! A "faster payments" system is the only improvement I can think of (enabling an instant/same day credit to my bank) but I'm not losing any sleep over that not (currently) being available.
