The One Stop Money Shop was founded in 2002 and originally started as a credit broker for short term affordable loans. The business later transformed into an online money lender as it continues to operate today.
Based in Wakefield, Yorkshire, we are proud to our northern roots and to be serving the whole of the UK with a flexible, instalment loan product. Moving away from the traditional payday loan product, we are pleased to offer loans repaid over 6,9 and 12 months which give customers greater flexibility and breathing space to repay their loans.
The One Stop Money Shop is a fully authorised lender under the Financial Conduct Authority, registration number 713424.
As an authorised firm, we have demonstrated our commitment to provide safe and transparent financial products with our customers' best interests at heart.
We carry out a series of checks to ensure that customers can afford to repay our loans without falling into financial difficulty and being clear and transparent is part of the company culture and centre to everything we do.

I had been granted an loan last month, I have explained my pay day has changed and I can only pay on that date only to be told that I’m lying and that they will be taking be payment on 31st I’ve told them this is an waste of time there will be no funds in my account and I want to raise an complaint I have been ignored for 4 days now so I came back today to raise an complaint in which I was told to send an email, I have never talked to ruder staff than I have now, I don’t know how these people are allowed to represent this company and they are lucky there are people like me who have taken loans to keep them in an job!

1 star is 1 too many
I applied for a loan on line,they then directed me to fernovo loans that if I borrowed £300 I would pay £450 back within 3 months and they would take my first payment is 14 days time so a loan with interest of £150 for a 10 week loan,not the worst part because I did not agree to that loan, today I have had several other companies contact me including a pawn broker and all these were passed on by this company,I am contacting the FCA about this whom I speak to on a regular basis with my job.

Avoid… already had a loan approved and paid back (cancelled). Decided I needed the loan after all so reapplied, provisionally accepted but then declined. Obviously not following a correct progress as my information is exactly the same when they accepted the loan first time. All unnecessary and wasting time.

Loan approvals are based on a range of factors, and a recent repayment doesn’t automatically guarantee approval for a new application—especially if applied for shortly after settlement. We did waive additional cost to which you were happy about. Sorry we are unable to offer you further funds at this present time.
