We have been informing you for days that you cooperated with fraudsters for the purpose of monetization! They have no absolute authority over the songs and the artists have assured you of that. Nevertheless, I will highlight some of them.

The Orchard is a big company with huge recourses but still they are allowing scammers to abuse their distribution platform and to release stolen material, public domain stuff and other copyright infringing content. Their support on the topic is non existent. In the last couple of weeks someone using their site is distributing fake releases on all streaming platforms on behalf of famous artists like Albert Cummings, Henrik Freischlader, Eva Carboni, Buster Benton, Sandra Hall and many others. Some of those releases are on behalf of deceased individuals and use stolen cover art and photos. Even after complains from the original artists the uploads are not removed and they have to use the DMCA removal forms to resolve the problems. It's a shame a respected company to allow criminals and scammers to exploit their system.

I have been to The Orchard Store several times for help. I have always been very happy with the service and my problems have always been solved. I will continue to use them and have recommended them to friends.

When I signed with them years ago, according to them, I could stop my association with them at any time. I tried to disassociate with them many times over the years. They are crooks.

Sony orchard is a top tier distributor they give you world wide access to all the platforms and have great customer service and analytics. The portal is easy to navigate and if you’re active with your releases they will take your business serious and respond to any issues you have in a timely manner. They don’t take everyone. You have to be seriously dedicated artist for them to distribute you. I went through Niche one of their subsidiary labels.They set up my deal. The orchard or Awal , both working together with artist is a total nonesense , so i upload a track and 3 days later they said it contained a copyrighted sample so i ask them to take it down then , i know is going to cause problems in stores . So I deleted the process of releasing the song . A week later they said they are closing my portal i ask for the reason and they give none all they said is we are closing your portal, bad customer service, and also have a complicated interface portal , you any mistake you getting banned . Bad bad bad for distribution . Dont use

The Orchard is illegally distributing one of my tracks through a label. But even when i tried emailing 3 different addresses from The Orchard i never recieve any replies. Basically this company is stealing from me, but without me being able to do anything about it. This is really music business at it's worst. If someone at The Orchard sees this, please provide me with an email that i can get a reply from.

Have been with the orchard for many years. Started off great. For the last 3yrs have been trying to access my account and make contact with them to no avail, no responses etc. Finally found a contact number where someone picks up, says they are giving you a name and a number to call, and of course no response again.
They used to take 20%, but since they cut off contact they went in to grab 100%

Got an automatic copyright claim linked to them on my YouTube video for 1 second of audio. I disputed it and even told them in the dispute exactly where the audio came from. They still claimed it belonged to them. I guess they're too lazy to actually look into these claims or just money hungry.

To have the assumption that being associated "The Orchard" would be a good thing. I'm here to tell you that it doesn't. My label was the product of Orchard/Sony gobbling up small distributors to take out competition. Instead of trying to heightened the small labels, they buried them instead, unless there is a money-maker, then Orchard would try to get them to jump ship to them. I loved my previous distributor, they didn't treat us simply has cash cows, they actually wanted to help us succeed, and in turn they would succeed. The Orchard business model has always been questioned over the years. I left, however they high-jacked a released without authorization and they pretend it didn't happened. I have begun litigation to remove my IP. Just like others have written, they are a unscrupulous entity, and stay away!!!
