Run away from this company. I ordered paint and they sent me the wrong color. I returned it and they never issued a refund, and were unresponsive to emails. Working with my CC company to dispute the charge.

I purchased a specialized primer and needed to cancel the order. The website indicates that all returns must be prior authorized. I attempted to get authorization for cancellation one day after placing the order, well before the product shipped. The communications and customer support are non-existent, as I made several attempts both on-line and by phone with no response. Needless to say, I am stuck with a product that I can not use. Some of products this company offer are specialized; buyer beware and accept the risk of potentially wasting your money as customer support is poor.

Ordered the wrong brush size was sent to me. Tried calling and emailing many times with no response. Only heard back after threatening a charge dispute — and the response was rude. Returned the items and they kept 25% of my money, then ghosted me again when I asked why. I’ve ordered from them many times before, but this experience was unacceptable.

Unprofessional, incompetent, worst communicators. It unlikely you will get all your order regardless of what the stupid outdated website says about availability. Spare yourself the aggravation and shop elashere.

I placed an order and paid for the fastest shipping option because I urgently needed the materials. I never received any shipping updates until I tried calling them (they never answer the phone) and submitted a message through their website. Only then did they finally ship my package. It’s been eight days since I placed the order, and I still haven’t received it.

They do have good prices and carry unique products, but their customer service is practically nonexistent. They don’t respond, they don’t reach out to customers unless you complain about delays, and orders only seem to move once you demand an update.

I’m not sure about the size or legitimacy of this company, but they clearly lack organized operations — delayed orders, zero customer support, and poor communication. I just hope my order arrives complete and in good condition.

This company is horrible! They take forever to ship items. When I emailed customer service to ask where my order was, they cancelled it and never responded after that.

I ordered some Sikkens stain four days ago and have not seen shipment notice yet. Called and left a message on their website. No one ever answered the calls... zero customer service. Can't cancel the order. Will have to order somewhere else and dispute this charge from PaintStore if the stain never arrive.... I highly doubt this is a legit business now.

I ordered 2 cans of pool paint on 6/13/25. As of 6/20/25, the paint still had not shipped. They do not answer the phone. Ever. I submitted 2 requests via their online inquiry form. They never actually answered, just sent a cancellation notice. I'm not even sure this is an actual business.

I’ve ordered with this company a few times and there’s always an issue. Non existent customer service, takes forever and a day to get the order, or they’re out of something and slow to refund $. I’ve emailed 5 times trying to return something and still no answer 3 weeks later.

Ordered paint 3 x 20L drums of paint and they arrived in 3 days. Super fast service , I would definitely use this company again.

Ordered 3 brushes intended for a job. Date of order Jan 6th. Now the 16th I told them days ago if they didn't go out cancel my order. They ignored and now on the way. I will return they purposely ignored my requests. Don't order!!!!!

Do not buy from this website. They send the wrong items, if anything. They do not respond to emails, do not answer the phone, do not respond to website messages. You will not get your money back from them or the items you ordered. I've attempted multiple times to resolve this issue with zero response. This is a scam website. BE WARNED!

I would not purchase anything from the paintstore. I am saying this because I never received my order. 158.00 down the drain

Thsi is a small business not in a large metropolitan area. Compared to the big boxes, their operation is unsophisticated. My order was only partially filled. It seems they don't maintain a real time inventory online. It took a couple of weeks, but they did refund the cost of the items that didn't ship. They were completely honest, their prices are great, and shipping was just fine. I'm happy to support thepaintstore.

I would not recommend buying anything from this site. Shipping is horrible from them, I placed an order 8 days ago and there hasn't been no activity with my order. They say it's ships in 3-5 days.
Take your money elsewhere.

Horrible. It seems like a scam website. Its a shame that I've only found this out after I ordered a few items from them. After weeks there's no update or shipping info available. Emails do nothing.

Just received my brushes to Ireland bought 3 only received 2 package half open very disappointed not sure if it got lost in transportion but it looks like it was open in store and a piece of the paintstore tape put across the middle of the envelope,very disappointed as we have to pay a hefty customs and brokerage charge to have brushes delivered into the country

my company regularly buys paint from these guys. Great prices and delivery in time. Keep it up! And a big request to expand the range of paint for the sprayer!
