The structured nature of the daily input in the 6 week course was the best thing for me. I kept the journal regularly. The input is well informed and the ability to communicate with others on line was great for me too. I have been enjoying my sober life since 5 January 2025.

I took this course in 2019. I was surprised and delighted by the level of engagement the course required. The course leader, Kate Bee, took personal interest in the cohorts successes and difficulties and was dedicated to supporting me to gain my desired outcome - sobriety. After completing the course, there is the option to continue with ongoing support from Kate Bee and her team and from peers. This course and the ongoing support has changed my life for the better. I’d strongly recommend it to ladies who wish to change their relationship with alcohol,

Joining The Sober School was one of the best decisions I have ever made. If I could give Kate 10 stars, I would. The programme is completely unique (and not at all like AA). Instead of focusing purely on stopping drinking, it helped me create a life I didn’t want to escape from. That shift changed everything for me and that was over 4 years ago.
The course is supportive and easy to follow and the coaches are exceptional. They guide you with compassion, knowledge and real understanding. I also met new friends who truly “get it” and continue to be part of my life, long after the initial programme finished.
Most importantly, it really works. I feel happier, healthier and more in control than I have in years. The value for money is outstanding too, especially considering the long-term impact it has had on my life.
If you’re even slightly considering it, do it. It was genuinely life changing for me and I can't thank Kate enough.

I relied on alcohol to deal with life’s ups and downs for more than 30 years. I knew I wanted to stop using alcohol but wasn’t sure if I could. I found Kate and the 7 day Sober School Reset course which offered a refreshing break from alcohol and asked some though provoking questions that provided a taster of what my life could be. After that it was a no brainer to sign up to the Getting Unstuck course. That was 7 months ago and it has been wonderful. I no longer drink alcohol, not because of will power, but because I choose not to. The course was fantastic - you get as much out as you’re willing to put in. It takes commitment, an open mind, trust in the process and a willingness to be honest and vulnerable but in return you’ll get amazing support from Kate, the coaches and the fantastic community of women who will become your friends and cheerleaders. You’ll also upgrade your life! The community is a special place and a privilege to be a part of. The course may feel expensive and a bit of a leap of faith but I’ve saved enough money from not drinking to pay for the course several times over now! Knowing what I know now, I would have paid more. Think of this as an investment in yourself because that’s what this is. I owe a lot to Kate and I’m very grateful for her help in setting myself free from one of the world’s most addictive substances. Good luck with your journey to freedom and your life upgrade.

This is a fabulous place to get support with giving up alcohol. It is women only so it is all like minded females who can chat openly to each other and get all the support they need. There are up to 3 live zoom calls a week for any issues you have or just to say hi and get support and encouragement. The best part about it is that all the people who run'/help with this group have been exactly where you are . Can't recommend it highly enough. It also encourages self growth.

I joined the Getting Unstuck course 2024 and haven't looked back. The skills and coping mechanisms I learnt are invaluable. Two years AF and loving every moment totally present and wiser. This course helps you tap into your super power, by that I mean you need to allow yourself to trust process utilise the support provided by Kate Bee, and the coaches.
Following the course you have an option to join the Sober School Community. All the resources and more are available for you to revisit. As during the GU course there are regular zoom calls hosted by Kate and Coaches. The sober school is an exclusive community for women its a safe non-judgemental place. Everyone in the community has space to share wins and challenges receive support and in turn provide support to others. If your looking for the way out of grey area drinking and don't know how then this course / community will provide the knowledge with support and compassion.

Kate Bee and the Sober School are the real deal. I have been battling with overdrinking and hangovers for years stealing my health, waistline, money, relationships and time for far too long. The Sober School, which I joined in 2024, is a well-designed, well-paced and evidence-based 6-week course that is also entertaining. Yes, there is a financial cost, personal commitment and a willingness to look at the reasons why you drink. However the superb course, the support offered by the team during and after the course and the non-judgemental community, not to mention the money saved on alcohol make it all absolutely worth it!
Oh, and did I mention the increased self-worth and life-upgrade it provides?

This programme and the after course support club is changing lives . I had been unhappy about my drinking for a long time . But I wasn’t drawn to the AA model .
Kate and her team have developed a daily 6 week course to help women thru the first 6 weeks of giving up alcohol. There is then a support club . It’s all on line and the support is always there . A real game changer .

The Sober School is a genuine community that helps coach and guide women into having a healthier attitude towards alcohol. I can’t recommend Kate Bee’s approach enough and would not be where I am today in my sober journey without her wise guidance and the ongoing support of this community. Truly life changing.

It was the end of 2016 and I had seen an advert for The Sober School. At that time I was desperate to stop drinking. Waking up in the morning with a stomach full of nerves and looking in the mirror, wishing that today would be the day that I didn't have a drink. But I let the advert slip because I was like.. Would this work? Who is this person? It surely couldn't work for me. So Xmas came and went and after a disastrous drinking episode on mothers day I actively searched to see when the next course was starting. It was April 2017! And I joined. But.. 3 days into the course and I was still drinking. Oh no I knew it couldn't happen to me, I was destined to be a failure. So I emailed Kate and told her what was happening. Kate kindly wrote back and actively encouraged me to share how I was feeling with the group. I did this and the support flooded in. I felt like I was part of a community, cared for and this gave me the smallest belief that maybe I could do this. And there it was, 6 April 2017, was my last drink. I absolutely loved the course content. I couldn't wait each day for the daily email. I didn't want the 6 weeks to end. I learned so much from those 6 weeks it really helped me navigate my way through lots of life's difficulties. But let's be clear here. Giving up drinking was super hard! I could have bitten my left arm off at times. I had tears, anger and lots of emotions happy, sad, euphoria, all racing around my head at the same time. But know this. It was absolutely worth it. After a while all the drinking noise calmed down and I embraced sober life. I felt like I had a super power and my life changed for the better. I will forever be grateful to Kate and The Sober School.

I had been concerned about drinking for a long time, particularly it’s affects on my mental and physical health. I saw Sober School advertised, and I was curious. Luckily I put my trust in Kate and can quite honestly say that it has been life changing. Since joining I don’t feel alone with my problem and realise there are so many more women out there struggling like I was. Kate has created a fantastic course which is well researched and delivered skilfully in easy to manage daily parts. It’s up to you how much you put in or take out. The group calls are a lifeline and you can reach out to the coaches and other group members to help you at any time. I was scared to give up alcohol but had failed for many years to moderate my drinking. The Getting Unstuck 6 week course has helped me on my way to now being 6 months sober - a small miracle in my view. It has equipped me with information which has enabled me to create ‘sober tools’ to support my AF life. The option to join the Stay Sober Club at the end of the course is genius, connecting with like minded women and having access to coaches is invaluable when navigating through life’s trials and tribulations without alcohol.

I am a 76 year old, living in Australia. I signed up for this course back in September 2024. After the course, I then joined the club, as I felt I still needed some ongoing support. It is now the end of January 2026 - 500 days sober! - and I have never regretted my initial decision to ‘give it a go’. I did the Getting Unstuck course in 2023 after a breast cancer diagnosis wanting to be alcohol free. I am a psychiatrist and paid particular attention to the course design programme and content. It was impressive! The warmth and support of Kate coaches and other women. The mix of zoom calls, videos and community chat threads. You can remain anon. I just wish there was an equivalent for men.

I found a little book on stopping drinking. At the end of the book, there was a website to learn more. I checked out the website and listened to that niggling in my head to join. OMG I am so glad I did! Kate Bee and her course is the real thing. Six whole weeks to learn a new way of thinking about alcohol and its effects, as well as being guided along with proper coaching from her and her colleagues was exactly what I needed. The Sober School helped me learn new skills and coping strategies as well as new ways to think. Period. I cannot recommend this school enough. It was life changing and I wish it came along sooner. It was well worth the small sum of money for the course, especially when compared to how much money you used to spend on alcohol. The course is a game changer and I highly recommend it. joining the school and the Stay Sober Club gives you all the support you need and it is completely NON-JUDGMENTAL. I cannot say enough about this course.

I live in Australia, and we have a reputation for loving a drink. I have to say I upheld that reputation pretty darn well - too well. It was having a negative effect on every aspect of my life and then I found The Sober School and I got my real life back! It took time and work but the support I got was amazing. On the other side of the world, I found a group of like minded women that welcomed me with open arms and helped guide me to a place I never knew existed. They supported me until I could support myself, and now I can pass that support on. I am and will be forever grateful.
