I’m an Irish customer and had a very disappointing returns experience with Sport Edits.
I already paid £5 for shipping, which is fair. However, when the shoes arrived too small, I was told I had to organise and pay for the return myself because I’m based in Ireland. This cost me €20 to send the item back to the UK.
What’s unacceptable is that even when I decided to return the item for a refund instead of an exchange, I still had to pay the €20 return cost. In total, trying to buy from Sport Edits cost me around £25 just in shipping and return fees.
The product itself was good, but selling to Irish customers under these conditions makes returns and exchanges extremely discouraging. I won’t be shopping with them again.
P.S To answer The Sport Edit: I printed the 10£ label on your website but when I call to support they told me that because I was in Ireland that wasn’t valid, that was only for UK Returns.

Had issues with the trainers I bought, however must give 5 stars for excellent and understanding customer service who issued me another pair of trainers. However those also broke but then I received a full refund without any problems.

Awful company. I can’t locate my parcel that was supposedly delivered by Evri (shows a picture of it, but I can’t find it!), and customer service are ignoring my emails. The order was a lot of money, and I’m pulling my hair out wondering how I’ll contact them as they don’t have a phone number!

Evri lost my parcel & were totally non responsive. Sofia at sports edit sorted out the issue straight away and re sent the item. Good customer service but maybe they should look into a different courier service

I am absolutely disgusted by the service of this company. I hadn’t heard of them before, so I was a bit wary of ordering with them, but they had some good trainers at good prices, so I thought I’d give them a go. I ordered 2 pairs for choice, and loved both, but sent 1 back, as I had also ordered 2 pairs from another retailer, and wanted to return 1 pair to them too.
Unfortunately I accidentally made the error of returning the wrong trainers (worth more money from the other retailer) to the sports edit. I realised this before the return had reached the sports edit, so I emailed to let them know (they don’t have a contact number). I obviously offered to pay for them to be returned to me once they arrived and/or arrange a courier.
However when the incorrect trainers reached them, they told me they couldn’t locate them and wouldn’t be able to send them back to me, despite acknowledging that my return had reached them, and being able to tell me I hadn’t returned the correct trainers, but for some reason, the trainers I did send are now nowhere to be found. They don’t even sell this pair of trainers on their website, so I can only imagine someone has taken them home for themselves.
I am now being completely ignored via email, despite their 24 hour response promise, and their latest reply just stated ‘there was nothing they could do from their end’.
I appreciate this has all happened because of my mistake, but the bottom line is; they have my trainers, they have not reimbursed me the difference for the trainers, and now they want me to send the correct ones back for nothing too.
I honestly couldn’t imagine a company being so unhelpful, apathetic and detached.

Excellent service and communication from Jasmine in customer support. There was an issue with my order and Evri. When I reached out I got a quick response and Jasmine rectified it very quickly. Happy customer :)

Placed a large order from sale which was held up due to bad weather then packages went missing. Evri were tracking but unable to trace and so I contacted Sports Edit to inform them I still hadnt received the delivery. I had an answer within a couple of hours with full refund and apologies. Excellent customer service which is why I will keep ordering.

I made an order on 31 December, and still haven't received it. Whilst the customer service team have actually been very responsive (hence the 3 stars), and lay the blame on Evri experiencing internal glitches, I can see quite a few comments going back several months with the same experience and excuses. I've also received several packages from other retailers using Evri with no problem. TSE have given me a refund but something is not working and if it's the delivery partner causing the issue, I would say move to another provider.

Poor return experience. If you pay part by gift card they will only refund to the gift card first - not the remaining balance paid by credit card. Never had an online retailer do that. They say “refund back to the original method” - prioritizing the gift card not your credit card - which is NOT standard practice. Buyer beware!

I contacted Customer service with a query about my order. They resolved the issue & were very helpful personal & efficient. I’m very happy with the items I ordered & they arrived promptly & well packaged. I will definitely order from them again.

I had a real issue identifying an order I knew I’d made as I had the goods but there was nothing showing my account. Confusion rained but after a few emails with Sofia we resolved the issue. Her patience won out. My lack of knowledge and using hidden email address didn’t help! Thank you Sofia.

Companies are often judged on the way they handle situations when things go wrong. And rightly so. Jasmine managed to reverse an in-store credit to me, when I had selected that option instead of a monetary refund to the payment card, without realising. She did it with no fuss and in record time, and I was extremely grateful.
