Not great. Bought to pieces of sale fabric at a show. One french georgette and the other Japanese satin. Both have the nastiest and stickers labels on, that are impossible to peel off and have left a horrible residue. Might've been cheap but is a total waste of money. Not impressed

I saw fabric on Thimbles' stall at the NEC earlier this month but didn't have time to stop to purchase. I messaged Thimbles the next day and a lovely lady contacted me, knew exactly which fabric I wanted and I purchased it over the phone after the show. Excellent service and beautiful fabric. I have shopped with Thimbles before at quilt shows and will continue to shop with them.

After buying some material from this company. Unfortunately it didn't arrive.
After 5 weeks I telephoned the number on my receipt but no answer.
I then emailed them. 10 minutes later a lady phoned me back which I was shocked as I didn't leave a message. the
very helpful lady tracked the item down. It had gotten lost by royal mail so she said no problem and sent a refund and apologised.
She was a lovely lady and could not have been more helpful. 2 days later my bank prosesed my payment
I have no hesitation in buying from them again

First time using this company, I wanted some soft egyptian 100% cotton fabric that would work with some Kaffe Facett fabric for a quilt in plain balck and white. This was the only company I could find who sold the cotton I wanted. Arrived on time, excellent service and the fabric is beautiful. Thank you. Will definately be using you again.

I bought two fat quarters from this company's stall at Festival of Quilts this year. One of them is 8 cm short!! Might not sound like a big deal but that is a row of squares or hexagons I've been done out of. Avoid!! I've messaged them twice with no response.

Earth calling Thimble...you've had my order since 15th July, WHERE IS IT? Have you turned into a safe deposit-box? I've tried to cancel but heard nothing, I've phoned the carppy courier company, Whistl who redirected me, to you, and STILL you won't respond. Does the term 'tosspot' mean anything to you and ring bells as to why I'll never use you again? Rude

When I wanted to cancel an order I had placed earlier in the day, they were very helpful and put a stop to the order being sent and provided me with a full refund, they also phoned me to tell me, which was very thoughtful 😁

I contacted thimbles via their WhatsApp msg platform, got immediate response and questions answered, friendly service and superb dispatch and delivery, will definitely be using again

I ordered item on 3rd Dec. Received receipt then waited patiently. Chased order on 18th Dec.
Today 19th Dec i had to chase order again! I was then told item is out of stock and refund would be raised!! Annoying as too late now to order elsewhere and have in time for Christmas So NOT impressed.
Avoid.

I used and no problem. Took 2 friends to the warehouse to show how good it was. We bought fabric and ordered some more. Paid for it and it hasn't come. Now I can't get in touch on any of the numbers I have or email. Really need to talk to someone.

Originally bought from Thimbles at a craft show, and wanted to use them again so placed an order online. There was a problem with delivery but they were helpful, sent out a replacement and checked the update of the order with me. Would definitely use them again!

Ordered one ball of wool to be delivered to my mums address for her to finish a project she is working on. Took them 5 days to tell me it was out of stock and a 2 week wait. They are still selling it on their website.
Bought elsewhere and waiting for refund.

I placed an order for three fabrics with this company in mid July. It arrived within the timeframe expected but two of the fabrics were the wrong ones and sent in error. I used the website to contact them to explain and received a reply within 24 hours. On sending photographs of what I received they agreed to exchange the fabrics if I returned the ones sent in error. As I posted these back at my expense they asked me to choose a further cut of fabric as compensation. The person who was emailing me was very polite and professional throughout. The correct fabrics have just arrived and came well packaged. Although I wish the error hadn’t happened I am a satisfied customer as it was resolved quickly and easily and I did not lose out. I think the price paid and free postage offer at the moment makes this a great company to shop with and I hope to return once my current quilt is finished.

Placed an order, had acknowledgement but heard nothing further. I sent a query via their website and the only response I got was to verify my address. Then, nothing. I sent emails and left messages on their mobile numbers. Still nothing. Luckily I used PayPal and I have now received a refund from PayPal. Not a good advert for a company. I am always now very wary when a company only has a mobile number or two for contact.

I wish I had read the review of this company on your website before ordering. I also didn't receive my goods after waiting for three weeks even though they say they send it out to the courier the next day. I got a refund through Paypal in the end.
