I am currently doing the SEN Teaching Assistant course with Think Employment, and I can honestly say it has been an amazing learning experience.

The course is providing me with a lot of knowledge and a much better understanding of autistic children, child behaviour, and how to support challenging behaviour. It explains both proactive strategies and reactive strategies, which are very helpful in understanding how to manage different situations effectively.

It also helps me understand why challenging behaviour happens, the underlying causes behind it, and how the brain functions in different situations. The course has also taught me about reflection, how to think about incidents, understand what happened, and improve future responses.

Another very important part of the course is that it teaches how to take care of ourselves as carers or support workers, including managing stress and maintaining our own wellbeing. It also covers safeguarding policies and procedures, which are extremely important before starting a job as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

As a mother as well, I truly believe this course is very valuable because it helps in understanding children’s behaviour and how to respond calmly and appropriately.

The live sessions provided by Think Employment are excellent — they are very interactive, interesting, and full of useful knowledge from the tutors. The tutors are always helpful, supportive, and ready to guide whenever needed, even while completing the modules.

I feel I am receiving full support throughout the course, and I am really happy with the learning, the guidance, and the overall experience. I truly feel that this course covers everything that is important to know before starting a role as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

My experience with Think Employment while completing my Teaching Assistant Level 2 course has been very positive. The course itself is well-structured and easy to follow, with clear guidance and supportive tutors who are always willing to help when needed. The learning materials are practical and relevant, which has made it easier to understand how to apply the skills in a real classroom setting.

One of the standout aspects of Think Employment is the level of support they provide beyond just the course. They are actively helping me with finding a job, which has made a big difference in building my confidence and preparing me for the next step in my career. Their team offers helpful advice on applications, CV writing, and interview preparation, making the whole process feel much less overwhelming.

Overall, I would highly recommend Think Employment to anyone looking to gain qualifications and move into a teaching assistant role. They not only provide quality training but also genuinely support you in progressing into employment.

The Teaching was fantastic by Alice. Very patient and knowledgeable which made me feel comfortable and confident to learn and ask questions.

The courses are only useful if you have no certification at all in the related field you want to get into, otherwise it is a waste of time.

Did a Level 3 Teaching Assistant course, despite holding a bachelor’s in psychology since I’m pursuing a career in Educational psychology. My application to be a TA or Learning Support Assistant would initially be stronger as it would show commitment and me being eager to learn about the educational system more. Completed the assessment questions back in July 2025, the tutor I had Louise Cox was always pushing us to finish the assessments ASAP and not to let it ‘pile up’, after multiple correspondence of chasing it with her she stopped replying assuming this is when she resigned, followed it up with management but got nothing back except a ‘completion of course’ email which proved and held no value to recruiters. I initially had to remove the pending certification from my CV as it’s not legitimate unless I can prove I have a certificate for it. Spoke to multiple people from management but all I got was ‘I’ll follow it up’ empty words with no actions. Three months later I got a call saying Louise had resigned and the papers will be marked , yet again nothing else. And just recently I keep receiving emails or phone calls asking if I’m using the certification from the bootcamp and whether I need help with employment like some kind of sick joke. Not to mention I had to initially prove im employed in the educational field when I have gained nothing from doing the course itself!

A lot of strict rules about attendance and how cameras should be on which is understandable to a certain degree however, Communication between team members (tutors) and admin staff itself is awful. Management hold no responsibility and seems to pass it off to other people instead. Almost like pass the parcel game but everything is a bad gift and no one has accountability for anything. I understand we’re all humans and make errors but this whole experience was made to be a joke to me. Now April 2026 and still waiting for an update of my certificate or whether the papers have actually been marked.

Wonderful, supportive and knowledgeable tutors and a genuinely interesting course, which I really believe will help in securing a TA role.

The most I liked was the program flexible, very handy where I work with, no pressure just me and my thoughts within the course . Lovely experience and if I decide to make a next level achievement definitely I will choose think employment . I have really learn so many. The tutors were very helpful, I did a level 3 boot camp teaching assistant course, the tutors have been very helpful with getting me through the course. With Alice, Janet, Emma and Stephane, all giving good workshops to gain knowledge.

I have just completed my level 2 SEN teacher assistant course.I would like to thank think employment especially Rohima such an wonderful person to talk to and for providing such great opportunity and specially my tutor Aimee Horsley who provided great support during my journey .Its been a great journey with her. I would recommend everyone to join think employment if you are planning to work in education field. It was amazing journey and thank you .

I am in the process of completing my L3 TQUK Bootcamp course and this would not have been easy without the support of my tutor,Alice.Her consistent communication through emails and feedback gave me lot of encouragement and motivation to complete this course.Her feedbacks were very helpful for me to get the right understanding and success fully completing the course. I had an amazing experience with think employment, the hours are flexible and the program was also easy to manage, the tutors were amazing and very supportive. I had Alice as my tutor and she was honestly so kind and enthusiastic, she was also very encouraging.

I’ve had an amazing experience with Think Employment from day one. The support has been continuous and truly outstanding.

My tutors, Alice, Emma, and Jess, have all been fantastic. They all work really hard!
Their encouragement and dedication to the their students shines through, very quick at responding to any questions or queries. They’ve not only helped me gain the best knowledge for the Teaching Support Skills Bootcamp, but they’ve also supported me personally, boosting my confidence along the way. I cant thank you all enough!

The course also provided a life coach, Chloe, who was remarkable. She helped with every enquiry, guided me in decision-making, and gave excellent advice throughout the course.

I’d also like to thank Anthony and Jo for their support with practical things like CV building, interview advice, and exploring opportunities after completing the course.

The course itself was really informative, and no question was ever too much trouble for anyone. The application process was simple and straightforward.

Although the Z sessions were optional, I found them extremely valuable for life skills and self-development.

A huge thank you to everyone at Think Employment for making this such a positive and enriching experience!

I did the Data Analytics bootcamp and the classes were ok overall. I must confess, however, that tutors didn’t seem to care much about certain clients. There was a strong hierarchical dynamic between employed and unemployed participants, white and non-white ones too. Some people from the NHS were treated with much more care and sympathy, whereas the rest of us were often ignored or met with eye-rolling responses.
Overall, it wasn’t too bad as a course. The absolute worst part was the “employment” support. Susy disappear all the time, never answered any email and was patronising, rude, and sarcastic most of the time in the control calls. She kept insisting there is a shortage of professionals in the UK and spoke to me as if I were completely incompetent to land in a job interview. It was awful. She never replied to emails and took more than two months to schedule a meeting just to “show me LinkedIn” — seriously girl?

The interactions felt like pure box-ticking exercises, with no genuine willingness to provide support at all. Avoid like the plague.

Waste of time and effort AVOID!!!!

Waste of time and effort, don't go here if you want to drive hgv's from Yorkshire area as they promise you the world but have you jumping though hoops and not even guaranteed to get to the end of the course due to the stupid policy they have in place. None of the staff are helpful even though they seem nice. If you want to waste 100 hours of your time and more and not even guaranteed a hgv test then get enrolled and see for yourself 👍

My experience with Think Employment has been excellent. The online classes were well organised, communication was reliable, and the faculty demonstrated exceptional teaching standards. The Moodle assignment app and learner diary kept me motivated, and the Z‑units were particularly valuable. I also appreciated the consistent guidance from my employment coach, Mr Anthony. I’m grateful that this journey even led to an opportunity to volunteer as a tutor with Action Tutoring.

Think employment took away all the stress of trying to become a HGV driver. Between the communication from them as a company as well as the magnificent tutors (I had Graham and Richard who are 2 of the best and most knowledgeable people I now know) I had all the faith that they would help me achieve my dream. They definitely know their stuff and helped wherever they could. As well as the fact it’s government funded so didn’t have to pay a penny myself, if I can do this and get to where I am then anyone can.

I would have had no other way to get into the driving industry if not for Think Employment and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a change of career.

One last incredible shoutout to Graham and Richard as tutors! Thank you ever so much for all your help and I will miss the daily laughs!
