I chose Tikamoon because it presents itself as a premium furniture brand. After spending over £1,200 on six teak garden chairs, I expected premium quality and premium customer service. Instead, two of the six chairs (one third of my order) arrived with structural cracks in the wooden frame. These were not minor cosmetic imperfections but defects that were immediately visible when I unpacked the chairs. I reported the issue within minutes of delivery and provided photographs straight away. What disappointed me most was not the manufacturing defect itself—these things can occasionally happen—but the way Tikamoon handled the situation afterwards. Their initial offer was £42.50 compensation for each damaged chair, despite each chair costing approximately £209. Only after I challenged this did they increase the offer to £55 per chair. Even then, the compensation represented barely a quarter of the purchase price for chairs that should never have passed quality control. The alternative was to wait around three weeks for replacements. This completely ignored the fact that I bought the chairs to use immediately during the summer, and that replacement teak chairs would naturally differ in colour from the four chairs already exposed outdoors, leaving me with a mismatched set. The voucher option was equally unrealistic after I had just spent over £1,200 with the company. What is particularly disappointing is that there was no genuine attempt to find a customer-focused solution. Every proposal felt like a standard policy rather than an effort to resolve the situation fairly. I had to negotiate repeatedly simply to obtain a modest increase in compensation. When you position yourself as a premium retailer and charge premium prices, customers rightly expect premium after-sales service. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. The furniture design is attractive, but based on my experience, Tikamoon’s quality control and customer service fall well short of the standards their prices suggest. I would think very carefully before placing another large order with them.
We received our table after 4 months (we knew about this waiting time). The table came and needed 45 minutes of assembly and 4 people to lift it. The website said that it was a 5 minute assembly.
More importantly the table came with lots of scratches and a screw missing and it was dusty and that is not how I would like to receive a two and a half thousand pound table. So disappointing.

This was already pushing our timelines but because the product looked great we went for it. After taking our money and waiting 7-8 weeks we got a note to say the wait time would double from 10-20 weeks and that this was 'normal' and should have been communicated from the offset. This has had a significant knock on effect for us as a plumber has been booked and means we'll be moving home with a newborn and no bathroom sink. 20 weeks is almost half a year... nobody should be waiting that long for furniture!

Excellent customer service from Lucie at Tikamoon. She followed up my queries and got back to me quickly. She was friendly, kind and competent. We love the Marius rattan armchair we bought. It is beautifully made, so stylish and very comfortable. It is a stunning feature in the room.

Ordering was simple, tracking was easy and delivery was great. The furniture was delivered to the room of our choice and all packaging taken away. The delivery guys were very polite and took great care not to leave any mess. The furniture is beautiful.

Very disappointing. I had enquired about a unit which was £1000 with a 10% discount, making the unit £900 but the delivery was 4 months. I enquired with customer service who said it should be dropping to 10 weeks very soon, so I could keep an eye out and order then. Which I did. When the delivery time dropped they added a £50 delivery fee. On enquiring they would not honour the price in enquired at. Unfortunately I, as any other customer, am not willing to pay an extra £50 a mere few days after enquiring about the product.

Tikamoon’s logistics are a mess. I am still waiting for items I ordered a month ago. The first parcel was lost, and the second was held up by customs.
I did receive one parcel from the first order, however, it arrived shattered into pieces. They sent a replacement, but I returned it because it was poorly crafted.
The stars are for the customer service team, who have been quick to respond, even when they had no updates to provide.

I did have to do the unpacking myself. heavy duty cardboard, polystyrene spacers, edge support etc. The sideboard looks beautiful---it brings me joy everytime I look at it.

I have never had such a frustrating delivery experience.
I purchased a sideboard (£799) and a vase (£150), and I specifically paid an additional £70 for Tikamoon's premium delivery service. According to the service description, the furniture should be delivered to the room of your choice, unpacked, inspected, and signed for.
Instead, I received a call from BJS Home Delivery before delivery informing me they would not deliver anything above the second floor. I explained that I live on the third floor and that leaving a large sideboard on the second-floor communal landing would literally block the communal hallway. The manager was dismissive, refused to listen, and ended the call while I was still trying to explain the situation.
I contacted Tikamoon, who told me they would contact BJS Home Delivery and ask them to complete the delivery to the third floor. When the delivery team arrived, they completely ignored this. They were rude, aggressive, and unprofessional from the moment they arrived. They left the furniture in the hallway, then attempted to take it back, shouting that I had to immediately decide whether I was accepting or refusing the delivery. When I explained that Tikamoon had contacted them regarding the third-floor delivery, I was simply told, "I don't care. I don't work for Tikamoon."
Tikamoon then distanced themselves from the issue, saying it was the courier's responsibility. When I contacted customer service again, I was told I would have to pay another £10 for third-floor delivery—something that was never offered as an option during checkout. Why advertise a £70 premium delivery service that promises delivery to the room of your choice if that apparently isn't included?
After around 30 minutes of arguing and several phone calls to their manager, the delivery team finally agreed to bring the furniture upstairs. Even then, they simply left everything in the middle of my living room. They did not unpack the items, did not inspect them, and did not allow me to check everything before requesting a signature, despite this being part of the premium service I had paid for.
As a result, I later discovered that the vase was broken and the sideboard has a scratch.
To make matters worse, I submitted a formal complaint to BJS Home Delivery, and they never even bothered to respond. No acknowledgement, no apology, no follow-up—absolutely nothing. That level of customer service is unacceptable.
This entire experience has been exhausting and incredibly disappointing. I paid extra for a premium service and received the complete opposite: poor communication, misleading information, aggressive behaviour, damaged goods, and a service that failed to deliver what was advertised.
I will never purchase from Tikamoon again, and I certainly cannot recommend BJS Home Delivery. I also intend to escalate this matter further, as neither company appears willing to take proper responsibility for what happened.
I also woud like to re iterate ,after reading Tikamoon response, that the option to deliver to third floor proposed by the chat agent customer service was not an option at checkout and 70quids is enough to deliver to a third floor. They did not offer any sort of compensation for the stress and that to me is bad costumer service. I am done with my review and wish them the best of luck with the rest of their experience hopefully no one else has to go trough this kind of experiences.
