Joe Stroup was able to resolve our tax issue with the IRS. We first engaged Joe over the tax issue while he was at another firm. He successfully resolved the issue then but almost 10 years later the IRS attempted to revive the issue. We were able to locate Joe at Timberline and he was to address our problem with the IRS immediately because of the past resolution. He worked on the problem and was able to once again resolve the IRS issue.

Joe Stroup is the Man!!! I’ve had nothing but a great & positive experience(s) working with Joe Stroup the past 9 months. Joe has taken a certain IRS Agent, who is way too inexperienced, to task for targeting me, drumming up false and out of date IRS Codes. Had I ever tried to do this myself (like I first tried to do - going direct to the IRS) my wife and I would have had to file for BK last fall.
Joe wouldn’t and hasn’t allowed that to happen. He’s negotiated on our behalf a very fair settlement offer to the IRS, one that we can comfortably afford and one that we are legally entitled to. If you’re sitting on the fence about hiring someone like Joe to represent you, get the Hell off of it and give both Joe & Timberline a call. I most appreciate their personable approach and how relatable they are. They communicate in a way that we can understand. Not a lot of big words/terms that we don't understand. They lay out a strategy that is clear and concise. We tried another company and wasted almost 2 years and got no where. Great folks to work with.
