The guys Peter and David did a great job from quote to removal of old deck and install of new deck. Great attention to detail and troubleshooting. Deck looks great very pleased

Five star service! Great work, great team! Employed these guys twice. Very happy with everything. I have a penthouse apartment and changed my deck few years ago. Delighted with the job. Last year due to issue with the Mngt company had to lift it up and put it back on. Guys helped me with this no problem. Highly recommend this company! Five star business.

My husband & I recently employed the services of David, Peter's son to install a new deck for us and we are absolutely delighted with the finished product. David presented to do the job at the stated time, installed the deck to a very high standard, advised my husband and I on maintaining the deck going forward. He was very genuine and professional from start to finish and thus why we are highly recommending Peter & his guys as they truly deserve a five star rating.

Past experience with timberworld online orders have by and large been fine, however last experience no so well they sent standard 18mmMdf instead of 18mm mr Mdf although they agreed refund though not yet received,they insisted that the Mdf was correct and that Medite have stopped dying the mr which distinguishes it from the cheaper brown Mdf

I then contacted Medite and asked if this was true they said no,MR Mdf it’s still green in the middle.went back to timberworld/ Arnold laver Oldbury who now say that it kronospan that’s why it’s not green that’s also not true as I’ve had kronospan MR the brown mr and green this stuff was not kronospan MR besides kronospan is cheaper this wasn’t

They then sent me a warehouse image of pack which had v313 sprayed on the stack as if that suppose to prove it’s authenticity. The product code however blurred image from what I can make out the codes does not match what’s on my invoice

the density of Mr Mdf is very different from the standard brown stuff this definitely was not MR mdf.
I have used mr caberwood Medite and kronospan in the past this was not MR Mdf

And it’s cost me more in a delivery charge as I have to now order from elsewhere as they will not refund my delivery cost even in partial.

I will in future think twice before ordering from them again.

Furthermore I used a discount code that timberworld sent me by email
After placing order they telephoned me and tried to charge it as outstanding balance I explained it was discount code so they did follow through with order but I now wonder if they intentionally sent the standard Mdf as that is cheaper which would in turn negate my discount.

I bought some timber on the 2nd August and, after several emails to the company asking where it was, I received a reply almost a month later, saying it had been delivered. As I think I would have noticed if piles of timber had turned up on my doorstep, I rang Timberworld to confirm that no, it hadn't been delivered.
It turned out that the timber had been sent to another address 14.9 miles away (different village/different postcode). This, in itself, was really annoying, but I accept that mistakes happen!

But it has been almost a week and the refund still has been processed. I have sent a couple of emails to Timberworld regarding this but I'm now being ghosted. I honestly don't know what to do to get my money back, and I'm having to look into my legal options. It's a headache I could without, and I will certainly never buy from this awful company again.

Terrible company. The women staff at Rainham are so rude. Has been a shambles from start to finish with not so much as an apology! Sent me 6 fence panels that were the leftovers and discoloured from the straps and broken. I sent the pictures in and was told they won't replace only collect. When i checked there website a day or 2 later they had 25 in stock. They collected and then when I chased refund was giving attitude. Was then advised they would send credit notes and didn't receive them either! I really don't understand what type of organisation they are running and how it makes any money with the attitude your met with! Do not recommend!!

Good prices but very late delivery and no feedback or any updates from them.
ordered timber which was showing stock of over 1000t, and saying delivery within 5 days. when hasnt arrive after 5 days, contacted them and they said, that will be delivered next week. hasnt. so contacted again and again said another week as need to be transfer from another plant. (2 weeks to transfer and despatch 60units of timer? come on).
Still havent recieved them. hoping that they'll arrive next week.
not recommend the company. I would stick to Wickes/B&Q, much more relabe and responding.

Recently got composite decking installed. Very prompt turnaround. Reliable service and more than happy with finished product. Payment given upon completion. Very polite and professional service.

Really happy with Peter and his guys , wooden patio looks amazing, very impressed with peter professionalism and communication throughout the process

AVOID AVOID AVOID!
Avoid this scam artist at all costs. Peter is most untrustworthy and will essentially rob your money. We had a decking fitted but it was not done correctly. We raised concerns during the installation to be told to not worry and in the unlikely event, they would come back to fix it if needed. Low and behold, it needed fixing but 3 months later, we still cannot get Peter to return to fix it. He stopped answering any of our phone calls, won’t reply to texts or emails. We will have to pay for a proper carpenter to come and try to fix this mess. Save yourself a lot of hassle and more importantly money by choosing any other company to get decking done.
