Impossible to Cancel - Use at your own risk!
The virtual assistant that I have used was fine overall although she was not necessarily pro-active and hence I consistently found it difficult to use the full hourly subscription each month, as I do not have the time to give instructions each month and have instead hired someone internally who is proactively supporting my needs.
As such, I wanted to cancel my subscription but was unable to do so in the platform. So I did not authorise the direct debit. When I emailed to cancel, the representative was very pushy and constantly trying to upsell/cross-sell. I had to ask them to simply cancel my subscription on 4 separate occasions before they finally obliged and cancelled. Even still, I noticed that the direct debit had already been taken from my account a day after I had blocked it, and when I asked for a refund they refused. Mind you I have not once used the entirety of the hours in my monthly subscription and have consistently overpaid vs. my usage. Daylight robbery!
I will also add that their contact automations are extremely aggressive, I receive phone calls, voicemails, text messages and emails all within a 1 minute window. It's total overkill and extremely jarring.
As it stands now, I am awaiting a resolution to my refund request—I will update this review if there are any changes.

Excellent Service - Until the Fraudulent Billing
At first, I had a fantastic experience with Time Etc. The staff were great and, after a little hiccup, I got the BEST personal assistant - Sand. I cannot express how wonderful she is! I have only fantastic things to say about the assistant I worked with. I would give her 100 stars if I could.
And if you asked me even two weeks ago, I would also have given Time Etc, in general, 5 stars with zero hesitation.
However - I have come to the conclusion that Time Etc uses unethical and deceptive billing practices. Part of the contract is that you can change the number of hours at any point - to take effect in the next month. They provide a way to do this through your portal.
Well, a several times I decreased the hours only to find that, a few days latter, the hours would have been mysteriously re-set to the higher amount again! At first I thought maybe it was my error or things did not go through when I hit submit. But it kept on happening - more than once. Then, I turned off auto-renew (I was going on vacation for a month) and still got billed. I had triple checked that the auto-renew was turned off before hand, because my cash flow would be tight due to travel expenses.
I am appalled at what I can only conclude is extremely unethical and dishonest behavior from such a well reviewed service. Despite the excellent personal assistants they have, I simply cannot recommend any platform that would do this to loyal clients.

At a time when work felt overwhelming and unmanageable, I found Time, etc. Not only did they ease my anxiety about bringing someone on board to assist me, but they gave me options and let me pick the person that worked best with me.
