This was my second experience purchasing from Time Resistance! This company is definitely a diamond in the rough on ETSY, a fantastic company with the entire customer service package. From their service response to the product quality. I’m extremely impressed with the ease for which they complete and ship orders from the shipping accuracy to shipping times (door to door) it’s unbelievable how fast I received my product. I guess you can say they’re time resistance. It’s obvious they have perfected the traits of a quality company, putting their customers first, in all areas of business! I want to reassure you that this is a natural characteristic of vegetable-tanned leather. Unlike most leather goods on the market, our products are not treated with Chromium or other chemical agents. Instead, they are crafted using an entirely natural tanning method based on plant tannins. This traditional process is more sustainable and much more expensive, but it also means the leather keeps its authentic, natural aroma.
For some customers, especially if it’s their first time with vegetable-tanned leather, the scent can feel stronger or unfamiliar at first. Over time, it gradually softens and fades, leaving only the warm, natural fragrance of high-quality leather — though we understand this transition can sometimes take longer with closed items like jewelry boxes.
We truly appreciate your patience and your understanding, and we hope that, as the scent continues to settle, you’ll be able to fully enjoy your jewelry box.

Needs improvements
Bought The Ambassador in December and thought it looks beautiful, it arrived quick just before Christmas, upon arrival the bag didn’t come in a dust bag, which I found unusual especially because it’s expensive, leather quality is amazing. The clasp for the shoulder strap was stiff but still functional. The inside cotton didn’t feel premium cotton and felt rough and wonder if it’s waterproof. I find the front pocket is really hard to get items out. Will use this as a general bag.
Is this worth the price, debatably no. But if you’re looking for an all rounder and functional. This is the bag.

Regarding the packaging: in the past, our bags were shipped with a certificate and a dust bag. Later, we transitioned to a more sustainable approach by introducing our sturdier black gift boxes, which protect the bag extremely well and offer a beautiful unboxing experience. Every bag today still includes its certificate and the black branded box.
That said, you are absolutely right — several customers mentioned that they miss the dust bag. We listened. We have now sourced an environmentally friendly and ethically produced fabric, and we are in the process of reintroducing dust bags to accompany all of our bags. As this transition takes time, not all shipments include dust bags yet, and we sincerely apologize if yours did not.
Regarding the lining: cotton itself is not waterproof, so to enhance durability and protect against stains, we apply a specialized coating to the fabric. This helps make the interior more resistant to moisture while keeping the natural feel of cotton. We are also working on further improvements to achieve an even better balance of durability, softness, and ease of cleaning.
