spammers and noting more...... I contacted timeshare exit team after I kept getting spam about them. Amanda said they dont send spam.. after leaving a review of my disgust with them, I got a message from ReedHein and assoc. concerned about me getting spam.... guess what ??? in my reply to her I saw the return e-mail address was ReedHein and assoc, same name on the bottom of endless spams !!! everyone hates spam !!! fight back !! leave reviews and never ever do business with any company that pays spammers to fill your in box with un- wanted crap.

We called Timeshare Exit Team and were pleased beyond our expectation. The advise was professional and accurate. Our counselor was very respectful and accurate. This is an honest, professional service that will meet your needs. Thank you so much Timeshare Exit Team!

I unfortunately bought a timeshare in Atlantic City in 1999 and have been trying to get rid of it shortly after that. I paid numerous companies for appraisals, listings, etc. The results were always the same, nothing. After hearing about Timeshare Exit Team on the radio for quite some time, I finally decided to try it. Although it was more money than I expected, I took a risk. I sat back and waited. It seemed as though every time I felt a little anxious about proceedings, I would get an update. Maybe Siri read my mind and told them! I am pleased and relieved to say, I am finally out of that timeshare and the money was well worth it. My advice, don’t ever buy a timeshare. But if you do, use Timeshare Exit Team to get out of it. I am still in the process of getting this completed. I never hear from the timeshare exit team.
And the only time they connected with me the last time was because I placed a complaint on trust pilot. If there’s anyway you guys could help me that would be great.

To update this review, Time Share Exit Team promised me a refund on September 23rd. Since then, I have written repeatedly and asked when this will be arriving. No refund yet. This company does NOT stand by its word.
Do not use Time Share Exit Team. I see many reviews with the exact same issue, but I do want to warn people against this company. I paid close to 5k three full years ago, signed a contract with their money back guarantee, that they would exit me from my timeshare. They say the average time out is 18 months, which is reasonable, and you will have to pay the timeshare fees and not use the points in the meantime, so they can transfer it. They do not honor their money back guarantee. As soon as you sign, they will become very hard to contact and you will not hear from them. After 18 months, they will start telling you that they are still trying but they have no exit in sight. They then tell you you can't get a refund, because you are in an 'exit strategy' despite the fact that they have no exit in sight, they are just pretending one of their 'partners', a transfer company, is on it. In the meantime they want you to keep paying the timeshare fees and not using the points.If you demand a refund, they act as if you said nothing and wish you a good day. If you ask in writing, they ignore your request and send a generic email saying they will tell you if they have anything to report. I finally had to tell them I no longer wanted to deal with them, 36 months (double the time they estimated) later, and revoke my contract, and now of course they say they will not refund me because I was in an 'exit strategy'. In this way, they claim you have voided their guarantee. This scam could continue for years while you pay. I recommend people deal with the timeshare themselves, or use anyone other than TimeShare Exit Team. Truly a very disappointing experience. I am now out the money I paid them, I still have the timeshare, and for years I paid fees while not using the property. Update - I finally got my refund from them.

We signed a contract with reedhein & Associates over 3 years ago for over $10K in agreement that they would successfully negotiate an exit for us or we would receive a full refund. We just exited the timeshare via Foreclosure, which we definitely could have done without their assistance. This is a section of the message we just received from reedhein:
"On behalf of the Timeshare Exit Team, I would like to congratulate you for officially exiting your timeshare! We have effectively terminated your interest in your timeshare and as a result, it has been cancelled." and goes on with the last line of the letter stating "Again, congratulations on a successful exit from your timeshare! We wish you all the best in the future!"

I am not sure about the rest of you but I would not deem a 3+ year process ending in a foreclosure that comes with a Judgment against us for the remaining cost on the mortgage an effective or successful exit. But according to reedhein they deem this as a successful exit and we are not eligible to receive a refund.

Many other reviews similar to ours, some identical from a exit perspective, but somehow no reviews below a 3 start appear on their website.

We were completely satisfied with the Timeshare Exit Team! We had been praying for a way to get out and they delivered. It did take a little longer than anticipated but we followed their advice and everything on our end was fine. It was just a waiting game and we are so thankful to say we are free and clear of our timeshare!!

The process started off wrong with misinformation by the sales person as to not having to pay the maintenance fees. I originally received regular communication repetitive in advising they were still working on the file. Then there was a promised statement of actions taken by the lawyer in a couple of weeks time that have never been received months later. I ultimately got out of the timeshare myself and now awaiting a decision from the powers that be for a refund as they were unable to obtain my exit. They keep advising that it is being looked at and a decision pending yet that has been several months now. They continue to ignore my emails and phoning seems to have been of little use. I advised that I would wait , it has been 6 weeks since I last heard from them, till Aug 13th for a replay and yet again promises for action have not taken place. They may have some successes but they definitively have failed me!! I would recommend caution as lots of promises that are undelivered!!

Extremely disappointed. I feel like we were duped AGAIN. Over 3 years and no valid resolution. Money back guarantee is scam.

My ex husband and I secured Reed Hein back in 2016 to exit out of our timeshare. We were told to stop paying the maintenance fees and mortgage and not engage with the calls from the resort.

Our timeshare went to collections and we now have a settlement agreement on the table for almost $5000 MORE than when we hired the TimeShare Exit Team.

According to the Timeshare Exit Team, this is a "valid" exit option and so the money back guarantee does not apply.

I could have not paid the resort, gone into collections and gotten a settlement agreement on my own WITHOUT paying the Timeshare Exit Team almost $7000.

So their "valid exit plan" is to have you go into collections, settle for thousands of dollars more than you came in with AND also pay them almost 7 grand.

Save your money since according to them, that ^^^ is a valid exit option.

They did not get me exited from my timeshare as promised. And I deserve my money back.

***Edited 8.13.19 - received reply from Exit TimeShare Marketing Team to make it appear that they wanted to help me resolve this issue. But they never replied to my email or attempted to find out what was going on.

After much research as well as money for fees, I was ready to get started with Timeshare Exit Team. My initial meeting was very helpful in understanding the process. I was initially told, because I met a specific criteria, my process would be much quicker than most; although a guarantee couldn’t be made; very good possibility the exit would take no more than 7 months. Very encouraging news on the front end; however, that was not the case. It would seem I was given empty promises of staff walking beside me and keeping me updated. No returned calls, emails, updates etc. To the point, I thought I wasted a good amount of upfront fees (another selling point). The process ending up taking 21 months to complete and ended up costing me 2 more years of fees. Disappointing needless to say. Although the initial contact was less than poor, towards the end, the communication started opening up more. It helped to soften the ugly first part. Timeshare Exit Team - I would highly recommend revamping the ‘front end’ process; customer service was more than lacking.

Beyond frustrated!!! We started this process in May 2017 and still no results. The company changed their strategy with our time share to get a faster result - that was almost a year ago. There is little to no proactive follow up. I did not use most of my points last year because they advised me it would be more valuable to a potential buyer. 2018 came and went - no buyer. We are now half through 2019 and still no results. How many years do I have to keep forgoing the use of my points in hopes of some mythical result.
The managers are nice when I finally get to speak with one but overall - very expensive fees with no results.

On Dec. 21st, 2017, I was contacted by Lisa regarding being qualified for transferring my timeshare to a company dealing in timeshare transfers. She quoted a cost of $925 to complete the transfer (my previous post incorrectly listed the price as $995). I jumped at the chance since I had already waited more than two years with no results. The process was supposed to take 6-9 months. On June 14th, 2019 (18 months later) I received the following email:

"Timeshare Exit Team™ has determined that the current exit strategy for your timeshare is not moving as quickly as we anticipated it would. We have proactively transitioned your case into another avenue and will keep you apprised of any needs or updates. The outside legal partner your file has been reassigned to is Ardent Law and they will help facilitate your timeshare exit."

Since the transfer was never completed, I requested a refund of $925 because the services I paid for were not received. Naturally, my requests were completely ignored. It's difficult to believe that this is a legitimate company when they charge in advance and then never deliver as promised. Next month will be 3 years since this nightmare started.

This company came highly recommended. They lived up to the recommendations we were given. Throughout the process everyone we dealt with was very professional and most importantly, they did what they said they were going to do. Free at last! Thank you very much for successfully getting us out of our contract.

This company is legitimate! Trust them! My husband and I are finally free from a timeshare that we were financially stressed with! My prayers to God were answered by this company.
The representative that helped us and the entire team were kind and professional. The fee for contract release was worth every penny! Again trust them to assist you and be patient. This company is a blessing!

We were not able to use our timeshare for awhile due to health & family issues. Every few years the time share would bill us for remodeling - something we had no say over. Approaching retirement, I knew we needed to get out of this time share. Long term we would have spent much more money holding onto the timeshare than to get out of it. On a regular basis, our Timeshare Exit team member kept us informed about the process. We have received word & written document - we are officially clear of our obligation to the timeshare company!

I owned 2 timeshares, my own from 1994 – an oceanfront studio, and the second, a 1 BR oceanfront my friend and I bought together in about 1997. We used them for several years, often trying to trade out with RCI to go to other places. We were successful in trading out maybe 4 times then we could never get where we wanted or when. The maintenance fees kept going up and we were assessed ALOT of $$ the year a hurricane came through in 2001 and knocked out a large part of the resort. The studio oceanfront was never rebuilt - but still I paid for it every year. When going to the resort after the storm - I was given a 1 BR to stay in for the week. When the resort offered to take some units back - I immediately put mine up for return. No $$ from the resort - just freedom. Even though NO STUDIO EXISTED ANYMORE - they did NOT take back that unit.
Eventually we rarely used it, so in despair at the" 99 year" contract and the inability to will them back to the resort by contract, so our families wouldn't inherit this boondoggle, AND after several unsuccessful attempts to sell them on the market, we heard about the Timeshare Exit Team. We had a long conversation in May 2017, asked MANY questions and signed on. Chris was very open with us - said might take 1 yr to 18 or more months, but it would be accomplished. And it is expensive - unless you compare the years of maintenance fees ahead.
And - as of May 2019 - we are free of both timeshares. There were many changes of contact people on the Team through the 2 years, and the firm even moved at one point, but we always heard from them when action was taken or we emailed them for info. It required much work on my part to find all info concerning purchases, list all maintenance fees through the years, things we were told when buying the resorts that turned out not to be true, etc. When the resort started stonewalling the lawyers and telling them that we had all the documentation stating our release from the contracts, when I had heard NOTHING from the resort since May 2018 -- I did make my first contact with the resort, per OK of attorneys, in order to gain assurance, and paperwork from the resort, that the timeshares were no longer owned by me or my friend.
So all worked out and we are both relieved, and can travel cheaper now to many places than when we had the timeshares and were returning to the same place.

36 months and nothing for me and my wife’s exit! Get another company. They have not done their job.
