Every time I have received a email about a scam, it happens to me within a couple of days. Thank you for keeping me inform so I'm aware of what the scammers are up to.

I love TotalScam!! Anytime there is a new scheme going around I get an email alert that gives me some information. Including the "name" of the scam and the base operation location, who it is affecting most, why I should be on the look out for it and most importantly a detailed description of how the scammers run their game. I'm talking a step by step illustration of how the whole thing plays out!! Awesome! It has saved me and my mother a couple times. If I had TotalScam! alerts before I probably could have avoided getting my computer IP address hacked by scammers :( So needless to say I am overjoyed that I receive my TotalScam! email alerts to keep up to date with all the schemes going on in this messed up world. I feel like I have a cyberspace body guard! Thank you TotalScam! you guys are the best!!

with so many scams becoming prevalent on the internet, knowing which Scam Reporting sites to trust is also a challenge. So far, TotalScam seems legitimate. My only complaint is that they always include a solicitation to buy a scam protection application add-on.

In the past I was stupid and fell for a Scam that is a Technitian Co. that tells you your computer has been Hacked and they need to have access to your computer so they can fi the harm that has been done! Needless to say they are the HARM! They convince you they will fix every thing and install an expensive program with a Lifetime Guarantee! This is is one of the WORST SCAMS EVER! They have gotten into into your computer and have all your information!!!!! PLUS you are asked to mail them a check for a huge amount of money! To make a long story short, Thank you Total Scam for opening our eyes to these LOW LIFE Scammers!!!!!

This website has prevented me from being scammed and confirmed a scam that I was involved with.

I received in the mail, in an envelope 11x14 a check for $2850.00 with a letter stating I have been approved to get stickers for Breyers on my car. To please deposit the check right away and text them. Next, withdraw $2000 to be paid to the people putting the stickers on the car and to keep the $850.00 2 weeks of $400.00 and the $50.00 I forget why. The letter had bogus letterhead, Breyers not saying ice cream or inc. or anything. The wording was less than par and you could see the check was phoney too. That is a lot of money and some poor guy may fall for it!! Here we are getting our stimulus and they are preying on folks. I haven't done anything yet with it but i am going to write or call Breyers to advise them of their name being used and probably the BBB and FTC.

The number of phone and eMail scams I have been getting lately is just ridiculous. It seems like almost every single day, I am filing a report with the FTC. And the scammers are getting braver and braver. There's the employment scams, ransomware scams, romance scams, and the list goes on and on. And these people will tell you they have taken control of your operating system and even say they have been recording your moves and will send their videos they supposedly have of you to everyone in your eMail contact list unless you send them $xxx. (various dollar amounts).

It’s very helpful. In fact just last week I had a email from the Geek squad saying a renewal on my subscription. (Knowing I don’t have one) But it went on to say you need to call us and tell us to verify your new subscription for $149.00 a month for four more years. So I called them. The first thing I noticed was the strong Med eastern accent that and all the other people in the room asking why people keep hanging up on them? Next thing was he wanted me to download an application to access my phone? At that point I asked him what the subscription was for? He answered for my geek squad account, he answered. I asked him again for what product. So to make a long story short. If it’s not for the emails and there content I would be a victim again! So I thank you 150% for the help!

I love this new company! I have them to thank for informing me about a job I was inquiring about but wasn’t sure. So I looked up this scam identifying company, “Total Scam”, and they verified my worst fears and they totally helped me avoid being scammed. I get the weekly or bi-weekly email with scam updates. We need this company, we need to donate anything we can to keep this company going. Keep up the good work. I’m scam free! Love u guys!

I am very pleased with TotalScam. Whenever I receive an email from them, I stop what I am doing to read the entire email and then notify family and friends. TotalScam helps to keep me in the know on current and new scams,

It's good to be informed on some of the latest scams out there that threaten our daily lives. There are so many frauds in a capitalist economy, someone always eager and willing to take advantage of human's inherent trust in others. It's a sad commentary on society we live in.

After reading all the variety of scams, I installed a remote-controlled answering machine on my phone. I do not ever answer the phone unless I recognize the caller. I average three – four unsolicited phone calls every day that leave no message because I do not personally answer the call. There are calls from Amazon and other legitimate businesses that claim fraudulent use of my Amazon account or my capital one account, but I always check online and these turn out to be scams. I also receive many spam emails that supposedly are bills for items ordered through Amazon or other reputable companies. I have contacted Amazon and other companies about these fraudulent bills, and they have assured me that any bill that comes as spam is not valid and should be reported. Keep up the good work of sharing information to keep from getting ripped off.

They email me with current scams going around, so I always know what to watch out for. You aren't always on guard 24/7, so it's nice to get a heads-up on certain trends

Absolutely fantastic that someone is finally using their brain power for good with a computer instead of trying to scam people out of their hard earned money. If more were like these folks I wouldn't have to hesitate every time i turn on my computer to google something. Keep up the good work!
