The whole process went so smoothly. I was contacted by a case administrator, who learned more about my specific needs, and then found a researcher that specialized in eastern Canadian genealogy. The researcher did a ton of work, finding one and possibly two generations back, and names of significant places in the lives of my ancestors. The information was presented to me in a very detailed and easy to follow format, with a summary that included next steps for digging deeper. It was beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Trace to help one turn a family tree dead end into a new road of discovery!

My first experience with a professional researcher resulted in a satisfied customer
Personal contact at the beginning was fundamental, as the experienced customer contact patiently and clearly answered all questions, no easy task as I had little experience in geneaology research. Telephone meetings were always puntual as scheduled and effective.
The online portal was an easy to use tool throughout the project.
The overall project addressed all agreed upon topics and was punctually delivered.
I thought the translations of foreign language records could have been more complete. And a small minority of the records may have been scanned in too low resolution for my satisfaction, but most salient points were legible. And there were a few consecutive months with no updates that started to make me nervous nothing at all would be revealed, a possibility alluded to in the precontractual documents, but fortunately all worked out well at the end.

We want to clarify that course certificates are typically issued on the Monday following a course’s completion and can take up to a week to prepare. In your case, we received your email on a Friday afternoon, just one day after you completed the course. Understanding that you needed your certificate urgently, a team member came in on Saturday to prepare and send it to you — just two days after completion.
We always strive to support our learners in a timely and thoughtful way, and we regret that this experience gave a different impression. Your feedback is invaluable, and we’ll continue to improve how we communicate these timelines up front to avoid future misunderstandings.

I paid this company $2100 to obtain some documents so I could move forward with getting my dual citizenship. It has been over 4 years of lies and scam and to date I still have not received any documentation or a report that I contracted with thm. It is beyond me how this site has 4.5 stars

The process of asking for help and responding to the researchers was easy. They were respectful and helpful when they asked questions about my goal. I have learned SO much in these courses!
I have now taken three courses offered by Trace, and each one has been extremely educational. Wonderful Experience
I provided Trace with the information I had about my family and they did the rest. Prior to connecting with Trace, I was able to find information about my grandfather's side of the family, but very little about my grandmother's side of the family. Trace provided more information about both sides of my family than I hoped for.
