Absolutely useless!! Purchase a brand new M3 with trackstar installed only to find I had to wait for a link to be sent for me to pay the subscription - having done this it wanted me to wait whilst the dealership would confirm when it was going to be fitted (but it already was fitted!). to cut a long story short after about 3 weeks I received an abrupt email saying it was now working - goodness knows what would have happened if my car was stolen in those 3 weeks as the system was a requirement for the insurance!!
I strongly recommend finding an alternative!!!
Crap system, terrible to get help on the 'phone. At least 22 text alerts and 3 phone calls from them to tell me my car has been stolen ( it WAS NOT ! )Have cancelled subscription and installing a decent one

This is a rating for the customer support staff , this is the team @ Trackstar which I believe is distinct from staff at a 24/7 call desk that you call if your vehicle is stolen.
The prompt for this review is Helen , and it’s is only down to Helen helping me on three occasions recently that I intend to renew my subscription. This should be recognised by Trackstar.
The product is okay , it wasn’t my first choice but I needed a manufacturer’s approved product for my warranty.
However , unlike other tech products I have owned when things go wrong support deal with it. Promptly. Politely. And they talk plain English instead of jargon.
The tracker wasn’t updating , Helen solves it immediately and follows up with a courtesy call. I need some data logs , Helen advises where to get them.
And this is the pattern over the three years.

I appreciate how important it is for reviews to be open, honest and transparent. Therefore, it is with great pleasure that I can confirm, that Trackstar customer services is exceptional. I had an issue that needed to be addressed, and within 24 hours (approx) not only was my concern attended too, it was solved laudably.
I spoke with Eshan Ali and Kerry Corbette, and without a shadow of doubt, the level of care, professionalism and attention to detail provided by these agents, quite frankly, was exceptional. I salute them both!
Indeed, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Trackstar. The level of protection is awesome, and the subscription cost is value for money, and especially in light of the fact that my insurance premium dropped, thereby covering almost 70% of the 3 years subscription to Trackstar.
If you know deep down that your car is vulnerable to thieves, then I would highly recommend you consider Trackstar for your peace of mind.

Not impressed.
Had a tracker fitted for a few years but never been able to access the App or on-line system.
Reset my password and then had temporary passwords sent to me, yet still unable to login
The security system is poor. It has multiple choice questions when you receive an alert, so if the thief knows your postcode or your surname, then say goodbye to your car. Not secure at all.

Once I got through to Ehsan he was very good at sorting the sync problem for us and checked that the system was fully functional.

Terrible after sales service . .
You cannot get a refund or part refund even after a month of you sell your car with the system and want to cancel for part refund
No response to emails to customer service, I’ve been totally ignored and no customer services number to call either
When installing and signing up, no problem very interested and helpful to take your money, but after that no after sales customer service
Shocking , do not buy their services
If you’ve an issue you’re on your own
Very, very disappointed indeed
Would not recommend at sll
Very helpful in sorting the issue But took a very ling time to grt to speak to someone which has lowered the score

First time user of the product and it was pretty simple to reactivate and start the service again. However the app is pretty poor and takes much too long to update where the actual vehicle is. Needs to be fixed urgently, otherwise how do you track my car in real time ??

Stupid me forgot to take the tag with me and this triggered some alerts - came in by text and email, which was great. I called Trackstar to confirm all was good and spoke to a really helpful person - so all round it was a great experience.
Helen was so helpful. I had an issue registering my tracking device. She took all the particular details from myself and found out that there was a problem. She said that they would have to contact the manufacture and get back to me the next day. The following day Helen phone me and the vehicle manufacture gave her the details to pair up the trackstar devise to the vehicle. Once I registered and set up the account Helen talked me through the next procedure and it was all set up.
It was nice to talk to someone about my issue and Helen reassured me that it would be fixed. Thankyou Helen for all you have done for me.
