Policy with Paying too much (Ergo) for a short city break with my granddaughter . The day after arrival she took ill although not an emergency (flue type of symptoms) was not up for sight seeing break by evening I decided to ring the insurance as I was covered for curtailment they were not helpfull as she was not insured by them. I booked 2 flights home for the next morning Saturday after a Covid test just in case it showed positive. Not able to go to GP it was case of bed and liquids and isolation.after sending all evidence of return and full explanation to claims the claim was refused. I considerd the policy not fit purpose as it did include curtailment due to companion reasons. I am very disappointed in the whole attitude and decision given she could not get GP appt or needed to go and not feeling well wait for hours in A&E and spread it round it was a matter of bed rest and isolation. Would not recommend this company.to make it worse it was a one off break for her good A level results and last year at school.

I am really disappointed with Barclays Travel Insurance.
June 2024. I booked a cruise on Scenic Cruises.
June 2024. I took out and paid for travel insurance with Barclays.
August 2024. I was diagnosed with cancer.
August 2024. I claimed against the Barclays travel insurance. I provided all relevant documentation.
August 2024. My claim for 600 pounds was rejected. The reason being that a routine blood test in April 2024 showed slight anemia. I had not reported this to Barclays.
I am now in a position of having no possibility of claiming from a Travel Insurance Policy of which I am tied into a monthly premium.

Agents (Iman, Jefs and Douglas of All Clear insurance answered phone promptly on 23 and 24 July and were much easier to do business with than another leading provider

"I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from TD travel insurance through Global Excel Management Inc. The staff and adjusters displayed a lack of care and concern for their customers. After submitting my claim, I was treated poorly and felt like an adversary. Despite numerous attempts to contact them, I was met with answering machines and unreturned calls. Even escalating my concerns through social media and higher authorities yielded no response or action.

The claims process took an inordinate amount of time, causing undue stress and trouble for me and likely other customers. The managers and staff, from top to bottom, seemed unaccountable and unresponsive. The adjusters were rude and showed no compassion, making empty promises with no intention of keeping them. I feel that customers' rights are not respected or valued by this company."

It's easy to use their site. As someone with specific medical conditions under a group insurance plan, I was initially apprehensive about potential expenses. However, I'm highly satisfied with the comprehensive coverage provided, including medical aspects, lost property, and cancellations. What's notable is that fellow group members without medical issues secured cost-effective coverage. Will be using this company in future
