Horrible Horrible Horrible buyer beware. This company should be shut down 👎. Went for a presentation there and the tactics used were very aggressive and disrespectful. Will never do a presentation again. They start off pleasant at first then they turn like a rattlesnake when you say no. They will meet the wrong person one of these days. There's a saying in my country monkey 🐒 does know which tree to climb. Keep up those tactics and see how far you reach. SHUT DOWN THIS SCAM COMPANY...

I recently bought timeshare from TLG.
My contact was Paula, who at all times was friendly and professional, keeping me informed throughout the process. Based on my experience, I can fully recommend this company.

Travel and leisure completed the sale of my timeshare. They went above and beyond to get this done . When I was at a loss as to how to continue they helped me through it . I cannot thank them enough . A trusted company , no doubt about that ! Their Legal Dept handled all the details and a special thankyou to all !! ... what a team !!!

Please do not waste your money in the hope Travel & Leisure will sell your timeshare, I parted with a lot of money only for my timeshare to be sold by another Company who charged me ‘0’ I have been in contact with Travel & Leisure for around 12 months, I had to stop dealing with their CEO as her attitude and professionalism was non-existent, she was rude and intimidating. I was hoping for a refund as my timeshare was sold by another Company but nothing so far, I’m sure they will respond covering their backs with a lot of waffle, please please do not part with your hard earnt money, they, especially CEO are a disgrace

Absolutely terrible company. In the 6 months since I’ve joined I’ve received 2 offers. They don’t care about you, just your money. Do not fall for this scam

Excellent company. Very professional and staff courteous and extremely helpful. This is the second time we have purchased through them and would most certainly use them again either to buy or sell a timeshare again in the future. Highly recommend.

Referred as « authorized reseller » for Diamond Resorts. After a first 6 months where absolutely nothing happened for a fee of 425 £, contact with employee was far from nice (agressive, almost putting blame on me for not being myself « active » (???)).
Nevertheless I did a second attempt of 6 months (another 375£). Absolutely nothing happened. Lowered the price 2 times, and my last request to put the sales prices to close to nothing was not even implemented.
Don’t expect anything apart from them, apart from taking your money.

In June 2024, we paid Travel & Leisure £350 to help sell our timeshare. We understood it did not guarantee a sale. About 6 months later, they told me the resale market was beginning to pick up and we paid a further £150. We really loved the resort but the lodge no longer suited our needs. We purchased it about 25 years ago when our 3 children were young. They are all in their 30s now and we no longer need a 2-bedroom (sleeps 6) lodge. Travel & Leisure advertised it at £500 (Their advised price. We would have happily given it away for free). When our agreement ended 12 months later, our timeshare had not been sold. We were disappointed but were ok with that. We always knew it was a gamble.
However, we looked on their website, only to see they were trying to sell a similar timeshare for £1,399. Were the owners of this property aware that Travel & Leisure couldn't sell our property for £500? In my opinion, it would be unfair to take £350 from the owner to try to sell the second, far more expensive property. Before writing this review I contacted Travel & Leisure about this situation.
They tried to argue that the two properties were not comparable. They were both 2-bedroom lodges on the same resort. Ours was a floating peak time unit, the other was fixed at week 34. Ours gave flexibility over all school holidays, the other was a fixed week in August. In my opinion. ours was worth more due to flexibility, Travel & Leisure believed the other unit was worth nearly 3 times more, their argument being that some people can't get a booking at their preferred time. In the 25 years of using our property, we never failed to get the week we requested.
As I said, they made no guarantees but if I was the second seller I would not be paying them to advertise the property when they couldn't sell a similar property they already had on their books. My advice to any future seller is ASK WHAT PROPERTIES THEY HAVE ADVERTISED (NOT SOLD) AT SIMILAR RESORTS RECENTLY. HAVE THERE BEEN ANY THEY HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO SELL.

We can agree there was never a guarantee you would be able to sell our timeshare; I stated that in my first paragraph.
We can agree to disagree about the value of fixed time v floating time. I can only speak on my own experience. In 20+ years of owning at Pine Lake we have ALWAYS been able to book the week of our choice; even during 2021 when everyone was using their home resort due to Covid. I cannot speak about your experience with other resorts.

This was not an unnecessary review. Trustpilot is for people to give open and honest reviews, good and bad. My review is my opinion, and I will stand by it.

However, I take exception to your comment, “the fact you threatened to leave it unless we sold your timeshare, this really didn't come as a surprise.” This is an absolute lie. I told you of my disappointment in your service in my email 28/08/2025. “Before I leave an unsatisfactory review on Trust Pilot, I would like to give you the chance to reply”. I did this because so many one-star reviews are met with a response of ‘I wish you had discussed this with us first’. Where is my threat? THREAT = state one's intention to take hostile action against (someone) in retribution for something done or not done. Where did I say I would leave a bad review if you didn’t sell our timeshare? I was planning to leave you an unsatisfactory review but wanted to give you the courtesy of a chance to respond first. Your statement is a lie. I won’t ask for you to withdraw it or apologise. I will just leave it here for people to draw their own conclusions about your company.

Last October I paid £399 for this company to sell my timeshare. They email you advising they have someone interested in buying. Do you hear from them again ? Only to tell you the deal fell through.
As the interested party didn’t get back to them.
If I wanted to continue with their advertising would need to pay again.
When they had said it had fallen through I asked about renting my week.
I paid £99 for the renal this was supposedly a good deal as I had paid for selling, never ever heard about a rental.
I feel an utter fool paying this co called company my hard earned money. Me a pensioner who wanted out of paying yearly fees.
I would advise anyone looking to use this company STAY AWAY - SCAM AT THE WORST FROM A COMPANY WITH NO SCRUPLES.
You’ve just answered this and you’re lying when did you advise me that you had an interested party for the rental. No one got in touch with me. You have my number so why don’t you get in touch with me. Also I NEVER gave you any incorrect details. Again you are lying.

18/10/24 received contact form. Advert now live. Also received description and will be added today.
22/10/24 Images added
11/12/24 written to advise advert is currently gauging a lot of interest and has attracted significant number of views which has resulted in some good enquiries. This excellent news.
You then say this is still early days etc. contact only when definite offer received and enclose helpline number.
5/2/25 First email since 11/12/24 Again saying advert is continuing to generate significant more views in both tentative and series enquiries. Headed in the right direction. Still working hard and again enclose your helpline number. You then say unfortunately unable to discuss this by email. Why?

2/4/25 Writing to advise the resale of holiday resort Regretfully despite the very successful advertising campaign and best efforts a potential purchaser has not made an offer.
This is the surprise surprise bit ADVERTISING PERIOD IS DUE TO EXPIRE SOON. Then you go on to say it will be giving priority etc to a supervisor who will look over the past 5/6 months AND CONTACT ME IN DUE COURSE AND REMEMBER HELPLINE.
When I called I was told I would have to pay for the advertising again. I said I wasn’t paying anymore. In all the emails THE RENTAL WAS NEVER DISCUSSED AND THE 2/4/25 was the last time I heard from this company.
I then decided to just book my 2 weeks I had banked

We, and a number of our friends, have used Travel and Leisure, over the past 10 years or so - both to buy and sell timeshare weeks. We have had first class service always and we are delighted to have found such a trustworthy company within a field which was not well known to us. We would recommend them unreservedly; we would use no one else.

What made this experience easy was the professionalism of the staff at all times. There was always somebody to talk to.

Attempted to rent out our timeshare through this company. Paid an up-front advertising fee, but have never seen an advert anywhere other than their own website. I'm told that it is also advertised on eBay, but when I've looked there are no properties listed in my country. Still 7 months to go until the timeshare needs to be occupied, so fingers crossed that they can find a tenant before then.

Selling our timeshare through Travel & Leisure group was a dream it was so easy they have handled 2 sales for us and kept us informed right through the process and received the money into our bank account no problems.

Pretty hopeless, really.

They sound confident but can't seem to sell anything. They repeatedly asked us for "refundable advertising fees" but failed to find any potential buyers for our timeshare. Each time they asked for more fees, they promised to do better. But didn't.

It turned out that the advertising fee was their actual fee so we paid far too much and never got any interest. Avoid!

Your website clearly states you're a timeshare company and you are the same company as the branch in the US. I know the branding and the logo.

answer to your reply: I was in Las Vegas at the time from the UK. Off course you dont know who I am. I know who you are though unfortunately. Dealt with Hillary I think at the New York new York and signed up for the timeshare talks there for the free play which was only in 24$ denominations which you dont tell us about and the prepaid tax refund of $25 only had 20 on it.

complete waste of time - the whole thing

The timeshare talk was at the WorldMark south Las Vegas blvd. But booked with Travel and Leisure timeshare desk. Don't treat us with your typical contempt ... we know YOU are not WorldMark but you are TRAVEL+LEISURE which is a global outfit trying to trick people into timeshare purchases.

Your company is a timeshare company as it says on your company type. I know what you do and have been scammed by you... thankfully I didn't buy the timeshare.

I know you but off course you dont know me and you have NOT tried to contact me either - another lie which is coming across as quite the norm with these things.

And you need to read the review with me attention to detail.

Sale of timeshare was quick, easy and efficient. Money was paid directly into our bank account. Paperwork simple and they dealt with everything for us.

We have sold our two weeks in Sahara Sunset after having been contacted by Martina Veya end of August 2024. Since then, all went well, very effectively and smoothly.
All our questions and concerns have been answered very professionally.
We are extremely satisfied with the service we have been provided.
