The first time I made an appointment…
The first time I made an appointment online and had an email confirmation for that time. They texted me to confirm the appointment the day before and made it 30 minutes earlier. I phoned three times to try and resolve they didn’t respond. I turned up at the original time as they say they had my money and say they charge you if you don’t cancel 48 hours in advance. I paid full price for a 20 minute appointment.
The second appointment I waited for thirty minutes, the receptionist did not explain that they were running late and left me to wait.
The third appointment again I waited for 15 minutes and did leave a negative Google review as a result. I was frustrated and felt they didn’t value me as a customer.
Queue emails from the angry owner explaining that medical appointments run late so suck it up. And that they should’ve apologies more profusely, despite not apologising at all.
The actual podiatrist is great, maybe I’ve just been unlucky but it is not a customer friendly organisation. A review is an opportunity to fix things, but they seem to have no interest in doing so, which is a shame.
