Email went down on the 4th July for no known reason, so I've had no client contact and no financial income. Can no longer log in to Tsohost portal or cpanel . I tried to recover account with proof of ownership but sends back a generic not accepted message. There is no Phone support and the email support is basic when it actually functions.

Service has gone to the wall!!!!
Service and speed of TSOHOST have been getting progressively worse over the last few years. If they are updating software or migrating you, be guaranteed something will go wrong EVERY time! The current site I have with them has been down for 2 weeks!!! Live chat is rarely live, and the hours short, whereas most other hosting companies are 24/7. Tickets are ignored. We will be moving the site on the next renewal as I have moved 7 already! This current migration has obviously gone disastrously wrong, and refunds and compensation need to be issued! Bring back 'Namehog', the original owners of this company - they were AWESOME!!!!
Service is absolutely awful :(
Since they have stopped telephone support the service has become absolutely terrible. I have had so many issues - from their servers changing and having to configure all of my emails (with no warning, had to find out what was wrong ourselves). They have changed DNS files that have stopped emails working, and I have waited 5 days and still no response to my last ticket. I would recommend you stay away for your own sanity. The low cost just isnt worth it :(

Customer service & security are very poor
I'm another customer of over 10 years and I would advise anyone thinking of using TSO to STAY AWAY. Look at the Google Reviews (not TSO's) They have been bought out by other companies over the years and their customer service is now appaling (3 Hour waits and you have to use Chat - no phone!). They have also migrated my account to their new platform and ended up releasing 20+ valuable domains I owned, claiming I hadn't renewed them, even though they weren't due to expire for another year. Others were not auto renewed as they had been in previous months. They refuse to accept any responsibility or resolution and hide behind their chat windows. I suspect they have hundreds of customers who have experienced the same issues BUT are being told it is their fault. Write your reviews ladies and gents if you've experienced similar issues!
The migration has also killed some of the self serve web hosting functionality I had that worked great for my websites. I am now told I have to now be a techie wizard to make changes to file structures and config files because they wont help, and the old system has been removed....
I then get malicious code warnings from my firewalls from their servers! From other reviews I've read, it looks like I am not alone!
........oh, and by the way, they've almost doubled the annual hosting package price because they've migrated my account to their new service (less functions and more cost).
Really sad this company has become so poor. It was good but they've lost their way and forgotten they are in the customer service, security and trust business! Shambles. Go elsewhere and save yourself a lot of pain and wasted hours. I don;t normally write reviews but these guys needs to own their absoutely appalling actions and remember customers aren't dumb and will share their experiences when it gets this bad!

How do I recover my account without phone or live chat support
I have been with TSO Host for years and support has been good upto now.
But the present situation without phone support or live chat is terrible.
I have, like others here lost my ability to login to email since 3rd July and cant reset my password either.
Also I can't login to TSOhost so I cant raise a ticket?
I registered another email account so I could raise a ticket on that highlighting my account issue but that ticket remains un-replied.
Can you help, I run a business too?

Good uptime, but customer support is patchy
This used to be a decent enough hosting company, and the hosting is reliable with few outages. That's the good points. The bad - now support is non-existent. They claim to offer Live Chat during UK office hours, but it is never available. Support tickets aren't answered for a week, the person who finally answers clearly hasn't looked at the issue, and then it's back to another week waiting for a reply. Still waiting!
Yes, they're in the process of switching servers, and that's a lot of work. But somehow my site has been migrated TWICE, despite me raising a support ticket asking them not to do this, and I'm being billed twice. I am concerned a duplication could also cause issues with the functioning of my site. But it is impossible to get any answers.
Edited 18-7-2024 The problem is now resolved (I hope!) and I have upgraded my review score from 1 to 3. But it was only fixed after a lot of grief and hassle, which would have been completely avoided if live chat was available during UK office hours as it's supposed to be or if my original support ticket had been answered sooner than a week. It's not as if I expected instant answers. An intelligent response from someone who'd actually looked properly at the problem within five days would have been good enough.

Absolutely unacceptable!
Absolutely unacceptable - we're a school and can't access our account with TSHost and can't log in to emails - we can't make any contact whatsoever with anyone! We can't get a ticket as we can't log in!!! I've emailed support on my personal email and still had no reply. DISGRACEFUL!! Doesn't even merit one star but there's no option to rate this as a nil - which is what it is worth.

Upgrade that was a Port that became a Melt-down
I am a 3rd sector volunteer. I'm also an IT pro of 44 years standing. We have been a user of TSOHost (now owned by GoDaddy) for over 10 years. It started as good. That was why we selected the service - it was handed over to us by another networking pro who had previously been managing for us. Few problems but that's what happens with netty stuff.
Last Thursday in their wisdom TSOHost performed an "upgrade" and everything failed. Not so much an upgrade as a port. To the US it seems... No e-mail. No pre-fixed URL links work. Our customer database is toast. Data loss: GDPR issue. Data in the US without lawful authority? GDPR issue. Mailing lists erased: GDPR issue. All the e-mail accounts were dead: GDPR issue. . No one could do any work Friday and it took some time to work out what to do - the "FAQ" was inaccurate and useless. Some of the data that TSOHost didn't port: we have only just paid for the SSL certificate for the domain.
Trouble ticket response? Not a chance. I spent all day including two hours on the on-line chat (no phone support any more) that failed to produce a solution and all they did was shrug. No apology. No offer to fix. No compo for my time (I had a different job to go to that I couldn't do). When I demanded the contacts of the two names (one of whom is the CEO - off Companies House) to write a formal complaint the call handler didn't know who I meant. "Your boss". She said "we don't know how to do that".
We are only now just recovering ("in spite of, not because of"...) .
.. so I sent the parent (GoDaddy - specifically the head of Legal Services at GoDaddy in Tempe) an extremely long breakdown of the issues including the GDPR breaches. Two days on and absolute silence.
So conclusion: GoDaddy are a bunch of complete charlatans.
Complete s**t show. Porting out coming....

Postscript 10-07-2024: GoDaddy asked for "further information" (really?) (of the most basic in nature, noting that the information was contained in the 3-page letter I sent to legal (at) godaddy.com, privacy (at) godaddy.com and odpo (at) godaddy.com). Get with the programme....
Postscript 11-07-2024: GoDaddy claim "not our problem - wrong company". Obviously not in touch with the nuances of GDPR.

Used to be superb customer service: now as bad as the rest
So, TSO used to have a phone line for support. They were excellent: quick to answer and knowledgeable.
Now it's tickets or webchat (2 people........) Recently TSO conducted a migration which basically screwed up many peoples mail and webmail (you needed to be a techie to fix the problems they created).
My email remains broken and can I get in contact with anyone?
For a premium price, TSO is now 3rd rate service.

Been with TSO host for a few years
Been with TSO host for a few years. Started out really good and had great support. Something has happened over the last 18 months or so though... The support is non-existent, you can't get an answer or speak to anyone, whether that be on the phone or on the "live chat" - There is nothing now, you wait for an hour for someone to get on the live chat and they do not do a thing to help. I cannot wait to get away from TSO host, I wish I could but I can't transfer my domains away because they keep failing to be transferred out with no explanation or help to get it done. Awful company now STAY AWAY if you own an agency.

NO telephone support, live chat has been disabled, and despite opening two tickets, absolutely no response. Clearly a company in its death throes, avoid at all cost. No effective way to contact TSO when things go wrong
I use TSOHost for my business and personal emails.
All my emails have stopped working. There is no way to phone for support - all phone numbers have been removed from their pages.
TSOHost's preferred means of contact is via live chat - as they say it is better than raising a ticket. Unfortunately they have also removed that service (temporarily I hope).
You can raise a ticket but there is no way of knowing if it has been seen, and indeed all you can do is keep logging in to check if someone has responded.
The people are great - I am just concerned that I am paying for a service, which is dead and which I have no effective way to get an update on.

No emails, and no support. HELP
I am not receiving emails and can't get the issue resolved.
I opened a ticket, but there has been no response. Live Chat is not available, even though it is supposed to be online between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and yes, I have accepted cookies.
TSOHost used to be a very professional company, but corners have been cut to such a degree that I can only assume this is now a profiteering exercise, prioritizing profits over customer service.
If anyone at TSOHost is under any illusion that this is not the case, then just pretend to be a customer with a problem and see how easy it is to get a resolution in a timely manner. It is not rocket science; therefore, I can only assume this is the new model they have adopted. If you want to decrease wait times and resolve customer issues, it is quite obvious you need to invest in this area. I am experiencing skeleton service and am keen to move my business elsewhere, which is going to be an uphill struggle.
If anyone at TSOHost would like to reach out to me by providing a contact number (which you used to have) or an email that goes directly to a person who can actually do something about it straight away rather than back and forth, pointless emails, that would be appreciated, as the current situation is completely hopeless.
No support whatsoever
No support available and no live chat available. Tsohost used to respond quickly to a support ticket being created. I've spent a frustrating afternoon not getting any help. They no longer offer telephone support and instead direct you to their live chat. Only there is no Live Chat Button to click on as they indicate. Terrible waste of my time and am so fed up.
UPDATE: Following my Trust Pilot review Tsohost responded to it within a few hours. However their support team took 10 days to respond to my request for help with a message saying that I can use the 'chat support' between 9 and 5. That was it. Unbelievable.

I can't believe the level of service i…
I can't believe the level of service i was receiving for the past two months, after being a loyal customer for years I couldn't even get a response to a ticket I raised. Happy to say fastcow.com swiftly resolved my issues and now I'm back online.
Tso Host: As greedy as they are incompetent
Tso Host's recent migration shut down both of my business email adresses two weeks ago and they have not answered any of the multiple support tickets I have opened since then. They have no email contact, no phone support no live chat. It's like I have been hacked, only hackers offer you a way of regaining control of your email. This once great company is now as unscrupulous as it is incompetent. I have no idea how I will retrieve my emails and recover all the business I have lost. If I could call the police on them I would.
