I purchased an engine at the beginning…
I purchased an engine at the beginning of June. It arrived at the end of June. The shipping was slow. Because of the 3 week turn around I lost my appointment and was not able to get the car worked on until August. Something to say about a good mechanic, they are busy. Now my mechanic has unwrapped the engine to install it and the wire harnesses are cut. The mechanic has now had to remove the supercharger and exhaust manifolds to replace the harnesses with my original ones. Upon removing the exhaust manifold he found a hole in the side of the block. It appears that whomever removed the used engine did it so violently as it also broke mounts in addition to to the hole in the side of the engine. Now I am asking for a refund and getting the run around. I would caution anyone looking to purchase from Turbo Auto Parts. They are a middle man that brokers the sale and they are slow on shipping/customer service and there is no way to guarantee the quality of the part. When I arrived at my mechanics shop he showed all of the flaws to me and told me that there was no way the miles were as low as I was told they were. I have all of the messages from Turbo printed off and my lawyer will be getting involved soon. I was truly defrauded of $3800 in the form of a garbage engine.
