Two Lasses Spirits is a scratch made British Rum brand founded by two women from Yorkshire. The brand presents an innovative and exciting spirit family crafted entirely from scratch in England. Stylish, quirky, bold, vibrant, strong, and brave, our brand invites everyone to embrace their true selves and pursue their dreams – embodying the fearless spirit of our founders. Rooted in a deep love for Yorkshire yet transcending geographical boundaries, the Two Lasses aim to shatter the clichés surrounding rum – no more pirates and sailors – with our exquisitely smooth rum and delightfully twisted liqueurs. These independent and empowered women are redefining rum, breaking free from tired stereotypes and creating exceptional spirits that speak volumes. As a start-up business, we wanted to forge our own path and differentiate ourselves from other brands. We take pride in our British heritage and felt it was crucial to champion British rum. Thus, we embarked on launching the first-ever British rum brand founded by two women. For the Two Lasses, it's paramount that every step of fermenting and distilling begins from scratch, right here in England. Like most rums, Two Lasses Rum is crafted from sugarcane molasses. In collaboration with our Master Distiller, we import 100% sugarcane molasses to create our own distinct spirit, rejecting the practice of importing pre-distilled liquid from the Caribbean or elsewhere. The imported molasses undergo fermentation and then pass through a super-premium triple distillation process using traditional copper pot stills. From the initial 200 litres of liquid used, only 25 litres achieve the desired richness and full flavour that characterise our satisfyingly warm rum.Mehr ansehen
