I ordered two croquet mallets. They were not received and eventually I phoned and was told there had been a fire at the warehouse and their website indicated that they were out of stock. It did not. It still does not.
Eventually I asked for my money to be refunded and after two further phone calls eventually it was. If the mallets were not available, as a courtesy , I should have been emailed. I was purchasing these mallets on behalf of friends who, quite rightly, kept asking about the delivery.

Bought a croquet set which was delivered quickly and is of excellent quality

I decided to buy a decent croquet set for the garden to play with the kids (6 and 15), having previously had the very small and cheap garden center version.

Our grass is ok but no croquet lawn so I wanted a set that was a little more substantial too so it would run more true than the marbles the previous set had.

Having decided to get one I wanted to get something that would be a buy it once, last forever set. Without being ridiculous in terms of cost as I soon found you could spent over a thousand... so opted for Ubergames because the mallets and overall set looked more polished than some other premium sets.

I opted for the minimum that provided worthwhile upgrades, the Pro set. Gave me two sizes of mallet (6 year old was mostly fine with the shorter one, but did eventually hit himself in the eye while swinging it, without messing around). Also the composite balls are very good.

The hoops are nice and solid which is in keeping with an overall feel of getting what you paid for and good value with it.

Bought coits too... again very good for what it is and a good little bag with it.

Storage wise I opted for the tool bag. It actually takes quite a while to put everything away properly and I half wish I had opted for the wooden box. I figured the tool bag because then its easier to take to the grandparents. Tool bag is good quality though.

So in summary, a high quality set that I feel will last for many years. Reassuringly expensive without being silly... Annoyed I couldn't find any discounts!

The wooden croquet set is really good. However, in our view the trolley doesn't work very well as the sticks fall out when you move it. The staff at the company were very helpful and efficient in sending the set to us before a planned party.

I liked the web site but was charged delivery initially when it should have been free. I think you should include a rule book with croquet sets.

Bought hard wood tumble tower. V good quality bricks and bag. Requested specific day for delivery via email and product turned up on time as promised. Would definitely use them again.

I bought this item as I've been after a wooden garden game like this for years. If arrived quickly, well packaged and the item is even lovelier than the pictures allow for. We used this at our wedding and it was a huge hit. Would highly recommend both the company and product.

I bought several pre-used games and found them all to be complete and in excellent condition. My order was very slightly wrong, but the error was promptly and satisfactorily corrected by the very efficient staff. International postage was extremely reasonable too. ORDERED A CARROM BOARD & BAG. WAS PROMISED DELIVERY ON FRIDAY 6TH NOV. RECEIVED SEVERAL EMAILS AND TEXT MESSAGES CONFIRMING DELIVERY. TOOK THE DAY OFF TO WAIT FOR MY ITEM TO BE DELIVERED. ITEM NOT ARRIVED SO I CALLED THEM ONLY TO BE TOLD MY CARROM BOARD WILL NOT BE DELIVERED TODAY. SPOKE TO ROB WHO WAS POLITE AND APOLOGISED, BUT THEN SPOKE TO CUSTOMER SERVICES (KATE) AND A MANAGER/DIRECTOR (NEIL) WHO WERE BOTH EXTREMELY RUDE, RAISED TONES, DIDN'T INITIALLY ACCEPT THAT IT WAS THEY'RE FAULT, TRYING TO GET ME OFF THE PHONE ASAP, TRYING TO FORCEFULLY CANCEL THE ORDER... OVERALL THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE. NOW I HAVE TO BOOK ANOTHER DAY OFF AND WAIT FOR MY ORDER. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS COMPANY. APPALLING!

Despite it apparently being a very simple matter to assemble the plastic outdoor chess board I purchased recently I have still not mananged to do it. I end up with 8 or so wrong handed tiles which do not fit into the 56 I have managed to assemble. Is there a correct way to do it in which case why isnt there a simple explanation of the method with the goods? Alternatively if it is so simple that only I cant complete this simple task ;why do I end up wtih incompatable tiles? Or is it possible that there are different handed tiles and i've got some wrong ones in my set? I had no intention of making this complaint believing that I would crack it eventually, but your Review invitation gives me a suitable oportunity. (and of course for you to respond). I'm perfectly happy with the goods but surely assembling the board should be either completely straightforward and obvious which I expexted, or not, in which case an instruction slip should be provided.
