It’s a scam..I selected ‘non working’ device, as the screen had some scratches, but everything else was fully functional. Had a quote of £422 on this basis.
Sent off phone and then had a revised quote of £161 because the phone is tested ‘to ensure that it is in perfect working order’, even though their written quote was given against the criteria of a ‘non working’ device.
It is apparent that the quote that they give you can never be achieved and what they want is for you to accept a derisory offer once they have your phone on the basis that you can’t be bothered to try another company

I’d seen reviews about customers receiving revised offers but assumed my experience would be different, even though my phone was broken. Unfortunately, I was offered less than half the original quoted price, with Uber Link claiming the phone was water damaged. It isn't water damaged, powers on perfectly fine, and the only damage is a cracked screen. The assessment left me seriously questioning their grading process.

I rejected both their revised offers on 5 October and requested the return of my device. What followed was weeks of frustration, with multiple emails asking for an update simply ignored. I eventually received my phone back on 24 October – nearly three weeks later.

Slashing the original offer is bad enough, but making a disputed damage assessment and then ignoring customers trying to retrieve their own property is completely unacceptable.

I should have trusted the warning signs in the reviews. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. I certainly won't be using Uber Link again.

I did read a lot of poor reviews beforehand but thought i would give the benefit of the doubt.

Very lowball offer on what was originally quoted, I countered back and the offer was increased but still a way off other competitors guaranteed prices.

At this point I just accepted due to all the back and forth of trying to get my device back. To top the experience off they took 8 days to payout after me sending numerous emails chasing payment.

Definitely will not be using this company again.

Offered £340 for the phone online with the description of - can have cracked screen, heavy wear on case, but must power up without liquid damage.
Sent a phone with hardly any marks (always in a case) but a cracked screen and was offered less than a third of the price. They then proceeded to make another silly offer and take 3 weeks to post back.
This company relies on fraudulent descriptions and time delays to gain business. Avoid at all costs.

I sent them my phone which was in perfect condition, apart from the battery health was under 80%, so I reluctantly marked it as in poor condition, but it truly wasn't. Initial offer was 250 pounds, so I sent the phone off in good faith, despite them saying the offer would be with you within 1 working day of them receiving the phone, 10 days later I finally have an offer of 80 pounds, which I have rejected. I am very disappointed with their service and would not recommend using this company. Goodness knows how long I will need to wait now to receive my immaculate phone back.

Revalued my ipad 80% less than they had done originally! ipad is in pristine condition and was hardly used and kept in a protective case since purchase.
They've had my ipad for over a month now and still not replying to any emails.
I'll be taking legal action as I took several screenshots of diagnostics and condition of ipad before sending.
Their positive reviews must be AI created as there are so many poor reviews.

Where is my phone?

I sent my phone off with the website stating £298. I then received an email saying they would only offer £121. I reject this and asked for the phone to be returned. I then received an offer of £173 which again I reject and asked to return the phone. I was then emailed asking what i would accept. I stated £230 which they rejected after a week of chasing. They have now had my phone for over a month! With no sign of a return. Getting seriously worried i have been conned here. PLEASE AVOID!

Uberlink had good communication, they paid within a day of giving me a price - I’m only giving 4/5 because I was offered a grade 5 amount which was vastly different from the initial suggested buying price which I think is basically ‘a hook’ - better to be more realistic up front so you don’t get disappointed. If your phone has anything wrong with it be prepared for a very nominal amount.

On the website, you put in the condition of your phone based off their grading requirements and they give you a quote. I sold an iPhone that was in great condition, but the Face ID had stopped working so marked it as broken. I was quoted £20, and when it arrived, they offered me £5 as it was a grade E. Grade E conditions matched the conditions I had put in on the website, but there was no justification as to why they reduced the price by 75%!! I’ve promptly rejected their offer and will be trying elsewhere.

Over the last two weeks, the company has repeatedly reduced my original offer to almost one-sixth of the initial amount. After accepting the revised offer, they have supposedly been trying to pay me for five days, but every transfer allegedly bounces back, despite me confirming my bank details four times by email. Whenever I contact them, I seem to get a different person and no proper resolution.

I have serious concerns about my experience and believe others should be cautious.

Please don't fall into the same trap I did.
Complete waste of time, effort, envelopes and postman's time.

Can't believe you've gotten away with this for so long!
