I got a quote from a local company for £2074 for class two
Went with uk hgv for £2400 as they sold me recruitment help at the end this never happened email Charley who said he would sort it out and never did.
They do not help with your recruitment at the end so save yourself some money and go elsewhere.
Wish I had done my research before paying these people
Shocking isn’t the word

Charley will just ignore your emails and not get back to you he won’t put it right.

From start to finish with UK HGV have made doing my HGV course a walk n the park, I had Brad and his team helping me with each step, making it hassle 3.
Will be using again in the future to get my artic.

My experience with UK HGV was great. They looked after everything from start to finish any question I had was dealt with in a very short time. The team at UK HGV are friendly, professional and helpful. I would highly recommend this company if you want to do your hgv license. To all the Lads and Lasses at UK HGV, (I'm on track to pass so I'm writing this review early)

But you guys have honestly been the best help I could have asked for. Going above and beyond for me and I'm thrilled to have gotten training from yourselves!

I've been training for my Class 1 C+E Licence for just over a month and now I'm at the final 3b Hurdle! Cost me a chunky 3.3k but it's all worth it to get out and be doing something else.

To Brad and Jake my account managers - You guys have been absolute superstars and it's been a pleasure doing this with you! You've gotten me this far and kept spirits high! I hope this review does it justice!

If you’re thinking about doing your HGV training with this company then hold back because they are nothing but con artists. I signed up to do the HGV class 2 but then got told that it would be more beneficial to do the class 1 course which was clearly just a way of getting a few more hundred quid off me. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to complete the course within the 12 month period and not once did anyone from UK HGV contact me to see how I’m getting on and whether I’m making any progress with the training. So once they have your money, they don’t care whether you complete your training or not. It’s all just a big money making scheme and I would not recommend them to anyone. If you’re thinking of doing HGV driving then do it through a driving school directly- it is often cheaper!

Avoid this company! I paid £2,000 upfront for a course, but failed the medical exam they sent me for. I spent an extra £40 paying for multiple medicals myself trying to pass, but still couldn't. When I asked for a refund, they flat-out refused. It was only after I left a negative review that they reached out to offer a partial refund—but they only gave me back 40% of my £2,000 which I had to chase for 3months. I now understand why they want all the money up front because if there is complications they are not given your money back.

Passed everything first time with UK HGV for Class 1. Very impressed with their support.

Communication could be better but would still highly reccomend them for anyone else doing a fast track course.

Passed my class1 test with 2 minors last week, thanks Robin for being such a helpful trainer. Friendly and patient man. Thanks to Jack and team from UK hgv for getting all test booked on time. Keep up the good work!

I enjoyed the course they provided for me and everyone I spoke to was professional and helpful when I had any questions. The only downside for me is that sometimes the service was a little bit slow in providing new dates for tests I needed however this may have also been out of their hands as I know the practical course was provided by a different training company. Thanks for getting me through my HGV license.

Everything is all in one place, theres always someone to call and talk to if needed and everyone is very helpful.

I paid £2,500 to this company to take my category C licence (class 2) and the assistance I have had has been good and nothing short of helpful.

There are a few things that I would like to mention that would’ve helped me through the process being new to this all of course. The first thing is contact, It would of been nice to of had more contact from the team in terms of how I was doing and if there was anything I was unsure on or any questions I had, I would’ve called more to ask questions but I did not want to pester people as I could tell they was busy, I was not sure what to expect or what I was turning up for with the cpc part of things as that side was a tad confusing. Speaking of the cpc there was a lack of content within the training material which did not show you how to operate and secure cages with straps chains and tensioners and this was something I had to outsource myself online.

The last thing I would like to mention is a reward for passing first time without any fails. I have passed everything without any issues and I think this should be rewarded with a certain amount of your money back as I have been made aware other companies do this. I have verbalised this to the company and there has been talks of money back which I am happy to hear of and thankful.

I would certainly recommend this company if you want to take the step, they have been pleasant to speak to and kind on the phone they have always been keen to help and I appreciate that.

Very disappointing experience
My experience with this company has been extremely negative. I was repeatedly given inconsistent information, and different employees said different things, which made it difficult to plan my finances and schedule. I was assured that I could pay over the course of a year with no rush, but later, Charlie Williams told me that this was not actually how the company operates.
After paying the full amount of £3,400, I was denied the opportunity to retake the test unless I paid even more, despite never receiving a personal package with the necessary details. I felt unfairly treated and discriminated against throughout the process, and I do not recommend this company to others.
