With one exception, most contacts were excellent. The staff at the centre were helpful, friendly and professional. I was very impressed with speed with which the report and images were available - within 24 hours. The one exception mentioned is that the actual venue information could be made more obvious when confirmation emails are sent.

Booking process was a bit chaotic. The initial choice of appointment time is meaningless, and although the confirmation email said I would get a confirmation phone call before 5:00 pm that day, I didn't actually get called until days later, and after the original appointment time.

I had a great experience with scan.com. I have used them before. The website is very easy to use when booking and very easy to follow. They are also super helpful when the relevant member of staff calls you back to make sure you are going to have the relevant scan for your needs. It put my mind at rest.

Got a same week appointment and results in a few days. The one I booked and paid for online turned out not to be available but I got one the following day. There is no waiting room. I was asked to go back and wait in my car. I met an elderly lady who was standing outside the scanner unit in pretty awful weather waiting for her husband. Apparently her request to wait inside was declined.

Absolutely insane to me that this company will allow you to book and pay for a scan BEFORE they then phone you for a 'consultation' and then charge you half the cost if they deem the treatment to not be appropriate.

A. They were the most reasonable priced (and incidentaly, the closest.)
B. I arrived early but was seen almost immediately.
C. I had started the paperwork, but my assistant took that over and completed it very quickly.
D. I kept my clothes on apart from my belt and shoes.
E. Everything was very clean, calm and efficient.
F. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Very quick, very good 👍
Only slight downside was that there were 2 men in the unit no woman on site.
It felt a bit uncomfortable especially when I had to take off my bra! Still kept my t-shirt on thank goodness.

Easy to book an appointment online - a doctor rang within the 2 hours to confirm all ok for scan. Day of scan no waiting - straight in and done. Next day I got the results and a call from the doctor explaining result and next step - absolutely first class service.

Would give no stars if it was possible. On 11/3/26 I booked and paid in advance for an online MRI scan with this company, on Order Reference NM54233, for sinuses, which was listed in the choices at £340. I then got a call from a clinician who told me I could not have an MRI and needed a CT scan instead, which would have cost approximately double. I cancelled the order and was told I would be issued a refund. To date this has not been received. If the scan I wanted was listed as a booking option why then was it refused? If you are paying for it, it should be your choice. I am deeply disappointed that a health care professional - as Scan.com claims to be - would behave in this manner.

The whole process went very smoothly and the scan.com clinician was very professional and helpful. There was a bit of a wait for my chosen site to confirm my appointment and it ended up being a bit later in the day than I selected initially but otherwise fine.
I would advise anyone to pay a bit extra to have the scan.com clinician telephone you when the scan results are available. They will explain the results and advise your next steps and this was invaluable to me.
