LE PLUS INQUIÉTANT : UMAY m’a ensuite demandé de remplacer le motif « PRODUIT DÉFECTUEUX » par « SANS MOTIF » pour obtenir un remboursement ! Pourquoi me demander de déclarer un faux motif alors qu’ils savent que leur appareil ne fonctionne pas ? Cela risquait de me faire perdre les protections liées à la garantie légale !
ET TIKTOK SHOP ? Ils ont clôturé mon litige sans solution et ne me fournissent même pas les informations légales du vendeur pour effectuer mon signalement à la DGCCRF !
RÉSULTAT : 159,99 € DÉPENSÉS, UN APPAREIL INUTILISABLE ET UN REMBOURSEMENT REFUSÉ !

Do not buy UMAY L10 treadmill! After the first treadmill was delivered, (they didn’t bring it up the stairs. I had to pay someone to bring it up the stairs), it had no power cord, no bolts, no safety lock cord. So, I reported it and UMAY sent a replacement (I had to store replacement in the garage until I could pay someone to carry the old one down the stairs and bring up the new one). I just plugged it in and it has an error message: E01. It doesn’t work. I want a refund. But of course, the refund opportunity has timed out because of it being timed from when the first one was delivered. I lost £200 plus costs to bring them upstairs (and 1st faulty one downstairs) because their delivery people do not it carry upstairs.

Do not purchase from Umay. They do not have good customer service and if you are unhappy with their product they first try to buy you off and then you have to pay out of pocket to return. The treadmill is tiny and not made well. My son (11) was trying to use it and it is just not a good product. Do not buy.

Fraudulent seller.

Item stopped working a week after purchase. Sent an email for a refund. They said if I want a quicker refund, to change the return reason from item defective to item no longer needed. They also asked me to discard the item and not bother to return it.

They then decided to withhold my payment. I opened a PayPal dispute and they did the bait and switch. They told PayPal that they would only give a refund if I returned the item. They were aware that I had discarded the item. PayPal closed the dispute in their favour.

Beware of this dishonest seller. I have ceased using PayPal as they are aiding and abetting dishonest sellers.

Umay walking pad stopped working exactly 1 month to the day it was delivered. Video sent as proof to Umay customer services. I was asked if I wanted a refund or replacement, I chose refund. They stated that I would need to cancel the current refund request and resubmit. Changing the reason from faulty to no longer wanted/change of mind for their reviews. I purchased through TikTok shop. I don’t believe I would have been able to open another dispute and it would have closed the case leaving me without a walking pad or refund. Suspicious behaviour.

Amazing customer service and product. I don’t see any reason why not to give them 5 stars. They answered my question within hours of mailing them at their 24*7 support email ID, something, no other company offers, even premium brands.

Umay treadmills are cheaply made and unsafe. not to mention they run like garbage. And the customer service is non existent. I'm still waiting for my refund for the Umay U20F treadmill that was delivered to me with a BURNT out motor.

The treadmill arrived very quickly, like within 3 or 4 days. It was INCREDIBLY easy to set up and operate and very portable. The only problem I had was that the belt slips. Even after adjusting it several times, it just wouldn’t tighten enough to operate smoothly. Hopefully the return process is as smooth and easy as everything else was. It was difficult, communicating back and forth to process the return. Finally they said they’d refund my money AFTER I give them a 5 star review without mentioning the negative parts, probably like all the 5 star reviews on here!

we bought the u18f walking pad around September 2025, it broke while I was using it motor gave up and we could smell burning. this product is not made to last didn't even get a year out of it and is a fire hazard. your hard earned money is better of being spent elsewhere.

Je n’ai jamais reçu ma commande. J’ai donc contacté le SAV et leur ai expliqué que ma commande était indiquée comme livrée à mon domicile, alors que je n’avais rien reçu.

J’ai alors exigé un remboursement. Ils m’ont assuré avoir effectué celui-ci et m’ont indiqué qu’il fallait attendre entre 8 et 15 jours. Une fois ce délai passé, je n’avais toujours rien reçu. J’ai donc repris contact avec eux. Ils m’ont de nouveau assuré que le remboursement avait bien été effectué et qu’il pouvait simplement prendre un peu plus de temps. Ils m’ont demandé de patienter encore 5 jours.

J’ai attendu… toujours rien. Je les ai recontactés et là… ils se sont remis à me parler de la livraison en me disant qu’ils allaient vérifier où se trouvait mon colis. Alors que nous parlions du remboursement, ils sont revenus sur la livraison. C’est complètement lunaire.

Ils me font tourner en rond depuis le mois de février 2026 concernant ce remboursement. Nous sommes maintenant en juin et j’ai déjà eu 16 échanges de mails avec eux, sans aucune solution.

Il est clair que je ne lâcherai pas l’affaire tant que je n’aurai pas obtenu mon remboursement. Je ferai appel à un médiateur de la consommation afin de faire valoir mes droits.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with UMAY. I purchased a treadmill that has not worked properly since day one, despite being covered by a one-year warranty. I have repeatedly contacted customer service for assistance, expecting the company to honor its warranty and help resolve the issue.

Unfortunately, UMAY has refused to send anyone out to inspect, service, or repair the treadmill. Instead of providing meaningful support, I have been met with poor customer service and a lack of accountability. A warranty is only valuable if a company is willing to stand behind its product, and that has not been my experience.

As a customer, I expected a functioning product and reasonable support when problems arose. The refusal to properly address an issue that existed from the beginning is unacceptable. I would not recommend UMAY based on my experience with both the product quality and the customer service I received.

I hope UMAY takes responsibility for its products and improves its customer support practices for future customers.

Subject: FORMAL COMPLAINT – Defective Product & Unlawful Refund Conditions – Order: UMAY 2.5HP Treadmill

Dear UmaySports GB Customer Service,

I am writing to formally complain about the way my order and refund request have been handled, and to demand the immediate processing of my full refund.

On 14 May 2026, I received the UMAY 2.5HP 10KM Treadmill I ordered from you. Upon inspection, I found the item was defective – the running belt had an indentation, and the machine made loud, abnormal noises, clearly making it unfit for use. The following day the machine would not work at all. I documented these issues with photos and left an honest 1‑star review detailing the faults, as is my right as a consumer.

In our conversation, you explicitly agreed I am entitled to a refund. You stated clearly:
"The machine in question does not need to be sent back. You can handle it yourself. We can apply for a full refund for you."
However, despite accepting the item is defective and agreeing to a refund, you have refused to release my money unless I delete my review, stating:
"Can you delete this first, because we need the deleted voucher to submit the finance."
This behaviour is unlawful, unethical, and a breach of my statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

• You cannot legally or contractually make a refund conditional on me removing or altering an honest review.

• Your claim that your finance department requires proof of deletion is entirely fabricated and has no basis in law or standard business practice. It is simply an attempt to silence a dissatisfied customer and hide poor service/product quality.

• I have every right to leave public feedback about my experience, and doing so does not remove my right to a full refund for faulty goods.

They have still not paid me back my money and currently logged the issue with my bank as well as escalating on all platforms to ensure other people don’t make this mistake. The defective product was report same day of delivery. Umay keep delaying telling me time is runnning out, which is also bullying me into removing my post in order to get a refund.

I have been trying to obtain a replacement remote since January 2026 and have followed up multiple times over several months. The issue remains unresolved, and support has not been helpful. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company due to poor post-sale support.

The treadmill has been used only four times since purchase. During its most recent use, the motor overheated and burned through the plastic casing on the underside of the machine. This failure caused heat damage to my carpet, resulting in permanent burn marks. Photos attached.

Given the extremely limited use, this level of failure is unacceptable and raises serious concerns regarding the quality and safety of the product. A treadmill should not pose a fire hazard, especially after such minimal operation. This issue could have resulted in far more serious damage or injury.

I have already complained to the customer service team regarding the treadmill and have received a refund for the product. However, my frustrations continue, as I have mentioned to the customer service team my upset regarding the carpet on countless separate occasions to which it has not been addressed. The burn on the carpet is right in the middle of my living room and is in front of the TV so it looks atrocious.

After a countless try to reach them via different channels (direct e-mail, customer form in their website, instagram), finally I managed to reach them to raise my request for cancellation. Then I sent my request for cancellation for many times due to huge delay on deliveries. Instead of canceling (even though they said they proceed with cancellation), they sent the product a week later. Unfortunately DPD delivered the product to my neighbor. What should I do now with overweight package? How to return the product? My guess they are planning to sell the product in sneaky way.
