Best digital platform so far. Been loving the app except that maybe if set up for automatic debit, you should ask for PIN/ATP every month. Got scammed because of this. I already have cancelled my subs... Mehr ansehen

One of the worst banks

One of the worst banks. Money transfers are slow and customer service is just horrible. I’ve wasted a lot of time trying to email them for updates regarding about my money transfers and only getting a response 3-4 days after.

Currently planning on switching banks. Try to avoid Union Bank, the stress you get from this bank is not worth it.

Was excited for Union Bank until...

I was excited to have Union Bank PH because they're rated as the best online bank.

However, it's not worth all the constant "system maintenance", delays in having access to your funds and terrible response in customer service.

They don't reply to emails. On FB they only give templated answers. And they always have the same excuses for their mid-week maintenance when your account is offline for an entire workday.

OTP not receiving

Ang problema ko ay bakit hindi ako makakatanggap ng OTP sa cellphone to be able to log in to my account 3 months na po na ganito 3 months pabalikbalik ako sa tawag sa customer service ang sabi they cannot proceed the concern because i overlooked my information. Hoy binigay ko tama lahat ang information ko kayo ang my problema diyan kaya kung meron lang 0 star yon ang ilalagay ko dito sa aking review eh. Kaya advice lang walang magagawa ang customer service what a waste of time sa pagtawag or email sa kanila. Kaya kung my balak diyan mag open ng account stay away dito sa sa bank na to. UNION BANK PHILIPPINES.

Worst customer service

Worst customer service. Reported an online scammer and requested for the funds to be reversed, I was told to go to Gcash, then PNP, no accountability as such on their end. If there's a zero or negative 1 I'd even give them that score

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Stay away!

If I could give this bank NEGATIVE STARS I would. They’ve had my account frozen for almost 3 weeks now. I have called numerous times, emailed COUNTLESS times, and visited a branch multiple times only to be told that they will be “forwarding” my concern to the department in charge. In all the banks that I’ve had had this is the first time I’ve ever had to deal with this problem. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTE CRAP AND PRACTICALLY NON EXISTENT. Up to this day I have not yet had access to MY money and no proper response from their customer service. If you plan on opening and account at Union Bank, DO NOT DO IT. If you have an existing account from Union Bank, CLOSE IT WHILE YOU STILL HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR MONEY. This bank is only quick to deduct money from you account but when you need help with something they turn a blind eye. UNION BANK IS THE WORST BANK IN THE PHILIPPINES.

Worst bank ever

Worst bank ever, 1st they create you an account that cannot be activated through their app, 2nd you have to wait minimum 2 hours for their branch to serve you, 3rd customer service reps are so incompetent. If I can give this bank a 0 for everything I would. The manager in the branch I visited gave me her email address and now that I'm trying to reach out to her via email she's not responding. If you want to open an account and you don't want to waste time, please go open an account with a different bank and do not use UnionBank, it's a piece of trash.

0% customer protection for online…

0% customer protection for online transactions. I was scammed by a Chinese Alibaba seller, Unionbank made me wait for almost a year then when I recently asked the current situation. I was told that they couldn't help me. Another incident, my debit card was recently declined by a shop in the US but my card was charged. Now 2 weeks and counting my money is still not credited back to my account.

Customer service at arms length to bank's gold standard

Positive: In iloilo city,
Inside the lobby, it is cool. It's highly techy. The staffs are attentive. The guards too are helpful especially the taller one, while I have a reservation on the other guard.

Negative: In iloilo city,
1. From my previous experience: I requested if they could print my 1-page US embassy transaction details so that I could just make my payment with them. But they refused this simple request. So, I had it at BPI.

2. I noticed that in the queuing lane outside, senior citizens have to bear long lines. Although they are given priority many were not given plastic chairs. It's a pity for a bank that says it cares. Though on lean days (non.salary) this may not be a problem but still the bank should be excited to prepare on days where there is a bulk of people. Senior citizens are clients too, and clients are humans too.

3. I had this negative experience with the guard when I asked him to check the senior citizens' lane and to provide them chairs, but instead, he retorted "ano bang pinagsasabi mo." It was a surprise that it seems that simple request has hurt his ego when in fact it was his duty to assist customers. Maybe this shorter guard has learned to be bossy around. He must be given a serious customer service orientation. Upon my leaving, he didn't even bother to say thank you or responded to my thank you statement. It seems he owned the bank. His arrogance is his and not the bank's and the rest though.

4. I wish the process of card replacement should be less than three days. I was not given any convincing explanation but was made certain that it would be a month of waiting. Take it or leave it. So I must wait.

For those who have a choice may opt for other banks around, but for many senior citizens, having this routine of waiting in line to check one's atm may be a form of pilgrimage and so sacrifices are part of it. The queuing becomes a virtue.

Probably, this circumstance is just so ordinary in the Philippines that it becomes a norm for clients to act as beggars while for those employed inside the air-conditioned room, to remain indifferent on those beyond their view.

DONT TRUST THIS BANK WITH YOUR HARD…

DONT TRUST THIS BANK WITH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! Used there debit card to pay for goods in a store. TRANSACTION FAILED ( CARD NOT HONORED) BUT STILL THEY DEDUCTED THE MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT!!!
I call that stealing!!! Since 3 WEEKS WAITING FOR REFUND!!!
EIST BANK EVER!!!👎👎👎😡😡😡

very bad service customer service union bank philippines, their customer service keep saying its still under process and still checking which takes almost 1 month it is just that my transaction history didnt appear. poor management

Incredibly slow response

Incredibly slow response. I had a transaction with this bank which had been pending from May 6, which is 10 days ago. I went to the bank on the 10th asking why the transaction hasn't been processed and the cs guy told me he had "emailed" the concerned parties. Went back on 13th and he has not received a reply from their email yet. Ridiculous. Why does it take them 3 days to answer a single email (and that's internal).

I'm supposed to wait indefinitely for the transfer to go thru or wait until the person in charge finally gets in the mood to respond to an email. Been with this bank for more than 4 years. Now contemplating moving.

Unionbank - Pasay Taft

Unionbank - Pasay 2528 Taft Ave Branch is the most useless bank of #Unionbank. I went to the bank mentioned above to fix my savings account because based on their system "Digital Account Opening is currently limited to Filipino citizens residing in the Philippines only To continue this application, kindly visit your nearest branch to open an account. " but guess what service I received from them? the only account they are assisting is the one with the minimum balance, said the staff in the PWD area today dated 11th May 2022. Whether with or without a maintaining balance in the bank account, they should assist me because they are the ones I applied for a saving bank account and yes, they just let me go. they didn't take any action to fix my application for my personal savings account. knowing that, I'm pregnant. They just let me be filled with annoyance and anger they didn’t assist me even even though they have already heard my concern and the issue of my savings account with them. I will never use union bank again. All the staff here in Unionbank Pasay - Taft is worthless. It's feels like you're begging them to create an account for you at their branch so that you can have a personal savings account that they will benefit from. Nakakasuka service niyo! there is no word that can express what attitude and service you have shown me. worst @Unionbank branch.

Worst Customer Service Ever

The most inefficient, lazy “national” bank in the Philippines who are only prompt when they need your money.

I am living out of the country so calling them is an expensive option for me.

I made a request for a statement of account through email with one of their collection officers who handles loans, it took them almost two months to send me one! And this was with constant follow ups. And I know they are receiving my emails because I would get a CC’d email saying “Ms ____, please process this request” or “Ms ___, the customer is already irate, please check”. So it’s not like they are not receiving my emails. They finally sent me one almost two months later!

I made a another request back in November for an amortisation schedule document so I check for the remaining amount of my house loan and I still haven’t heard from them until today (Jan 2022). Again, I know they received my email because I was CC’d by one of the collection officers when he forwarded it to a certain “Girlie” to process it.

I swear it is ridiculously embarrassing to think this is how one of our big banks in the country handle requests.

I have all the email trails to from both of these transactions.
