I will be avoiding this company in future. They moved one of our supplies to Scottish Power in January and it has been nothing but trouble. Incorrect address, excessive Direct Debits taken without prior notice that were then ‘corrected’ by imposing a new tariff at higher rates and extending the contract period.
At each stage I involved Shahid, who whilst expressing empathy, did nothing to resolve the issues. Despite taking an estimated £1,400 in commission I was compelled to resolve all these errors on my own.
I even invited the company to respond to my complaint before writing this review - to no satisfactory response.

Paresh Patel was extremely rude
Paresh Patel was extremely rude, patronising, and seems lacking in knowledge of electricity supply. Put the phone down on me. He called back later without apology or explanation. Then he put the phone down on me again. Such rudeness is totally unnecessary and (thankfully) rare.
On the plus side, if they monitor calls I can't imagine he will be working there for long, so hopefully you will have a better experience.

Scammers
Received an unwanted call when they should not have held my personal number. I received several very pushy calls from people that claimed to be from Smartest Energy stating that we cannot end our contract with Smartest energy without paying £2.8k. They then approached both me and director of the company several times trying to claim we were unable to end our contract on the contract end date. Quite sure this is all a scam and if Utility4business are not the scammers, they have passed my number onto scammers. Complete waste of time and very rude callers that refused to email any of the information when we were unable to understand what they were saying.
