This company is a scam. The order confirmation does not come in a professional, easy to understand email. It has been over 2 months since I ordered my lights, and have not gotten any update. I have reached out 3 times with a week in between each message, and have never received a reply.

Bait and Switch and long delays

Took four months to ship a furniture order. When it arrived it had several flaws and the motion mechanisms did not work. We bought a name brand product from their site, but what we received was just a copy of that name brand furniture. Not at all happy and hard to get them to return and refund the purchase. Wonderful experience

Wow! I am in love with all of the light fixtures I purchased from Vancei. The custom design lights I ordered turned out better than I could have hoped. They had great communication about shipping even sending a video of the fixtures before sending. In the future, I will be ordering all of my light fixtures for both myself and my clients from Vancei.

I ordered 2 Audubon 25” pendants on…

I ordered 2 Audubon 25” pendants on June 5th. I got an email on June 17th with a FedEx tracking number. When I click on the number it shows the package going to TN but I live in Colorado. I called FedEx and confirmed that they show the light going to TN but they will not let me change the address because I’m not the shipper. I tried emailing Vancei but it just comes back undeliverable. I sent a message through the chat function yesterday and it said they would check with their logistics team and keep me updated.

I followed up today and the NY number no longer rings, Google say the website doesn’t exist and the other 2 emails address I found don’t work either. I need to know what is going on.

Update: I did finally talk to Kath in New York. She told me their website had gone down for a few days and a bunch of false tracking numbers had gone out when it came back up. She said that my order had not been manufactured yet and would send pictures before they shipped it. She did that a few days later but it was the scones with 2 lights per fixture instead of one. I contacted her and she agreed they made the wrong light. A few days later she sent me a few more photos and a video showing the correct light. I agreed and she said they would ship it out. I’m waiting for a tracking # and will update if/when I get the package.

Update 7-14: I did receive my 2 lights and have installed them. They look fantastic. The packaging for shipping was one of the best I’ve ever seen. It was a cardboard box with each light in styrofoam, inside a wooden box that had locking clamps on the outside and then put in another cardboard box. My lights had very heavy glass called K-9 glass and arrived in perfect shape.

It ended up taking about 5 1/2 weeks from my order date to receive my lights. That included the remaking of the fixtures. I’m changing my rating to 4 stars. The lights themselves are the exact same lights that Restoration hardware sells for close to 4 times the price. Yes you have to wait and the communication is spotty at best but for the cost savings I would do it all again now that I know it’s a real company.

Company in Hong Kong

They are not located in Denver. They are in Hong Kong. They are a real company. Communication isn't great. Sometimes they send false info just to make you believe the item is in its way. It took about 12 weeks to receive our large light fixture. We are happy with our light fixture but it took a long time to receive.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. Their listed customer service phone number does not accept calls and their customer service email address rejects incoming emails. They have refused to refund a return item with no explanation, just ghosting. Shop elsewhere!

I'm still waiting for my order from 3 weeks ago. I have a DHL tracking number but it is only a label and they don't have the package. The company has stopped responding to my messages.
