This is the worst vacuum I have ever had. It’s been replaced once, the replacement is equally poor. Don’t buy a vax

Please to everyone out there do not buy there platinum power max carpet cleaner the hose that connects to the main body breaks I cannot believe that this company rips you off avoid at all cost I will never buy anything from this company again VAX was good back in the day but now maybe one of the worst. The pipe is so hard that the drop stays in the air and you have to push it down and then snaps used about 40 times and bang you throw it away there are better ones out there don't make the mistake I have made.

Have always had Vax vacuum cleaner but the latest one is let down by the small slot in filter, if you happen to pick up a large item it shuts the machine down and you have to go through a dismantling process of the whole head to get to the foreign item

I bought the SteamFresh Combi Classic yesterday and tried it out this morning. Initially it’s difficult getting the water container in and out, however when it’s all assembled the detergent is in I thought I was away. I left it a few minutes to heat up pressed the steam release button, steam was produced for two squeezes, then nothing. I then leave it 5 minutes between squeezes before steam is produced. This is two steams every 5 minutes, at this rate it will be tomorrow before I’ve finished the kitchen floor.
Really not impressed

I bought from Shark about the same time - it took me about 10 minutes and I got the goods fine. I tried for several days to buy something similar from Vax - about 10 hours of wasted time and I could not buy it because of their website and interactions with Barclaycard and false messages (I believe) and misuse of my data, I believe: they do not have a data protection dedicated email, I believe. They have refused to answer any of my serious complaints about this. Please be very wary of the ethics of this company.

Dreadful cleaner. Has been bad from day one. I tried to persevere but now it is being recycled. A complete waste of money. Doesn’t pick up from carpets and I have to physically cut hair/fibres in the roller every time. Have no pets but thought this would be a good product. Don’t waste your money.

Why cant you say in your advert that it's not powerful enough to pick up loose cotton, fluff,or feathers from cushions, it just rubs them into the carpet.

I bought a VAX ONEPWR some time ago due to alterations not used it until today - what a total waste of money I could spit and lick the floor quicker did absolutely nothing probably the worst product I’ve ever had

1 star is too many , All the reviews are true , exactly the same has happened to me , received no refund yet or carpet cleaner, it’s a scam , hoping my credit card company can get my money back for me

SCAM COMPANY-
sadly I fell for this over Xmas. The link came on the bottom of an Argos add and I believed it was affiliated with VAX. Took my money. All emails bounce back, long call tone and American voice mail, never responds. Search of company reveals they have multiple adverts under different names so are clearly still scamming people. I have reported them to Trading Standards but I know this will do nothing! I have just left a voice mail telling them they should be ashamed of what they do, but these people have no conscience.

An absolute gem of a machine. Everything that was wrong in the last platinum cleaner has been fixed. Easy to access front pieces so they can be cleaned, separate solution and clean water chambers which mean you can rinse afterwards, easy to remove pieces, and the all important dry only mode. I can’t praise this enough, well worth the money, as close to professional grade as you can get. Well done Vax!

AVOID. Will take your money and string you along with delivery promises that never materialised, this is NOT Vax Ltd who are very trustworthy

Scam company. Their website gives you a mobile number to contact that will never answer calls. The person who replies to your text has very poor spelling and is very vague. You will pay and never get a receipt.
