I am extremely disappointed with Venice Music.

First, the pricing issue was very frustrating. It started out looking affordable, but then suddenly increased to $500, which is completely unreasonable in my opinion.

Second, I have 5 accounts with Venice Music, and not a single one of them has been able to withdraw royalties. The reason given was copyright, even though the music I uploaded is my original music. What makes this even worse is that my music is still live on platforms, yet I am unable to withdraw my earnings or even take the releases down properly.

At this point, it feels like my money has been locked away with no fair solution. The amount involved is more than $20,000, which is a huge amount of money to have held like this.

Overall, this has been a terrible experience. Poor transparency, unfair handling of royalties, and extremely disappointing support. I would not recommend this company to any independent artist.

I have been a customer for 3 years here, recently i was hit with a false copyright claim which i proved against

the support team and this company decided to lock me out of my account and for a week i have been trying to resolve it and they refuse to pay my royalties or takedown my music since they wont let me do it because im locked out of my account.

Avoid this distributor.

The team was super responsive and went above and beyond.

They have scammed me saying I don’t own my music even after providing proof. Please avoid at all cost!!

i am giving them one star but not because i have ever been a customer of theirs only a potential one, but because every review on here is either 1 star or 5 and all of the 5 star reviews sound overly generic and clearly fake like they were copy and pasted from one of their own email pitches they send out to potential new subscribers. and all of the 1 star reviews are obviously from real people who were unfortunate enough to put their trust and $$$ into this parasite of a company. (they keep emailing me and even when i turned them down they won’t stop) lol at least they are consistent with something. cheers and steer clear.

Horrible company got "terminated" yet they are still claiming royatlies on the music they have up under my name and refuse to give me any of my royatlies I had emailed them over a month ago about the issue they told me on the 15th of last month I would get my payment the 15th came no money I contacted them they said they're "finance team" would "look into the situation" I have yet to get an email back from them and they are stealing money from me day by day

I am a new artist. Writing, recording music is a great passion of mine. Releasing music, promoting music and the business side of music can be daunting. I appreciate the depth of support Venice provides as well as being so prompt in helping me whenever I have an issue. The community is solid as well and I feel very seen and acknowledged. I am looking forward to growing my audience online and having Venice Music there to support me along the way.

Awesomecompany. Not only is the distribution smooth, but it's a great community of creators who support each other and collaborate as well as a full on music industry academy with multiple virtual events a week with legit professionals from companies like Tik Tok and Spotify, etc. weekly feedback sessions with their sync team and even monthly "ask me anything" sessions with the founder and former manager of Lady Ga - Ga and John Legend. The Community manager Donavan is a legend. Can't say enough good things about this company.

I love Venice. Learning so much about becoming a better more professional artist.

Venice is an unparalleled community for independent artists to connect with peers and mentors to fine tune their skills to be the best artist they can be. The amount of resources and connections the Venice community curates is truly remarkable.

As veteran in the game who has been on both sides of the table. All of my expectations have been far exceeded while my standards have been met from a distribution company and hell any other music business lane because. Pro membership is a must! The level of care, speed, and effective thoroughness from the support team is top-tier. I’m enjoying this ride. Let’s keep going!

Probably the best distributor we've worked with (and I've tried a LOT in the past 10 years). Smoothest upload process, incredibly easy splits where they don't charge the payees (unlike distrokid), very fast delivery times and most important a highly responsive and helpful support team who so far have never failed to help no matter how small the question or issue. Highly recommended and a great price even for the label account which we have.

I love Venice because they give their artist courses upon how they can evolve, and elevate to newer and greater heights. Also how they give you connections to A&R, the weekly music listening sessions, and occasional LIVE mixers.

Best community, tool and great events! Love Venice!

Best distribution company in the game hands down!

Venice cares. There's nothing else that need to be said. They make an effort to speak to the creatives in their network and provide valuable help regarding momentum in this business and simply sharing how to best navigate this industry

EVERYTHING! I got my plan (that I bought) terminated, without no more explanation, I tried to explain them that I owned a label and that I'd distribute my artists content. AND THEY TERMINATED ME! They didn't even leave me time to explain to them what really happened. They just automatically terminated my subscription, while I provided proof of my artists owning the music!
I DO NOT recommend Venice Music! It's really bad they don't listen to their customers, I went to the Discord server ASWELL to try and get some help from the Moderators, Staff, or Admins.. But no help, they banned me from the Discord Server and they just didn't help me.
I do not recommend Venice Music, 1 star, please use DistroKid or TuneCore or something like that, not Venice Music!

Everything went wrong. I uploaded my music, and it was original songs written, produced, created & sung by me. My account was falsely terminated on Venice and my entire catalog/discography was removed from the platforms that I uploaded to. I joined their Discord server expecting help, but they were nothing but rude when I tried to explain the situation. They told me to "Stop joining," and started replying with hateful & offensive slurs based on my gender identity. I feel very devastated about the entire situation. I just wanted to upload my music to make people happy instead of them using YouTube. I do not recommend Venice music if you want something affordable & good support. They have INCREASED their prices heavily and made their only plan $500 a year. Do not use Venice, use something like DistroKid instead. 1 star, NEVER AGAIN! :(
