The local staff made the experience very good but having to talk to staff in your head office who had no idea what happens at a local level, is the same with all you big organizations the bigger you get the less efficient you are at running your business. I had the misfortune to work for an international company at a local level, head quarters were never interested in local plants only the overall scheme of things but it's the local little people that make things work and interact with your customers. How many top end managers ever bother with the little people who are the money earners for your huge companies

Good part-ex price for my old car, which was taken away when the new one was delivered (no faffing around trying to sell privately!) All change of ownership sorted. Great stuff.

I thought that the initial handover was good and all round dealing with Gloucester Vertu Ford when negotiating over the car. However I was told by the salesman that any issues then let them know in the courtesy call a little over a week later.
I had an issue with the stop/start system which has not worked since I picked up the car. When I had the courtesy call I explained this issue and I was called back a little later by the service dept.
I was told the earliest appointment they had was 22nd July nearly 2 months after having the car?! The car otherwise I’m really pleased with, but from a customer service point of view when I’ve just got a new car is very disappointing for a huge dealership like Vertu and the Ford brand.

I waited 3 hours for a car service, After my complaint I was kindly offered a free valet and wash.
I booked my car in at 9am, which I promptly attended. After 35mins I thought I would check on the process. I was annoyed that my car had not been moved from the car park. I complained to the salesman who offered me the wash etc, and he went off to sort it. 20mins later my car was so say clean. It was swilled off of dirt from the outside. I went back to see the salesman to check his gesture of a valet. The boot of my car had clearly not been touched and he said they don't normally clean the boot on a valet. So we looked inside the car and that was barely touched. Sweet wrappers under the seat, dust on the whole inside of car, dirt and sand in the footwells. I shook the car mats and they still had bits on. I was clearly diss satisfied and the salesman also agreed that the job was rushed and not completed to standard. What a waste of time and Fuel, I wont get back

The sales manager and sales man Michael promised to get me a warranty never got back to me just spent £12,000 on a ford focus would never use them again only had the car 4 weeks with issues been avoided by them done phone calls emails sent no reply so would recommend avoiding Gloucester ford vertu motors or take a legal team with you as they will rip you off

Took my car in for a waiting service at Vertu motors in Gloucester. The lad on the desk was extremely rude, they didn’t carry out something I asked them to do. They disconnected my dash cam and I never received any paperwork afterwards. I have phoned and emailed yet no response

Had a brilliant experience with Vertu Gloucester! Tiegan was so friendly and professional, making everything incredibly easy for me. Mo was also great and took the time to explain a lot of details, which I really appreciated.
I'm still waiting on the outcome of a blunder on the Ford website (it hadn't been updated), but that has absolutely nothing to do with Tiegan and Mo, who were fantastic throughout.
I’d highly recommend Vertu Gloucester if you want a smooth and easy transaction. Thanks again, guys, and all the best!

Shocking experience with Vertu Ford Gloucester.
My daughter found a car on thier web site that she thought would be good for her first car. She asked me to go and have a look ,and if it was suitable, to buy it.
I phoned ahead on the bank holiday Monday and was told that the car was still available and ready for viewing.
I drove down from Birmingham and to my horror was told that the car was locked in a compound and could not be viewed until the next day. I could look through the fence if I wanted to!
They then produced a salesman who said that he tried to call me to let me know. Well, I have had no missed calls or messages to this effect.
I am £30 out of pocket, had a wasted 2 hour round trip, and my daughter has had her first bad experience with car salesmen!
Well done Vertu Ford Gloucester!

I purchased my car (ford Kuga)from what was Bristol street motors ford Gloucester now Vertu Ford Gloucester.
The brand new car was damaged. The offered 1 replacement also damaged so had to go with 3rd car.
Then it had to go in for 3 batteries within the 18monts because it would not hold the correct charge and would go into battery safe mode. Was also inspected many times to find fault, But there so called expert Tech's could not find the fault. Ford UK got involved but still could not find the problem. Whilst the car was in garage the car was raced down the street in 1st gear strait after being serviced, and sexual comments spoken to woman walking around by driver. all caught on dashcam. There response, to remove customers dash cams.
So in the end the car was rejected back to finance company. During this process we found out that the dealership had cancelled our gap insurance by the dealership one month after it was taken out, without telling us or giving us the money back. The money was only refunded after 20months and after threat of reporting for fraud.
Also they tried to say we did not have a free 1st service that was offered when purchased. They said we had to prove it was offered. Luckily we kept the original quote of the car.
We found that some of the staff to be Fraudulent, rude, misleading and very unprofessional. when you call there local dealership number you all get Newcastle. who are a waste of time and no help.
They have no respect for your car.
Would we buy another car or recommend them to anyone to this dealership? NO run a mile
They reply to say they will look into it. Just a blag. in my opinion and experience, Dont trust this dealership

Vertu Ford Gloucester provides an excellent level of service. I was fortunate to have Rupert as my advisor and cannot commend him highly enough for his professionalism, extensive knowledge and courteous manner. Having dealt with other car dealerships in the past (Hyundai and VW) I was particularly impressed that Rupert was the only one to clearly explain how my personal details would be used and processed, demonstrating commendable commitment to transparency and customer care.
Although I ultimately decided that the car I test drove was not the right fir for me, Rupert left a very positive and long lasting impression. His dedication and approach made me wish I had proceed with the purchase through him. Rupert is undoubtedly a valuable asset to Vertu Ford Gloucester and I sincerely hope that his contributions and exemplary service are duly recognised by the company.
I wish Rupert every success in his career and many successful sales in the future!

After inquiring about a car on the evening and taking the day off work to go and view it the following morning I arrived at the dealership at 8:30 am the next morning to purchase it to be told it had been reserved 15 minutes after I inquired about it on the evening even though the car was not showing as reserved on auto trader
Complete waste of my valuable time
Travelling 100 miles
I would never recommend this dealership to anybody!!!!!
Update judging by the reviews given it looks like I have dodged a bullet purchasing a car from this place
