For me KIA cars sell themselves. This time a STONIC, the fifth KIA model I have had albeit from several different dealers. However Kieran Wilkinson was a pleasure to deal with and I give him top marks. He answered any remaining questions we had about our deal and smoothed things along nicely, and I appreciated the follow up call he made to me today, checking if I was satisfied with the car etc..

Any criticism I have is about the buying process VERTU and many other dealers use these days. The ritual of the endless back and forth between salesman (sorry salesperson) and the finance guy nibbling away at the odds and ends to offer a deal. I assure you it is both time consuming for all concerned and a total turn off for the customer. Surely Kieran would have been able to sell to another customer if he could move on in quicker. VERTU may wish to pass this off as being a necessary process. Have you never heard of process simplification? A slicker process would be a winner. Here’s an idea, what if Kieran had understood my vehicle requirements, offered a selection of cars and if I had been interested passed me on to the finance team to sort out the real nuts and bolts and show stoppers.
