I really wanted to love these white Vessis. The style is clean and modern, and the comfort is truly outstanding. I walked over 30,000 steps in one day with zero discomfort, which is incredible.

However, the "pro" of comfort is completely undone by a major "con": upkeep. While walking in the city, the white material attracts dirt and grime at an alarming rate. The real problem is that they are incredibly difficult, if not impossible, to clean. The dirt seems to set into the material, and following cleaning instructions does nothing.

It's a huge disappointment. Despite the A+ comfort, the difficulty in keeping them clean is a deal-breaker. They only looked good for the first wear. I will not be buying these again.

Vessi is consistent in the ordering process, short wait times for delivery, and the quality of the shoes. I have 7 pairs of Vessi shoes and Chelsea boots. All true! I recently purchased 2 pairs of kid sized Chelsea boots for my 8 yr old granddaughter who loves fashion and rain puddles!

I do a lot of light hiking - the storm burst shoes are perfect. They are comfortable out of the box and provide excellent grip and cushioning. Highly recommended!

The first pair I bought from them lasted, no joke, 5 years of near daily use. Recently I bought my second pair online and I had to try on a bunch of different pairs before I found the right fit (they discontinued my old pair). I exchanged 5 times before I found the right fit (that's 6 shoes) they paid for return shipping and provided the other size at 0 cost to me (except for the difference in price in the different models). Their customer service even gave me a free replacement pair in days when FedEx lost mine. My experience couldn't have been better. Other companies need to take notes!

I’ll give two stars. First I ordered size 13 which is what I wear in all my US purchased shoes. These were small. About 1/4” small but enough to bunch up my big toes and cause my toenails to start rounding down. I decided to wear without socks and it helped but still not comfortable. Second they were waterproof for the first couple of times I walked in shallow streams to retrieve disc-golf discs. Then they started leaking within less than a month. Then I stepped on some Russian olive branches getting to my throwing position and a big thorn ran right through the bottom into my big toe. Bleeding and all. Shoes went into the garbage can last week after 3 months of use and probably 45 rounds of golf. Not comfortable and leaking. Will probably get some type of solid leather boot aka Chris Dickerson style, instead of spending big money on these again.

I have many items from Vessi since I live in rainy Vancouver. My recent purchase is the Coastal Hoodie. I have worn it in the rain and it is waterproof. It is a nice weight and will likely be perfect for most of our fall to spring weather. I have worn it in the early Fall, and it is breathable. The Vessi brand is my go to for waterproof gear.

I get immediate responses to my questions. I have personal follow-up since my first purchase, and when I got damage in my first shoe within the year, it was replaced immediately. I also had excellent customer service in person in the store when I visited Vancouver, and bought two more shoes!

Ordering my vessi shoes was very easy. They were true to size, easy to put on, are very comfortable and definitely waterproof. I bought them for my 20 day trip to Ireland. I walked 193 kms in them and through lots of rainshowers and puddles. I even walked into the ocean a wee bit so I could feel the Atlantic Ocean. They never started to smell after all that moisture and walking. I machined washed them when I got home and they turned out great. They are now my dress runners here at home. Thank you Vessi! I definitely recommend these shoes

This is the second pair of Vessi sneakers I’ve owned. I was happy with my first pair for almost a year, until one day they finally let water in. At that point, I said to myself that it's fine; even if they lasted a year, I'd still be satisfied.

I just received my new pair this morning and took them out for a thirty-minute walk. Unfortunately, I noticed that the heels were already scuffed after that very first use. That was very disappointing, considering how much they cost. I don't think I'll be buying them again.

**Update on my experience with Vessi
Here is part of the response I got from their Warranty team: "We have done a thorough investigation based on the documents you've provided us, and we’re very sorry to say that your shoes don’t meet the criteria within our warranty coverage." After that, they list what Vessi's Warranty covers. I suppose that makes sense: a replacement pair would likely get scuffed just as quickly, given the quality.
Still, I must admit I am very disappointed with this. The shoes retail for $140. My Brooks sneakers cost less than that, and I've been running in them for the past year almost every day for an hour. No scratches there. I even had them on this summer in the rain, and they held up just fine.
Based on my experience with Vessi, I guess the company is willing to charge a premium for shoes that scuff within the first thirty minutes of casual walking. I am firm in my decision not to ever buy them again.

Had not heard of this company previously, but was looking for comfortable walking shoes and found that they are Canadian. Took advantage of a sale to purchase 2 pairs of shoes and could not be more pleased with my decision. Along with being water-proof, the shoes are comfortable to wear for long walks IMMEDIATELY. No break-in period at all.

The fit is exactly right. I love that there are no seams to interfere with comfort. They are my new daily walking shoes, as well as my go anywhere sneakers. Have already gotten compliments on my shoes! because they are quite attractive especially in the unique 'tangerine' colour.
