Two significant problems with small raised garden beds
Transport and delivery are excellent and fast.
However I am critical of two of the three products I received.
I ordered a large raised garden bed (50x31.5x27 inch) which was well-produced and easily assembled.
Since then I have ordered two smaller raised beds (80x80x68cm) and these suffer from two significant problems.
First, they appear to be haphazardly coated on the outside with a plastic film, which is both frayed and likely to degrade into the environment. Why this coating is there is unclear.
Second, the corners of the sheets are almost always haphazardly bent inwards, making assembly difficult and causing greater risk of harm to the user.

Postage was exceptionally quick
Postage was exceptionally quick, easy to order.
The item did arrive without any obvious damage to the package but when opened, a few of the panels were bent. Nothing that a pair of pliers couldn't straighten but was annoying the paint flakes where bent back into shape.

Bought a 5mtr vertical retractable blind
Bought a 5mtr vertical retractable blind. All steel work was light and fixed together with tiny screws. When assembled and installed the blind works quite well in shielding wind but when retracted the material doesnt retract evenly and needs a second set of hands to hold the top of the material as it retracts as it tends to bunch up downwards.

The product is so flimsy and too hard…
The product is so flimsy and too hard to put together because of this. So many small pieces of timber that have to go together which makes it very weak. We have given up as it keeps breaking.

Order paid, zero contact or support there after
The shipping was an absolute mess, there is no way to contact vidaXL and talk to a human as their phone number doesn't get answered and the chat bot is useless and asks the same 4 questions without result. The delivery date to get my 1/4 of my order was 2 weeks past the due date the second 1/2 came 3 days after that and the last 1/4 came 2 days after that.

Worst company to deal with regarding…
Worst company to deal with regarding exchange. They are known in the industry for being unreliable. All they want to do is send repeat emails, with the same information, with no outcome.
Avoid purchasing from this company.

Edit- you said it has been finalised but I am yet to receive my re-fund even though you have received the product back from the shipping company. So , no it has not been resolved.
Edit Number 2- if your commitment to responding to my phone call and emails in a professional manner and getting this matter resolved before Christmas ( when the process started), was as good as your commitment to responding to to my negative review, there wouldn’t have been an issue. As far as I am concerned the matter is not resolved until the refund is in my account.

Great height

Daybed assembly .. not great
Purchased a daybed via Big W marketplace. Possibly the worst instructions for assembly that I’ve ever seen. Seems a little flimsy once completed, unsure what the longevity will be like.
Reply to VidaXL as per below- Can no longer find this on Big W marketplace. Order number was AUBW430487556 in September. Paid to have it assembled December 30.

Fantastic customer service
I received a cabinet with a smashed in door and after some back and forth I was informed they were unable to send a replacement door but offered a third of the item price in reimbursement. I declined and they sent out a replacement unit.
I am very impressed with the communication and response from VidaXL.
You do not find many companies and businesses these days that respect and appreciate customers as this company does.

Scythe 147 cm grass trimmer
Scythe 147 cm grass trimmer - arrived promptly but it was a couple of weeks before I got to use it (I.E. out of return policy range !!!). Scythe is ABSOLUTLEY USELESS. Handle snapped off after 2 minutes then blade started bending every few minutes and needed banging straight again. Absolutely NOT fit for purpose and is going straight into the rubbish bin !!!
vidaXL replied, full of apologies, maintaining they’d tried to reach me on several occasions. That’s nonsense bordering on lies. No one in the world has problems contacting me, only vidaXL, it seems. AVOID !
Absolutely unbelievable response from vidaXL. I’m not going to engage further with this company. Life it too short.

Product and delivery was excellent. However the flat pack pieces were not marked with stickers to make assembling easier. Instruction leaflet not very clear. Finally got it together after a few attempts. Happy with finished product. I have assembled many flat packs this was hardest I’ve done.
