I would highly reccommend Viisi Amsterdam - Hypotheekadvies. Their fee is reasonable and the company operates a very smooth and efficient service. My advisor was Arjen and he was incredible! I cannot recommend him enough. His communication was clear, timely and very efficient. He was also very patient by answering all my questions (and there was a lot!). By the end of the process, I felt I really understood the terms of my mortgage and we secured the mortgage incredibly quickly which took the pressure off! Arjen is very knowledge and gives very sound financial advice; for any further financial advice regarding mortgages, I will be reaching out to Arjen at Viisi.

Overall, I thought this would be a very stressful process, especially as a first time buyer, but the Viisi makes the process very clear. If you are expat I would highly recommend their services.

I’ve been advised by Anne, and she’s been incredibly helpful and responsive, even during the free consultation phase. We were in the middle of purchasing a house with costs at the top of our borrowing capacity, and Anne’s support and knowledge really helped us shape our decisions.
That first property didn’t work out, but when we found the next one, we worked with her again. And the mortgage process was blazing fast! From the start of the application to full mortgage approval took just 7 calendar days, and part of that time was us gathering documents.

I worked with Brent van Huizen and had a really great experience. As someone who didn’t know much about how mortgages work in the Netherlands, I was expecting it to be a bit of a headache, but Viisi made everything super straightforward. Brent explained things clearly, always took the time to answer my questions, and made sure I understood what was going on at every step.

I'm overall very happy with the advice and service from Anne and her colleagues! Once we decided on which mortgage to go for, the process moved quickly, they kept us informed and explained every step clearly.

One thing I found a bit disappointing, though, was the extra fee for communication in English. My partner is Dutch and could help translate the documents from the bank, so I’m not sure how much additional work it really involved to justify the extra cost. Since I’m also from another EU country, there wasn’t any additional paperwork required either. It just felt a little strange to be charged extra for something that seemed quite minor in practice.

Had the most smooth experience with Vissi. I had the pleasure of having Thomas Seis as my financial advisor. He was very quick to respond to my emails and calls, always very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.My mortgage was arranged without any hassle. Thanks!

Niels at Vissi was seriously a lifesaver for us. From the second our bid was accepted, he was an incredible help through the whole mortgage process. He jumped on a one-hour call with my wife and me and walked us through every single option for our mortgage. He made everything super easy to understand and made sure we felt totally confident about our final decision.
