Absolute scam or just that disorganised you seem like a scam, you’ve stolen $299 off my family and if I don’t get it back I’ll make it my life’s work to inform everyone how bad you are .. absolute shit service .. update 19/4/26 first email addressed to wrong person, email stated “Hotel blocked out” then told “Hotel booked out”, thought I’d made another booking, no mention of “block out period” in promo or terms & conditions , emailed 2-3 times before a response, live chat twice before a response .. and the run around all the time .. shit service

Hi Stephen- sorry to hear about your frustration, however it appears it's caused by lack of availability at the hotel during the Christmas week. Reservations are managed by the hotels and all bookings are subject to availability. As you would know, this is a peak period and is currently booked out in advance. Our roles is customer support and we have no final say on how many rooms are available at the hotel. Tried to book a trip to Thailand

Tried to book a trip to Thailand, we paid the deposit and were told we’d be informed when to pay the balance. We were never told this and instead received an email to say our balance was overdue. We paid it immediately and asked if it had been processed, but did not hear back for another few weeks - on the morning of our flight. We then had to book alternative accommodation from the airport, not even knowing if it was confirmed until we landed. Viaresorts didn’t take any responsibility and instead just sent numerous emails saying they ‘understood our frustration’. Six weeks of looking for a hint of an apology later, and I’m here posting this review. Avoid

Booking

The booking was easy. You need to read the terms and conditions. We do have to sit a 1 hour meeting at some time during our stay. So far, they have been professional all the way.

MAKING A SECOND BOOKING ...

This is my second time booking with ViaResorts and I have had an easy time of it. I would like to mention Shanell who assisted me in 2025 to change a booking location and this year to book again.

The resort has everything you need

The resort has everything you need. We were lucky enough to get a swim out studio apartment, it was awesome. Cooking facilities were great and the apartment was a great size. Swimming pools were great and all the restaurants and bars were awesome. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay at Absolute Twin Sands.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY, IT IS TIMESHARE/SCAM. THE PRICE YOU PAY FOR THE DEAL IS ACTUALLY LISTED I THE TERMS & CONDITIONS "The amounts advertised represent the service fee for processing bookings at the advertised resort. Any additional payments are to be made directly to the resort or hotel as advertised (including upgrades or other services negotiated with the advertising resort)" Very misleading what you maybe charged at the resort. The resort also has T&C's that are not disclosed up front. When you ask the questions this is where it becomes grey area. I can't believe this company is getting away with this in Australia. I will be forwarding my situation onto the Department of Fair Trading at least. So disappointing to loose money in these tough times. Please do not buy anything from this company you will be sorry.

HI Cheryl, sorry to hear about your disappointment. I have asked a manager to reach out to you. However to clarify, ViaResorts are not a timeshare company. Hotels advertise special offers on the website and a small number of those are heavily discounted as part of their promotion of their clubs. The hotels promotional terms are on the offers page, in the link at checkout and also in the voucher supplied. Thousands of holidaymakers have enjoyed these discounted stays. We do however understand terms can get missed which leads to disappointment. Please look out for an email from our manager to help resolve this for you. Thanks Michelle.

I have book Seminyak Bali and later…

I have book Seminyak Bali and later realized it is some sort of time sharing and wanted to cancel. The initial request to cancel they told me will have to deduct a fee of $100 and someone will contact me. But never heard from them since. Have contacted them for more than half a year and was told someone will reply me but after several email attempts still no one reply. Please reply😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Update on 17/4/26

Michelle emailed me saying she will handle my case. But after one month I don’t hear from her. In between I have emailed her to ask for refund and no reply. I am thinking they are buying time to wait for my booking to expire so that I can’t get a refund. This is so wrong.

The booking process was easy peasy!

The booking process was so easy and the £99 deal for 3 nights on the edge of the Cotswolds was a no brainer! We hope the excellent reviews do the hotel justice and we're looking forward to our stay and one of your most talked about breakfasts!

Your customer service is appalling when it comes to there being a fault on your behalf. If you treat all your customers in this way then you won't be around for long.

Slow confirmation booking process!!

I am trying to book my holiday after purchasing a reservation voucher. I can't book flights until this is confirmed. The responding email said 48-72 hours to respond. Request was sent on 02/03/2026, and today, still no reply (10/03/2026). The dates we asked for were October 5th 2026, for a week.
I am posting here in the hope it will give them a nudge to hurry up!
