Everything was well organized, every pick up and drop off was on time. All guides were knowledgeable and pleasant.
We can't fault our experience with Viva

The guides were all very good and helpful. Very forthcoming with history and site knowledge
Drivers were punctual helpful and drove safely
Accommodation was excellent and in good locations
We did some communication problems due to our telecommunications companies lack of roaming packages for some countries while this is not vivas problem we did have issues receiving boarding passes on WhatsApp and email in areas with poor wifi
Perhaps sending them while we were still at the hotel would have been better
However we wouldn’t hesitate to use viva again and have already recommended them to friends

I had a pretty tight window between flights to organise a tour so I thought I'd go for it, and the team at Viva Expeditions were so helpful and responsive getting an itinerary set up for me. If I'd had to figure out the logistics myself I'd probably have given up and missed out on some really cool experiences, so I'm very thankful they were able to make it work!

Our safari trip through Southern Africa was amazing! The camps and lodges recommended by Viva were first class and really looked after us. We saw all the big 5 and many more animals besides. When we realised that there was always someone there who knew where we needed to be, when, and helped us through the formalities, we could truly relax and enjoy the experience. This has been on our bucket list for years, and the experience exceeded all our expectations. If there was any room for improvement, it might be in the online guidance we read before the trip, which was a bit general rather than about the lodges we were visiting. And where the camps gave guidance about tips, the expectation seemed a bit higher than the Viva guides. But overall we had a fabulous trip.

Our guide Shona was very nice, helpful and informative. The pace of the tour was good, not too fast or slow; not too many things so we also had time to ourselves to do whatever we wanted. The stargazing that was included was very comfortable and illuminating. The kiwi spotting tour guides were very passionate and friendly. Overall very well organized.

The comfort of the train, the food, the drinks and especially the staff. The excursions to the game parks were wonderful - we saw the big 5 in two days!
Having the walk around Rovos before the train trip was very interesting.

We had a truly amazing holiday in Mexico with Viva Expeditions. It was amazing from start to finish. In particular our guides were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The hotels were all in excellent locations, unique and quite lovely, the transfers all went smoothly. Our every need was catered for and we had the holiday of a lifetime. Thank you!

What an amazing trip organised by Viva Expeditions. Tanya and Rachel did a fantastic job, it was seamless. Out of all my trips this was the best by far on the Rovos Train. The service was exceptional. Destinations was always a wonderful surprise. The friendships made is so special. Looking forward to the next one organised by this team.

It was the people....the organisation....the tireless 'behind the scenes work' of Tanya and Rachel.....the relationships formed.....the stops and arranged trips..every detail was managed with passion and professionalism.

Just got home after a 3 month adventure in Africa, all booked thru Viva. Started in Cape Town and travelled thru to Joburgh via Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe with Drifters, it was accommodated and lived up and more than I expected, the tour leaders/drivers were knowledgeable as was well as great sense of humour. My next safari was the Kruger National Park again with Drifters but different tour guides, so many animals and saw the big 5 as well as the most of the ugly 5. Then on to Kenya, Uganda (gorilla trek) and Tanzania, is time with Intrepid. Some interesting experiences, got up early one morning and watched a bull elephant wander thru the camp site, it was still dark, he was only interested in a tree he wanted to eat, joined by 3 more. Spent 10 days chilling in Zanzibar before heading off to Morocco, loved the accommodation and the camel ride. All in all a very exciting and enjoyable adventure, though one down side I had to transit in Cairo and would have liked to have spent a couple of days there to see the museum, fingers crossed I will get back there.

Size of tour group was perfect for the rail trip. Having a "personality" hosting. Lots of animal viewing opportunities.

We were very impressed at how thorough Viva were through their communications, the quality of the guides, the pick up and drop offs, the hotels etc. Special mention to our guide Nancy in La Paz and Omar and the driver in Bolivia. They both went out of their way to ensure we were well looked after.

What went wrong is that we never went on the trip as I got advice given to me by my staff that come from that region the areas being traveled in were not safe so we canceled the trip.

We had the most amazing trip with Viva to South Africa and Zimbabwe.
I can’t fault their attention to detail,hospitality and being the most wonderful hosts.

The trip was well organized and it was on Target with our outings.
With outings everything was very well organized.
Transport was appropriate for the outing.

Group of 4 of us made the trek to South America visiting 4 countries. Viva & House of Travel put together an absolutely amazing itinerary . Every airport we were met, each guide was informative as well as great company , accommodation, transfers,flights - all spot on. Will definitely promote you guys.

We had an amazing time, met some wonderful people, were well taken care of, and enjoyed a truly relaxing experience. One of the highlights was definitely the food!
