Deceptive Pricing and Poor Refund Practices — Avoid at All Costs
While the staff at Voicespin were helpful during the initial setup, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. Their pricing model is completely misleading. I was charged $150 for a minimum of 3 agents, while many competitors offer much more flexible plans — as low as $30 for a single agent.
What’s worse, they charge extra for features like an auto-dialer, which should honestly be considered product improvements, not premium add-ons.
I was promised a $90 refund after removing an agent from our package on Monday the 24th. My sales manager confirmed I would receive the refund in my bank account by April 10th. I even offered to take it as account balance, but he insisted on a bank transfer and asked for my IBAN.
Today is the 17th, and not only have I not received the refund, but the same person completely changed the story — now saying there will be no refund at all.
To add insult to injury, when I requested to close my account and get my remaining balance, I was told that they only refund if the remaining amount is above $50 — mine was slightly below, so I get nothing back. I feel like if I had 200$ he will have say "sorry minimum to be refund 250$"
All in all, Voicespin feels shady, with unclear pricing, broken promises, and a refund policy that seems designed to avoid actually issuing refunds. I do not recommend them and regret ever signing up.
