VPZ began in 2012, when our founders, eager to quit smoking, discovered that vaping was the only method that truly helped them kick the habit. Quitting smoking - especially alone - is no easy feat, and this was the spark that ignited the VPZ journey. What stood out to our founders while switching to vaping was the poor customer experience, limited availability, and lack of choice when sourcing liquids and coils. Motivated to help others quit smoking and aware that there were around 12.4 million smokers in the UK at the time, they opened the first VPZ store in Leith, Edinburgh. Their goal was simple: to help the local community make the switch, provide exceptional customer service, and spread awareness about vaping across the UK. Today, the evidence supports vaping as a powerful tool in the NHS stop-smoking strategy. While the well-known “95% less harmful” figure comes from a 2015 Public Health England review. Recent statistics show that around 5.5 million adults in Great Britain now vape, including roughly 3 million ex-smokers. Over the past five years, approximately 2.7 million people have quit smoking using a vape. In fact, the number of vapers now exceeds the number of smokers, with 5.5 million vapers compared to 4.9 million current smokers. Yet public perception still lags: studies show that 85% of smokers in 2024 underestimated how much less harmful vaping is, often believing it to be as harmful - or more harmful - than smoking. Educating smokers about the reduced risk could help more people make the switch. Our mission remains to assist those who want to quit smoking and support existing vapers on their journey. OMG!!...Please read the Negative…

OMG!!...Please read the Negative feedback on this company, there are pages and pages!!....I have copied and pasted my correspondence with them, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
Hello, I have been a good customer of yours for a while now and have always had a good experience in your shop as have a number of friends and family whom I recommended to become customers, unfortunately I had a very bad experience on the 13/06/2025....I had been in previously to buy a new Limax mod which turned out faulty and the young gentleman who served couldn't be more helpful and after checking thoroughly and agreeing that it was faulty suggested to change it for a Smok IPX 80. After returning home and using it, it became apparent that it was leaking and I found it was quite difficult to work for me as my eye sight is poor and I have large hands, so I returned it to the shop the next day and explained to the young lady that it was leaking and I was having difficulty with it and would like to replace it with a more robust original type as I am a 60 year old mechanic but to my dismay she refused to replace it saying it was not faulty and went on further to supply another type but would not take off the price of the IPX because she said it was not faulty!!...anyway the bottom line is I left in disgust at her terrible attitude leaving me feeling humiliated in front of other customers. I am not the complaining type and feel this has been an awful way to be with your customers, all I wanted was another vape that I could manage easier and didn't leak, I had no problem with paying more I just wanted to be refunded for the IPX.
Please can you advise me what to do...I certainly don't want go back to your shop in Lochee High Street, Dundee, DD2 3BZ, I have the receipt and also a new pack of coils but there doesn't appear to be anywhere on your contact form to leave an attachment. I have tried using this but it still leaks in my pocket and isn't any good for my needs...what ever happened to good customer care!, I thought I would come directly to your site to let you know what happened before leaving bad reviews

Thanks for your message and sorry to hear about the expereince that you had in store. I have spoken with the store in depth and they have advised that the device was tested fully and no fault was found with this regarding the leaking and because of this we would not be in a position to replace or refund this device. What i can do however is offer you a 20% discount code to use on the website if you wish which would reduce the cost of any new device you would wish to purchase

Again sorry this is not the resolution you are working for however as there is no fault with the device we would not be in a position to exchange this device

Started using my local store but I will…

Started using my local store but I will now go elsewhere. After being quite happy initially, I went in and asked if they stocked a certain model which I was sure I had purchased from the store. They said no. I went back to double check and then was told after he had checked the system "oh we used to but don't anymore, but we still stock the pods". The pods were what I was looking for and I needed to be clearer in what I asked for.
The icing on the cake was sadly after I had my purse stolen I was told to redeem any loyalty points (I'll add I've never even had the loyalty point system explained)I had to pay £1 replacement fee for a new card yet my postcode sufficed previously to add points. I've never heard of anything so ridiculous. No store or bank charges for stolen cards. I will not be returning and will take my custom elsewhere.

Problem with Online Order, No response from support

Usually a great store with a good selection and helpful staff in person. But this time I ordered online. I didn't receive all my order. tried to contact support but haven't had any response.

Ripped off and abused.

When you have a loyalty card does that mean that the loyalty only goes one way?Not only did i not get a refund for a dead vape i now find out that the shop staff have not been entering my loyalty points.

Problem with online order

Usually it’s great store with good assortment. In store personal is friendly and helpful.
I made an online purchase this time, ordered 6 Terea Green but received only 5 packs. Contacted support but still no response. Very disappointed.

My local vpz

I use my local penznace store quite often for liquids and coils. Staff are generally well educated. As with some jobs you have to learn about certain things and with an ever evolving stock it's not always easy to keep track of brands flavours, what coils for what mods. Especially now as some devices will run multiple coils. Anyway. I find the staff here are good at the job. They're friendly and will go as far as helping you set up new devices should you require. Overall good store.

Ineffective Management

Attended 24th February for oils & Coils.
Manager asked what resistance I would like?
I explained I didn’t understand the Resistance of the coils.
Managers Que to explain & Educate, instead he just provided a pack of the coils that you get if you buy the kit.
Said goodbye on the way out & not even a cursory goodbye.
Staff in this store are Rude, Lazy & Ineffective.
Employ staff that actually look like they want to be there & have some enthusiasm for the job.
The entire experience was awkward.
This is down to the management in this shop.

Today I was assisted online by Jakub…

Today I was assisted online by Jakub regarding a faulty item.
We completed the relevant checks and a replacement was sent.
The conversation was quick and convenient with follow up action promptly taken.
I’ve even been provided the offer to check in once the replacement is received so we can assess if any other part of my device is causing issues.
Overall an absolutely great service from Jakub, throroughly impressed with this chat service considering past experience with other online chats. Taking to an actual human being really makes a difference

I purchased some vape liquids from a wonderful gentleman who works in the concett store last week. He was so helpful and I generally haven’t had service like that in a long time he went above and beyond and I have recommended him to all my friends and family 10 out of 10 recommend Especially If you are Making the change over from smoking cigarettes and you don’t really know much About vaping like myself! Thanks again i will definitely be returning
