Just had the ghastly experience of renewing a resident parking permit. It has taken over an hour with Waltham Forest/Ringgo websites combined blocking progress at every turn. I've had to reset my password three times before I could log in and then been told repeatedly that there is a mistake in my application when there isn't. Waltham Forest has always been a rubbish website, as complicated and user unfriendly as it is possible to be, but this has been a new low.

THE WORST COUNCIL IS WALTHAM FOREST BOROUGH!!!

I wouldn't give a single star, as Waltham Forest Council Doesn't Deserve It!!!

I don't know from where to start since I moved into this Waltham Forest Council I've never experienced so many lies, delays and disrepairs since I moved in and still experiencing them!!! Homes Communities within Parliament must visit the actual disadvantaged tenants like me!!! If anyone from Authorities reading my email here's my contact number on 07739489558. Please, BBC I'm waiting for you, please!!! Thank you for anyone's attention!!!

If organisations carried a health warning, that would be Waltham Forest Council. I simply cannot believe that some people gave this useless organisation 5 stars.

A review is about an organisation and how it performs its services, not one nice friendly individual who finally sorted out a mess that came from a bad service by other incompetent, unmotivated colleagues.

Waltham Forest Council is simply god-awful! The staff are often rude, inept and extremely unpleasant with zero people skills. You make a telephone enquiry and they ask you to email. You email them but you get no reply, so you phone again only to get told turnaround time for emails is one calendar month!

My wife once made a call about her account and cleared verification. She politely asked the agent that she'd like her husband (i.e. me) to take over the call as she wasn't in good health.

The agent refused and insisted on speaking only with the named person on the account i.e. my wife, who was the caller! That’s not data protection but cruelty, sheer stupidity and incompetence!

I spent much of my career in the commercial/private sector. Such awful staff will not last five minutes before getting fired. They would not even have made it to interview stage. They're simply not fit for purpose!

Unfortunately, I have to still deal with these bumbling ID-10ts for the next year or so until the property is sold. If only TrustPilot would create zero star. Even that would still be too good for that lot.

Sadly, their neighbours in Newham Council are just as rancid and awful!

Absolutely useless. Don't bother writing a noise complaint. Waste of your time.

I have just has the best experience from a gentleman called Shawn who works in the council tax department.
I've had many dealings with the council with the majority being horrendous if I'm honest. Today I called regarding a few issues I needed sorting out. Shawn has
outstanding customer service, actually listens, knows what he is
taking about and went above and
beyond to help. Absolute super star. There are still genuine people who care. I hope he gets to read this and gets recognition for his outstanding work to customers.

This has to be the most frustrating website I have ever come across can't access my council tax as it makes you sign up to another website which would not accept my email address so had to use another one then kept telling me to confirm via email which did not arrive in my inbox and after asking it to resend I still didn't get it and am now locked out so now can't find out how much they have increased my council tax and therefore can't budget until they charge me this is beyond pathetic

This morning I spoke with Jas she was very helpful to me . I m glad I find her on my call . I give her 5 stars she deserves.

Fraudsters are working behind the CCTV cameras in this borough to charge you for nothing by misusing the law. After eight weeks from the alleged date of contravention, I received the ONLY ONE notice (Charge Certificate) asking to pay now £195 or face county court judgement (which I am committed to proceed). This is absolutely financial harassment and extortion done by one of local authoritie's departments.
In addition to the contravention which has not been taken place correctly, I also clearly explained in writing that I had not received any other notice prior to this one. Instead of reducing the amount back to the original (same as first notice) I don't know why they ignored my explanation and copy/paste some already composed paragraphs which are totally irrelevant to my statement and sent to me. This scam operation under the council's management is absolutely horrible and shouldn't continue anymore to rip off the innocent people unreasonably. Simply, the law is being abused by them to make money. Please stop this nasty money-making project by giving unnecessary stress, hassle and pain to the people.

Worst council in London. some staff are rude and racist. do not invest or do a business in this borough....There are many borough in London are million times better.
I had a business and I took a portion 43 square metter from a landlord and WFC forced me to pay 108 square metter despitec a landlord confirmed that I have only 43 square metter and I sent the floor plan and all require documents to Waltham Forest Council and also to Valuation Office agency.
Waltham Forest Council to the court stating that I have refused to pay business rate of the size 108 square meter, and they have refused to inform the court that I have 43 square meter despite I sent all require documents confirming the size 43, also a landlord and estate agency confirmed the size 43. In fact they were perverting the court.
I have recieve many emails and bully text messages from WFC.
Also, I have been told by enforcement officer that there is a possiblity to be arrested if I do not pay for the size 108 square meter....
Once I have been told "what he can do my Local MP" , when I told them that I will report their abuse of power to my local MP ......it seems are out of control

The worst council the worst country in the world ripping off the people I get 2 tickets in 1 min and I try to pay the ticket they don’t let me to pay now they send me £390 to pay scam bags

Attended a family funeral which overran considerably and it was inappropriate to leave mid service to return to the car. I expected the service to take an hour but in took two hours, and I had paid for a ticket for two hours to give time to walk there and back. We ran back to the car to find the officer had just issued a penalty, but he assured us that our situation was understandable and so he would add a note to the council so the penalty could be cancelled. He advised also that we emailed the council the following day to explain the delay in return to the car. He had no doubt that the penalty would be revoked.
I received a fine of £80 and when I questioned this online, as no contact available to discuss; the AI was useless and uninformative, so I paid the fine.
Shame on the council for taking this stance. A greedy way to make money for the council.

This council should be more concerned about current and previous children who need proper homes rather than the care homes amd funds should be to support those who need learning support or home help as opposed to placing foreign false political aslymi d seekers in foster care. Funds wasted on more immigrants who know the loop holes th enter uK.

Waltham Forest council service is complete waste of time.
booked large item collection they never picked up when you complaint complete form for complaint and is waste of time. Never get any resolution.
Contacted for last 3 years 6 to 8 times email and phone to fix a roof they never dealt with it.
0 star if it was. They get their wages doing nothing for the Comunity.

No PCN sent just straight to a charge certificate , with a huge fine ! Is this something they are doing often

Tryinf to represent my cousin with learning difficulties. Housing department need I say more.

I used to have to go through several complaints procedures just to get some sort of action on my cases. Now they don't even reply to complaints. Broken system, greedy, and don't care.

If there was an option for minus or 0 stars I would select it. Horrible service. Weak slow responses. On hold for ages. No idea how Waltham Forest council is still operating. Careless, rude and pathetic. No training and etiquette.

fly tipping in garner rd is totally wrong, but they have a camera that has not worked for over ten years, they dont give a damn about the residents, all they care about is giving parking tickets out to get money in, another mafia council in london.

Have been running a business for over 18 years now,

Waltham forest have to be the worst council in the UK hands down!

These people do not treat businesses and business owners like humans, they deliberately cause businesses harm with their blasé attitude to significant changes which they don't even bother consulting local businesses.

We have been paying our business rates, which seems to increase every year! still we pay,

They have introduced CPZ, which has increased from the beginning,

They have sold off many parking lots for development and reduced parking on all roads,

They have closed roads, to make 15 minute neighbourhoods? all this means is there is more traffic and more pollution as people now have to travel further to go around the blockages!

They have never consulted businesses as they know they will get feedback against them? They say to look in the Waltham forest paper or the Library, but, I say, as a business who has time to go to these places everyday to keep up-to-date? why not just email us? or post us a letter?

They ignore 100 person signed petitions, they say parking doesn't affect businesses as TFL carried out a report which states parking doesn't affect businesses? All the data of this report was collected DURING THE LOCKDOWN! WHEN NO ONE WAS ALLOWED OUT OF THIER HOMES!

In an age where people should be helping one another, this council seems set on destroying local business,

Local councillors are unfortunately the same, who ignore issues. It really is a shame the way local businesses are treated, and the council seems set on shutting everyone down, would be easier if they just said it!
