Amazing smell. I will definitely be ordering more!!!

Amazing scent. Had 3 different candles now, all smell incredible. Will be purchasing more.

I order a couple of candles, the pain au chocolat and the croissant ones and good heavens, they transported me back to a trip to France I took on my twenties. Happier times lol. They smell so good even when not lightened. I really appreciate the help of Hadera when I messed up my order (I was too excited when placing my order and I did not read the name of the candles well) and she kindly changed it really quickly. The delivery took its time but it was an international delivery (Uk-Spain) and I don’t mind it too much. I mean, they are candles, it’s not life or death. I will recommend this brand to all my girlies.

I recently wrote a rather angry review about my experience which was heavily triggered by the emails reminding me to leave a review. Since I can't find or edit that review I thought I'd leave another here instead. Post black Friday the delivery was indeed very slow, mine took a month but I wasn't too fussed. I was disappointed one of my candles (a limited scent) was now out of stock but I understand that sometimes website trackers get it wrong. I won't go into detail about what happened after that caused my bad review, but I did want to say that Hadera reached out and despite my review being quite mean she still went out of her way to make up for my experience. I was about to cross Wick Guru off my list of candle co's (I buy a LOT of candles and have a few fave indie brands) but the way she dealt with my case in the end was very kind and her candles are such a delight that I'm glad to still have her on my list of faves.

Running a small business isn't easy I'm sure, we have to allow some leeway, and prior to black Friday I'd only had 100% positive experiences shopping there.

Honestly, the best-smelling candles I've ever had. I am a candle girlie, and I can't stop buying from Wick Guru. I was sucked in by their Sailing Day candle (that I wish would be brought back!) and have since probably purchased every single candle they sell. They smell gorgeous, last a long time, and they are perfect all year round.

I have ordered several candles, my favourite is the buttery croissant. They all smell lovely but this one in particular has a wonderful bakery smell which I have not found in other candle brands. They have made fantastic gifts which have been well received. Fast delivery and nicely packaged when they arrive. Five stars

Candles are normally pretty things that just deliver a warm glow and a little heat, and smell great when not burning. These candles are different. They filled 2-3 rooms with the scent and I love them. Buy them, they are ace.

One of my favourite small businesses! Freshly Baked Bread is my current favourite scent but they’re all wonderful. The customer service is definitely the best of the best too.

Exemplary customer service and quality of products from Hadera and her lovely team. The candles are heavenly and add so much atmosphere to the room. Highly recommended.

Candles are lovely, but delivery phenomenally slow and no communication about estimated shipping dates or responses to messages on Instagram

Ordered on 27-Oct-2024 and my items were shown as dispatched on 29-Oct; they are still not delivered as of 25-Nov. Reached out to customer service on 05-Nov to enquire and they said items would be dispatched the following week because of increased demand and some items being out of stock. Items are still not delivered despite following up again on 20-Nov asking for my items or money back with no reply again; now I'll have to file a claim to get my money back I guess.

(UPDATED JAN'25) Hadera at WickGuru has since reached out to me and apologised for my below experience directly. Everyone deserves a second chance and to learn from mistakes so I'm updating this review from 2 stars to 4 stars accordingly.

Sadly delivery took 22days, ordered on November 3rd 2024, received on 25th November 2024. Understand delays can happen, especially around the festive period, but was given no communication of this on the site at the time of the order or in the following week or two following the order. Instead, I received automated followup emails asking for reviews and how to use my non existent candles. Would recommend better communication, people are very understanding when they know what's going on, but it comes across as deceptive to only find out 3 weeks later after contacting support. Not a criticism of the candles, just the delivery and customer experience.
