I've never ordered from you but I feel terrible that you get so many reviews ment for your competition (which is actually who I was looking up). But thank goodness I found this site. I will be ordering from you and not the other guys! Cudos to you for all of your professional replies!

After the watching Seapriracy I would not trust this company. No more seafood! I’ll make sure I pass this information along to everyone I know via work and personal to not eat seafood. The greed of this industry and marketing platforms cannot be trusted. I watched Blackfish and watched it take down Seaworld. I hope this documentary does the same thing to every disingenuous fishery and seafood operation. If Wild Alaska Seafood company is doing as they say, then they shouldn’t be worried. But if they are, I’ll make sure to help educate the unaware and hope they have the same fate! So far I’ve sent this to 20 people the documentary and the more I educate myself on this disgusting industry and so called sustainability I’ll keep promoting information. I come from a long line of natural fisherman who fished for the past 300 years from Normandy France and have seen the impact commercial fisheries have had on their tiny community to feed their families. They started Festival of the Sea and it’s about honoring their hard work and appreciation of the ocean. This company shows you on their website that their still using nets and wants you to join their club. If you were sustainable you wouldn’t be using nets! And what are you doing with your nets that get discarded? Where’s that story?

I could not tell any difference between this salmon and salmon I buy at the grocery store in NYC. I did not realize that I was signing up for monthly purchases. OVERALL, A VERY POOR EXPERIENCE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OUTFIT AT ALL!

I miss my wild fish and am back to put an order in. How do I go about getting an order and update my credit card?

I recently posted a somewhat negative review of my fish order and it was pointed out I was reviewing the wrong company. I then placed an order for Wild Alaska Salmon and Seafood - Wow am I glad I did!! Night and day difference from the other company!! This one, from Wild Alaska Salmon & Seafood could not be better!! Fresh and so much flavor! This is exactly what I had hoped for and will most certainly be ordering again!! So glad you pointed out the my review was for the wrong company. You have a customer for life now!

I'm not a fish person, mostly whitefish and bluegills is what I eat. The occasional Friday Fishfry pollock or cod.

My wife loves the salmon and steams some cod etc for me, and it's been very good.

Just had the shell on spot prawn. I've spent several years in NC, having done 9yr in the USMC, so I've had a lot of fresh shrimp. These were phenomenal.

The only con to my above pro's is we had a hard time getting rockfish off the subscription. I didn't care for it.

Also, I'm more likely to read 4star vs 5star reveiwes

I have received three shipments of the salmon and white fish combination. Everything arrive frozen solid. The quality is excellent. We are now enjoying two fish meals a week and couldn't be happier with the product.

I really gave this the old college try. I had 12 pieces shipped to my family in Maryland. We tried it and thought it was very fishy and bland. So I told the company. We made sure that I was thawing and cooking correctly and then they sent me a new shipment. Same result. Unanimously, we thought that all of the pieces were very bland, a bit fishy and nowhere close to as good at WholeFoods salmon. SOOOOOO disappointing

First the fish: if you live in a coastal city, just get fresh, and it's better. I live in San Francisco and we get fresher as well as cheaper from water 2 table. Pre-COVID, they only sold to restaurants. If you don't live in a coastal city, how horrible! So who knows if this is better or worse than what you can get but

Second the customer service is terrible: I've tried several times to cancel the recurring order, and it never happens.

Wow... I ordered a build your own salmon and seafood box as a Christmas present and what truly was amazing! It deliver it on time and was completely frozen on dry ice. Each package was extremely well vacuum sealed and looks great right out of the box. They had a great selection of salmon and seafood.
After reading many Google reviews I took a chance and ordered wild Alaskan salmon and seafood. I am 100% completely satisfied and happy with this purchase. They even have a YouTube video who caught your food. thanks wild Alaskan salmon and seafood, I definitely will be ordering from you again in the future.

This is my 4th order from Captain Tony and his product always arrives well packed and in perfect condition. I got a mix of Sockeye, Cod and Shrimp. Can't wait to try the Cod, it looks amazing! His Sockeye is the best quality you can get, Sushi Grade!
Never forget to buy some of his rub, it's amazing on so many things.

It appears several of the reviews on this website are for another Alaskan salmon producer. I've ordered twice from Wild Alaska Salmon & Seafood: king salmon, sockeye salmon, smoked lox and scallops. They always arrive frozen and packaged perfectly. This is not a product you want to overcook. Thaw naturally in the refrigerator. Cook it with care. I couldn't be happier with the quality.

We have tried both Wild Alaskan Company & this company - with the friendly face of the fisherman on the package. There's no comparison as Wild Alaskan Salmon and Seafood is far superior. Arrives promptly and freshly frozen, so we can throw it into our freezer.

Why thyis company got two stars instead of one is that they offered a new shipment or a refund. Received the King Salmon today- arrived partially defrosted-water in the bag along with dry ice. This did not ship directly from Alaska -it shipped from a warehouse in Illinois. I ordered King Salmon for the thick middle sections-I received all skimpy end cuts where there is more skin than fish-2 out of the 10 packages had a bit thicker part of the fish. I paid a premium thinking this salmon would be better than what I could purchase at Heinens for $29.99 per pound. I also immediately after unpacking the soggy mess attempted to contact their business-only voice mail- I received a phone call after posting a google review. Offered to have another shipment-or a refund and apologized-they should take down the picture of the prime center King Salmon displayed on the website- I did not get any of those cuts-and at $34.99 they all should have been center. If you like the tail end-order this. Was going to have a small dinner party-yes socially distancing during Covid -19 and serve this-very disappointed.

Their website brags of "perfectly sized" portions. Most of the 12 6 oz portions I received consisted of 3 to 4 small tail ends in a package. Their photos all feature full sized center cut fillets. What they delivered was 1 center cut fillet, 2 packages with larger tail pieces (2 per package) and 9 packages of small tail ends. Garbage!!!!!

We have placed several orders with this company and the fish and seafood have been wonderful! I've even messaged them on their website for recipes and cooking instructions and they get back immediately and their advice is always excellent!

The Salmon is frozen test different and i can get fresh for the better price I am not satisfied and canceling my further shipment.

Our first and only order from Wild Alaska Salmon & Seafood was very unsatisfactory. 7 of the 20 pouches of salmon had not had the air removed from them, and so were not vacuum sealed. When I reported this to the company they suggested it was probably because the seal had leaked during transit, but that was not the case, they were all still sealed. It seemed to be poor quality control when the salmon was packed. They did issue me a 50% credit which shows they're an ethical company. Then when we ate the salmon we found the fish to be terrible; all of the tail pieces were tough and tasted unlike any salmon we've ever had, like maybe it had been stored too long before shipping. They did say that the salmon was from last season had had been flash frozen and kept until this year. Some of the filets were okay, but several of them were also tough and had an odd taste. We do know how to cook salmon, by the way, as we live on the coast and have fished and eaten fresh salmon quite often. In short, we won't be ordering again from this company.

I love salmon so I ordered 2 boxes of 6oz pieces. All of it is ruined. It arrived frozen and I properly thawed 4 pieces and it taste of frozen water and the texture is wrong. I buy frozen salmon from the local store and have never had fish this terrible. Since they are not answering their phone I tried emailing the company but got no response but I was able to cancel membership. Realizing I'm stuck with it I've tried marinating in lemon, then I tried high grade olive oil but even when I can improve the flavor it still has this awful aftertaste of old frozen water. I tried making pate and salmon cakes and it's still inedible. I would not even feel right about donating it to the food bank. The fact that I got absolutely no response from the company is equally disappointing.

First pack was awesome, so we decided to add few additional items in our second pack.

Few days after 2nd order was placed we received a note from Carlos, Customer Experience Mgr (not sure if he is real) stating order has been delayed in transit and not to worry - (essentially the perishable was sitting at a FedEx facility 20 miles from my home for 6-8 days)

Box arrives and we open to see the biggest disappointment..forget FedEx delay ..the entire seafood was packed with no dry ice...just random salmon thrown into a cardboard box ..essentially we receive raw/rotten fish ..terrible experience.

With back and forth with so called 'Carlos' on delays we we ensured capturing the entire video opening the card box thru' what was in ..thru' going into the trash bag.

I still don't get why the co. cuts corners on dry ice. This was a decent $ order (bad employee?) ..the customer service team wouldn't admit (they want to blame it on FedEx) nor willing to review the footage of their packaging facility on why dry ice was skipped in packing. ..if they packed dry ice ..does the packaging evaporate as well with the delay? ..new scientific study may be required.

Stay away from these people and keep your life at peace is all I can suggest. Things are getting better post-Covid and you can still get good seafood at local grocery stores now.
