A wallet website I've been using doesn't let me solve basilisk captcha that seems to have been developed by Wistia. When I try to solve it, it simply turns to a blank box. Is this wallet site scamming me or is there another problem?

P.S. I managed to solve it but this works in one browser only and not in others.

I have been a Wistia customer for nearly a decade and have stayed with the platform through multiple pricing changes. My most recent experience, however, left me seriously questioning how Wistia treats longtime customers.

When Wistia changed its pricing model, it automatically moved my account onto a significantly more expensive plan that included far more storage than we could realistically use. Our actual usage was clearly much lower. After reviewing Wistia’s plans myself, I discovered a less expensive option that was a much better fit for our needs.

Rather than reviewing our usage and placing us on an appropriate plan, or clearly presenting the available options before making the change, Wistia defaulted us into an oversized subscription. I ultimately had to research the available plans and downgrade the account myself, doing what I believe Wistia should have done during the migration.

The company never meaningfully acknowledged that the selected plan was inappropriate for our usage. There was also no offer to credit the difference or otherwise make the situation right. Instead, the oversized plan was repeatedly presented as a benefit because it provided substantially more storage, even though that storage had no practical value to us.

Longstanding customers should not have to closely monitor their accounts to ensure a pricing migration has not placed them into a plan costing significantly more than what they actually need. This experience felt less like an effort to match customers with the right plan and more like an attempt to keep them paying at the highest possible level.

Amazing insights and extremely easy to use

WAY too expensive. Charging by number of videos is ridiculous!! And now the snippet tool has stopped working. I’m going to have to move to another platform with a better fee model.

Wistia just works and doesn't drop trackers and advertisements on my customers. Much better than youtube.

I’ve been using Wistia for over 15 years now and my review process along with the delivery of our finished videos would be completely lost without Wistia . I mainly use it to share videos with clients for review, host my videos online, and track analytics, both on my site and my clients’ sites.

What I love most is how easy it is for my clients to use. There’s no confusion, no “how do I watch this?” emails...they just click and go. The analytics are super helpful for me and my clients to actually see how people are engaging with the videos.

Over the past 15 years, Wistia has just kept getting better. They are not just sitting on their software hoping people stick with them, they're always adding new features, making things smoother, and improving the overall experience. It feels like they really get what 'video people' like me need.

If you need a reliable, easy-to-use platform for video hosting and client review, Wistia is absolutely worth it.

I have been a Wistia customer for many years, and they continue to provide a great tool to help me run my business. Not only can I use it to host videos and create embed codes, but also to send video previews to clients, create transcripts, and see how my videos are performing. I have been a Wistia customer for about 5 years now. We use Wistia to embed videos on our website, our intranet, and share videos with targeted audiences. We host 1,000+ videos that are streamed for hours each month. Their team is always innovating. Whenever someone comes to me with a video need, Wistia always has a solution. I have been most recently impressed with their Record with Others beta feature. The quality is above and beyond Zoom, and we have moved all our remote interviews from Zoom to Wistia. They have top notch customer service, customer success, and support.

We use Wistia at our orthodontic practice and it’s been awesome. I've used it most for securely sharing videos with patients and for easily making screen recording videos.

My website person loves Wistia and we put videos on our site and get to check the analytics on which services patients are interested in.

The support team is super easy to get ahold of and has been helpful the one time I needed help. The editing features are straightforward and really helpful even if you’re not a video person.

It’s a little pricey, but honestly worth it for how smooth everything runs and for what you can do on the platform.

Any five starts are farmed here. Impossible to cancel service and buggy overall. Can't wait for March 2025, bad service providers like these are in serious trouble once we can one click cancel from the home page.

I like many things about the platform but be warned, they are a REALLY AWFUL company to deal with. Glad to have found out before we locked into a 12 month deal.

I have a paid account $300 bucks per year for SOLO

Most of the time I forget and naively make a new video and then there's always tech issues preventing me from downloading it.

I like Wistia and it's worked great with my website.

I only need a small amount of video hosting and I'm still able to use their free tier.
