Good, could be better
Well, it does what you expect it to do, report your credit to the lenders and get you started on building your score. Unlike their competitors though, wollit just takes the money from you and don’t give any back. that seems rather unreasonable for just reporting me to a credit bureau. I would recommend taking a phone deal or something if you can afford at least you build your credit at the same time as benefiting from it.

Reposting this review as I got bribed to take it down and lied to.
Emailed and asked for account to be cancelled and no evidence of it being on my credit file. Been paying since 06/06/2022
They said it definitely was it's just under my loans sections of my credit accounts
3 different credit score checkers including experian and it's not. Also 1 month after asking for it to be cancelled they've taken 2 additional payments.
Upon reading other reviews the only thing that will show up on my account is a partially paid load apparently. Which multiple people have experienced no reporting until you cancel. When competitor apps, even when cancelled report it as completed loan.
Asside from the fact this has not been reported at all they've just taken £6 a month for over 2 years and then tried to bribe me with an Amazon voucher to remove the review and also lie about it "definitely being under the loans section"
It's just worthless..
Been using another competitor for 1 month and can already see the report in my credit score apps.

We would like to make clear our records show we've consistently reported your loan to all three major credit agencies (Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion) since the start of your plan, and we've provided clear guidance about where this information should appear. When you requested cancellation, we promptly processed it and refunded your most recent payment within a day of your request.
The loan is marked as fully settled, not partially paid. While we can't control how different platforms display credit information, we maintain detailed records of all our reporting activities.
We're always happy to assist customers with any concerns, which is why we provided detailed guidance about checking credit reports and offered multiple ways to help resolve any issues.
Great app
Great app. If you’re renting, get this app. My score has climbed 250 points in two months simply from reporting rent payments to Experian. Why didn’t I do this sooner? It’s no scam, more than worth the monthly fee.

Credit score worse by 80 points
Had this from around January 2024, not only has my credit score dropped by around 80 points, old creditors who I’ve managed to evade for 4 years now have my address. It appears on my credit report as a “loan”. So presumably they’re making out that paying £9 a month to your “loan” will bring your credit score up. Thats laughable. AVOID!

The drop in your credit score is likely due to the overall update of your credit file, including past obligations, rather than Wollit's reporting alone. Having an accurate address for you is necessary for accurate credit and rent reporting, core aspects of our service. The only way to improve your credit file is to appear on it, so for our service to have any direct impact it must appear on your file, with an accurate address. Please note that we don't share information with any of your creditors, although they may view your credit report which is maintained by the credit reference agencies that we update. The reason we structure your subscription as a loan is so that we can report each payment you make to all 3 UK credit reference agencies as loan repayments. Since loan repayments make up a significant part of your credit score, this can be a very effective way of building your credit history.

Easy to setup and efficient in what it does.
The app works on its own once has been set up and this process is easy and straightforward. There are plenty of information on what happens and when. Once it’s working you’ll see nice improvements on your Credit Score.

Rent reporting & taking control of your finances made easy by this App. Would recommend it to anyone who is looking to build up their credit file.
I use this and a Zable card to report each month to the credit reference agencies. Should of done it years ago! Excellent and so easy. Thank you Wollit :)
