What! a 5 star review for a garage?
Well, amazingly, I have been most impressed with this garage. We.
Have used them for some time Probably just over two years.
Each occasion treated with respect. Prices have been honoured and service has been good. I feel the company has integrity, that isn't something you get so many garages.
Unortunately, I had something very serious with the car. They took the car in investigated the problem and gave me a price. On completion of the work the price was honoured, in fact, price was slightly reduced! The offending parts were left for me as requested and they explained the issue. Unhappy, I had the problem but Shah, the manager, dealt with the matter in a very professional manner.
I would confidently recommend the garage to others and will certainly be visiting again. It's good to see such service. Well done.

Well, not used to writing a positive review about a garage, BUT, Here is a first.
Very pleased with the service from the company. All as promised and went to plan. Price was honoured and advised of a couple of items that may need to be looked at in the next two months or so but no pressure.

Have used them a couple of occasions in the past and all went well. I shall use them again.

Always apprehensive when dealing with a garage but this experience was good.

This garage made me losing two cars , first car was gold 5 where the engine needed just valve replacement , but they told me to throw it away , my friend got it fixed after buying it from me
The second is Peugeot 207 and they v done wrong adjusting on timing belt , and they advised me to throw it away , the fact this engine was repaired by another garage next day and found out that the adjusting of the belt was incorrect as they using dodgy cowboys mechanics
I went to get back my refund , I got swords and threats until the police was called to get my VAT receipt
Now I am asking them kindly to get my refund or I ll take it further
This message is for hounslow council trade département just be aware of those cowboys

Note: it's the garage owned and/or managed by Shah *behind* Woodlawn Auto Centre tyre fitters implied in this review, where MOT, repairs and body works are done (probably same owners anyway as their website suggests).

I was referred to that place as a place where quality headlight polishing and in fact all sorts of body works is done and came in for the full car body polishing service. As it eventually turned out they had apparently invented a revolutionary method letting them squeeze the job that was initially announced by Shah himself to take "2-3hrs" down to mere 15min that I personally evidenced the work being done for, staying there all the time. Having done the same job myself years and years ago (also using machinery similar to theirs) I precisely know what it's like and so found the announced price of £80 quite attractive even if half the time/effort compared to mine were spent. When the time finally came to starting the job the worker first said he'd have to do some 2nd job elsewhere later on (taxi driving if I got it right) and so wouldn't be able to finish entire car today, and then after working on it for mere 15min (OK maybe 20min just to be sure) he announces all of a sudden that he's done it all!! What's more, he left the remainder of the polish on all over the place saying I'd have to jetwash it all off myself as "only polishing alone is included into the price". At first I thought the guy alone is dodgy and went straight to Shah for clarifications, who... just backed him, saying it's the "total" time that was actually implied under those 2-3hrs, and that it's not the time I'm paying for but rather the quality/result, and that a very high quality hence expensive polish was used, and that I'm the type of person who likes complaining :-) Meanwhile that earning power of £320/hr using angle grinder with the polishing disc: I bet even dealerships price their labour a few times lower. Perhaps I'm out of sync that badly and modern polishes have some gold or platinum added but..... when I showed the car as is to those who referred me there and asked what they think they just said "It's not nice what they do to their customers at all" and apologized for referring me there. Will try uploading the pictures here if I can... please judge for yourself but I genuinely feel cheated or ripped off, hence the rating. I may happen to be wrong but the market hardly ever is.

Hope it'll be useful for all of those considering any services where quality/effort can be sacrificed during the customer's absence and in fact even presence. Do your best to watch any job like that done start to end, and if at any point you start feeling that something's not matching your expectations that's quite probably for a reason.

P.S. Worth nothing that the wing and half the arch that lost lacquer/paint totalling ~1/6 of entire body area polished did improve to the extent of making the difference almost invisible, so thank them at least for that - and still I'd expect a 15min machine polishing job to cost £20 at most, even with a top grade polish used.
